Abstract
The application provides a low-temperature stable caffeine eye cream, which comprises a coffee extract; an aqueous phase comprising a polyol; the caffeine eye cream has excellent stability at low temperature, recovers to normal temperature without abnormal precipitation, keeps good uniformity of materials, and solves the problem of low-temperature caffeine precipitation of the eye cream.
Description
Technical Field
The application relates to the field of cosmetic formulas, in particular to caffeine eye cream stable at low temperature.
Background
The caffeine oil-in-water ointment cream on the market is quite common at present, the oil-in-water system gives the product a fresh skin feel, and the caffeine can promote the blood circulation of eyes and accelerate the absorption of the functional components in the eye cream, so that the effect of removing dark circles is quite remarkable.
For example, patent application publication No. CN1 13679646a describes an eye cream capable of sustained release for a long period of time, which can smooth fine wrinkles, tighten eye bags, promote elasticity around eyes, and repair damaged skin.
In practicing the present application, the inventors have found that there are at least the following drawbacks in the prior art:
when the use environment of the product is a season with lower air temperature or an area with generally lower temperature (such as a city in the northern area of China), consumers in the areas have low acceptance of the oil-in-water product with higher refreshing feeling, and the oil content of the oil-in-water system is low, so that the moisture retention capacity and the skin feeling are insufficient. Moreover, the solubility of caffeine in the aqueous phase decreases under low temperature conditions (5 ℃ C.) to cause precipitation of caffeine, and white precipitates are observed after the recovery of normal temperature conditions. The precipitation of caffeine not only causes the appearance of the product to change adversely, but also can influence the effect of removing dark circles of the product due to the reduction of the concentration of caffeine.
Disclosure of Invention
The application aims to solve the technical problems:
low temperature stability of caffeine eye creams.
The technical means for solving the technical problems are as follows:
polydimethylsiloxane, as a strongly hydrophobic substance, can form a natural moisture retention and water replenishing barrier, ensuring that the moisture in the body does not volatilize through the skin. 15-20% of silicone oil adopts polydimethylsiloxane which is not easy to volatilize, and the dosage of the silicone oil is increased, so that the moisturizing effect of the product can be remarkably improved, but the product becomes sticky and has poor skin feel. The inventors have unexpectedly found that the combination of 0.2-1% lauryl PEG-9 dimethicone ethyl dimethicone and 2.5-4% dimethicone (and) PEG/PPG-18/18 dimethicone gives very good skin feel and stability to the existing formulation when used as an emulsifier. The two components act together, so that the moisturizing capability of the product can be improved, the skin feel during use is improved, and the separation of caffeine can be prevented.
In one aspect, the present application provides a cosmetic composition having:
coffee extract;
an aqueous phase comprising a polyol; the weight portions of the components are calculated,
0.5 to 1 percent of inorganic salt, 15 to 20 percent of silicone oil, 4 to 7 percent of silicon elastomer, 4 to 6 percent of skin feel modifier, 0.2 to 1 percent of emulsifying agent and 2.5 to 4 percent of emulsifying thickener;
wherein the emulsifying thickener is configured as polydimethylsiloxane (and) PEG/PPG-18/18 polydimethylsiloxane; the emulsifier is configured as lauryl PEG-9 dimethicone ethyl dimethicone.
In another aspect, the present application also provides an external preparation for skin comprising any one of the aforementioned compositions.
The beneficial effects are that:
according to the cosmetic composition provided by the application, the emulsifier in the original formula, namely, the bis-PEG/PPG-16/16 polydimethylsiloxane, is replaced by the lauryl PEG-9 polydimethylsiloxane ethyl polydimethylsiloxane, meanwhile, the combination of the emulsifying thickeners, namely, the sodium acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, the isohexadecane, the polysorbate-80 and the sorbitan oleate are replaced by the novel emulsifying thickener, namely, the polydimethylsiloxane (and) PEG/PPG-18/18 polydimethylsiloxane, so that the caffeine eye cream provided by the application has excellent stability at low temperature, is recovered to normal temperature without abnormal precipitation, and has good homogeneity. Can solve the problem that caffeine can be separated out under the condition of low temperature of the caffeine eye cream.
