Abstract
A media content processing method includes submitting a broadcast to a computer or server of a receiving entity, the broadcast being encoded in a neutral manner such that an author and associated identifying information are unrecognizable for a variety of purposes. The stories are reviewed by a plurality of independent reviewers that do not have access to the identifying information based on the qualitative assessment of the stories, and some stories are selected based on the qualitative assessment of the reviewers. The selected material is broadcast according to a predetermined schedule and may also be placed in a content library for access by viewers. Advertisements are associated with the selected material during the broadcast of the selected material to generate revenue. The creator of the work obtains consideration based on revenue generated by the advertisement associated with the material.
Description
Field and background of the invention
The present invention relates to a method and system for processing media. More particularly, the present invention relates to systems and methods for creating libraries of material (such as music or movies), making such material available for viewing by distribution or broadcasting, evaluating the material, and effectively associating such material with advertisements and advertisers.
Disclosure of Invention
Thus, the present invention is a mechanism or system by which creators of original content and other content can make their works available, and whereby reviewers can selectively view the works and evaluate the works, preferably in a manner based primarily on the quality of the content or its appeal to the audience population. Preferably, the reviewer will view such works based solely on content without knowing the name or identity of the creator. Thus, in one aspect, the invention is an invention whereby a work of an author uploaded to a server or computer for review by others is evaluated for its advantages, thereby making it possible for less well-known or unknown authors to present their works in a more fair competitive environment with others who may have easier access to entities or channels that traditionally distribute such works. In other words, the system and method of the present invention allows works to be evaluated primarily based on content and inherent advantages, rather than based on the name or awareness of the creator, or personal connections or relationships that the creator may have.
In accordance with one aspect of the invention, the reviewers of such authored works will score their content according to the advantages of such works (which may include a number of parameters), and if such works are deemed eligible for broadcast or distribution by the reviewer, such works will be placed in a digital or computer-based library or location. Such a content library would be accessible to general users or subscribers through other electronic devices, including computers, smartphones and tablets. Furthermore, in accordance with the present invention, the number of subscribers and their demographics will be continually monitored by software on the central computer to associate advertisers and advertisements with the content as the subscribers or viewers view the content. On the other hand, revenue obtained from advertisers in this manner will be calculated by the central computer or other hardware and will be used in part to pay the creation artist of the work so that they will benefit directly from the achievement of their creation capabilities, preferably to a much greater extent than under current conventional procedures.

Fig. 2 illustrates the working principle of the current distribution model. Triangles represent distribution channels/distributors, "X" represents content creators, and arrows represent the way that content creators struggle to get attention and want to be broadcast to generate revenue. As shown, with so many content creators, few channels are available for broadcasting, limiting distribution, and current models allow the distributor to have full control over the choice and selection of content to broadcast and how much consideration is paid to the content creators.
Fig. 3 illustrates how the present invention expands its broadcast distribution at any time, which allows the distribution model to also expand to handle more content through the system.
The actions described in the following three figures are made possible because the present invention can expand broadcast availability (as shown by the additional tv icons) at any time, allowing for a wider distribution channel (inverted triangle) and increased processing, and thus allowing for more content to be broadcast, which equates to more content creators getting revenue and exposure, resulting in more exposure and additional revenue.
Fig. 3A illustrates an initial configuration of content creator downstream through the system of the present invention. When the proliferated content arrives to populate its currently configured distribution channel, it is adjusted as shown in fig. 3B.
Fig. 3B shows how the distribution channel widens at the top, allowing more content creators to enter the distribution, and in addition, the distribution of the distribution channel bottom to the broadcast also widens to accommodate more access to more broadcast options.
Fig. 3C shows a further widening than the one detailed in fig. 3B, a wider inflow at the top, a wider overall channel, a wider distribution at the bottom, and more broadcast options.
Detailed description of the invention
The following is a detailed description of the steps and processes involved in media processing according to the present invention. It is to be understood that the order of the steps or the manner in which each of the steps is performed may vary and that all such variations are intended to be within the scope of the present invention.
The program of the present invention is executed by uploading submitted stories to a computer or server and reviewing, evaluating, and publishing such stories as one or more files on the computer or server based on the results of the process. The reviewer and other personnel handling the uploaded material will have varying degrees of access to the uploaded material and may move or copy the uploaded material in an original or edited version to other parts or segments of a computer or server, or to a remote computer, according to security and authorization protocols, depending on whether such uploaded material is deemed to meet quality and/or authoring criteria. Other relevant material may also be uploaded to a computer or server including advertisements, broadcast schedules, number of viewers, just to name a few examples, but more examples will be referred to below. Such other relevant material may be selectively combined or associated with the uploaded submitted material in various forms and combinations and stored on a computer or server. In one embodiment, a computer, server, central server, or data center may be defined as a set of integrated computer components, including a set of networked servers: connecting to the internet via a core router that is balanced by a hardware load balancer and software to receive network traffic from around the world; filtering with a firewall and network packets are transmitted via a backbone router and a leaf router, and then stored and processed on a high-computation flexible node server; and various types of software are installed for collecting, analyzing and formatting information including ratings, associated advertisements, billing software (to name a few examples), which in one embodiment may be defined as iOS development software programs, android (Android) development software programs, network operations management software programs, and performance Helix version control software programs. Some of the functions of the present invention require additional specialized software coding algorithms to work, examples of such functions being advertisements placed in the downloaded content, which are self-deleting once they are viewed a predetermined number of times.
Thus, it should be understood that the programs and steps according to the present invention are all executed on electronic hardware, including computers, servers, tablets, to name a few examples, and that discussion of the various processes of the present invention should be understood to be performed in such context and environment.
Current problems and countermeasures
It is well accepted in artists that almost all creative work distribution pathways are controlled by a small number of large industry companies that have a limited amount of distribution/broadcast time distribution based on their company infrastructure, creating a strong competition between content creators for this limited time that ultimately fails to distribute/broadcast all of the selected content that these large companies want to distribute. Just as more people than work can lead to payroll reduction, more content than broadcasting capability can reduce the value of the content, thereby reducing revenue generated by broadcasting. Particularly for less well known artists, the challenge is how to obtain enough exposures to top up the content heap and convert the exposures into revenue by obtaining the broadcast time. With the present invention's ability to expand airtime distribution without limitation, the wider the distribution channel can be evaluated to allow more and more premium content to ultimately flow to viewers, thereby allowing content creators to generate considerable revenue from their premium works without having to struggle with the limited amount of airtime distribution allowed by existing industry models.
The present invention seeks to isolate the best content from emerging and mature creative artists, perform such works on multiple media platforms, and provide more than reasonable revenue to the artists. The content provided by the invention is not limited by familiar seasonal programs, and the new seasonal program for the audience only starts once or twice a year. By its nature, the system of the present invention is able to provide a growing top quality of content, thereby making it possible for a viewing audience to reach thousands of new artists each year, in sharp contrast to familiar seasonal programs. The fact that all content is consistent is that they have been approved by a multi-level blind and independent review process, which is a reward for the viewer, as the viewer does not have to invest time and effort to find such content.
Submission and review
This process is initiated by the artist or creator of the content. Content may take many different forms, but most commonly may be movies, video, or music. However, other authored works, including books, artwork, single-port comedies, dances, scripts, etc., may also be processed in accordance with the present invention.
Within the present invention, an artist or any person in possession of a work right must establish a private account, preferably in a secure manner through an internet connection between computers, and once completed, the person will receive their i.d. number and the uploaded content will further receive a specific i.d., which is an extension of the private account i.d..
After the authored work is completed, the artist or representative thereof will upload the content to the receiving computer or server through a commit custody department (such as through an online commit portal). After this process is completed, the content file is transferred, and payment is made, the artist may be provided with a receipt confirmation, which may include an identification number and a confirmation that the content has been uploaded for further review. In addition, artists may be charged a fee for the submission, such as a nominal fee of $25 to $75, although these fees may be any number. The amount of the fee may be related to the length of the content, which of course affects the amount of time required to review and evaluate the submitted work, as will be described in further detail below.
Once the work is submitted and uploaded to the custody, the next step of the process begins and involves review of the work to assess its quality or appeal and determine if the work should continue through the assessment process. The nature of the review and the parameters upon which the work is evaluated may vary widely, for example, depending on the work itself and the crowd for which it is intended. A description of preferred review programs is set forth below, but these programs may be changed or modified depending on the circumstances determined and still be within the scope of the present invention.
An important preferred feature of the review process is that it is "blind". This means that the reviewer of the work is not aware of the identity of the work creator or past contributions. The goal, of course, is to review the work itself without bias, without being affected by external factors such as the relative reputation or silently of the creator, and the connections or relationships that the creator may have. The review may include multiple phases. In one embodiment, the first stage of the review process requires the presentation and review of the work or content by numerous review board members (typically 8 to 10 members per level, as an example), as will be determined in accordance with the present invention. At this stage, each of these reviewers will review the work individually and separately, either in an authorized and secure manner to access the content on the computer or server that uploaded the work, or to copy the content to a remote device. Each reviewer scores the work, takes notes as appropriate to ensure the adequacy and completeness of the review while maintaining its integrity, and records their idea of entering the next level of blindness into the particular work being reviewed. This can be done entirely within the scope of a central data center of a server or computer.
In one aspect of the invention, the work will go through three separate review phases, each of which is reviewed by multiple or multiple reviewers, such that before the work or piece of content may be accepted for broadcast (as will be described further below), it will have passed through and be reviewed by the reviewer in these three separate blind review phases, and thus the result will be a comprehensive contribution of perhaps 24 to 30 members of the review board, none of which is aware of the identity, age, race, or gender of the creator.
By using at least a small number of reviewers, and by way of example eight reviewers in three separate stages, the triple blind process proceeds independently and without any basic current industry standard bias affecting the decision making process, so the process will help identify the best materials that can then go to the next stage. In one aspect of the invention, each of these reviewers will review the work independently, without reference to the other reviewers, but other variations are possible, wherein the reviewers may work in pairs or in groups of determined sizes at least during one or more evaluation phases, which may be considered the most efficient way to evaluate the work.
To protect the integrity of the review, a step may be incorporated to ensure that the committee member cannot follow a particular piece of content, for example, as it moves from one segment of the data center to another segment of the data center that may be moving to the broadcast. Since all content, and even the reviewer itself, is not identified, the reviewer cannot effectively "push" any particular piece of content to the broadcast phase by itself. When reviewed, the content item has no additional name or other identifying information, the reviewer has no additional name, the reviewer note is not appended to the content being reviewed, but is saved with the content and is not disclosed to any other reviewer that might review the same content, where the last note is reviewed only at the end of the evaluation process and the advanced review board member actively facilitates subsequent steps. The content creator of the pending broadcast may be notified or informed of this, and the composer may also compose a letter to the content creator whose work was not being broadcast, informing of this result. The notes made by the reviewer may be accompanied by any rejection (or even acceptance) to indicate that the creator is encouraged to take into account the recorded suggestions, make changes, and resubmit. In addition, another segment of the data center computer system may need to track the reviewers that are evaluating any particular piece of content to ensure that the quality control process of the reviewed content is maintained. Thus, this strict neutrality in the review process helps ensure that the same and best content will almost always rise to a broadcast level, no matter how many times it has been run in the process, or indeed which reviewers from the review board pool evaluate the content.
The evaluation of the work may be based on some set parameters, factors, or schemes that the reviewer may be guided by, and may include: storyline, character development, performance, director, and overall production quality of movies and videos. In the music field, factors to be considered in the evaluation may include: melody, harmony, rhythm, form, lyrics and quality of production. Of course, these are merely examples.
After the above review process and stage is completed, all content is finally projected or listened to by most members of the review board, preferably in a suitable projection room. The content may be presented directly from a computer or server, or copied and presented therefrom. Such final presentations may include content that survived the above-described stage and was approved, or may even include some or all of the work that may not have passed verification in these preliminary reviews. Adding content that fails verification may achieve several goals: it provides another opportunity for a piece of premium content that may be ignored. Further, if the content is not satisfactory, then the owner who participated in the last showing before the broadcast timing was set may make verbal instructions at the time of the content playing, which instructions may be uploaded and associated with the content on the server. After the final projection review is made and the work selected for further processing is approved, the artist or creator of the work is contacted, informed of the decision, and a broadcast is scheduled and scheduled for such content. For this reason, the system may require the presence of an "artist relationship".
The selected content is then encoded and processed into a broadcast management system, which may reside on another segment of the central data system, and scheduled for broadcast. When using the present invention, the broadcast management system programming function allows for certain user preferences. Other features may be provided, such as the ability to designate a work as "favorite". The content library may be contrasted with the broadcasting of the work: during a broadcast, a viewer will watch the selected material and programs being played in real time, just as a person would watch a web TV. However, the same content may also exist in the content library so that the user or viewer may access the work at any time, or perhaps watch from the beginning, and the broadcast may be missed if it joins only halfway through the work's play.
In one aspect of the invention, a work, which may be video, will be placed in a particular recurring program period for a maximum of eight weeks. In other words, the work will be broadcast for a selected period of time over a period of eight weeks. The broadcast management system may keep a log of one piece of content at a time, allowing an accurate billing system so that the calculation of payment to the artist can be effectively controlled and accurately calculated.
In one aspect of the invention, the share of revenue generated by an artist through advertising during the broadcast of his work may be paid within forty-five days after the end of his rotation, e.g., eight weeks or fifty-six days. Shorter length rotations may also be utilized and the artist may be paid for on a shorter or longer schedule.
Although the specific number may vary from current situation to current situation, only the first 2% of the submitted content will typically be approved for broadcast. Further, this 2% would be all content running on a broadcast system that would broadcast or stream continuously twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Such uninterrupted streaming occurs simultaneously on multiple channels, each dedicated to a particular genre in one aspect of the invention. In some cases, two or more similar genres may occupy one channel.
Content acquisition process
By this method, the acquisition process is able to mine and utilize rich content that might otherwise never be visible, and which is authored by an artist who is able to take advantage of the benefits of a large array of newly developed audio and video authoring tools that are now available to the author at any time. Mining these rich content enables the review board to build a vast library of works that can be broadcast or viewed 24 hours a day. Many of these works may include world-level content and represent submissions submitted in accordance with the present invention that are made entirely by independent, unattached and external creators and producers, and thus represent no overhead and expense for the broadcast function of the present invention. The importance of avoiding the overhead and expense of the prior art serves many purposes and is one of the more significant differences between the present invention and the current industry business model. Thus, the method and system of the present invention utilize high quality works, many of which may be ignored by the relevant industry in the current traditional procedures for finding, distributing and broadcasting high quality works of art.
Thus, unlike conventional TV networks and studios, the system and program according to the present invention does not present an investment risk to the pre-production costs of content that may or may not be authored yet that may not appeal to the viewer. This, of course, in turn determines whether the advertiser is willing to purchase advertising inventory. By mining a vast, otherwise out-of-service or out-of-service source, the present invention then selects the best, existing, through-the-make, and possibly substantially ready-to-play content from this source.
For those submissions approved by the review board and selected for broadcasting, in accordance with the present invention, the creator or other person associated with such submissions may be paid a large portion, or at least a substantial portion, of the advertising revenue. The reality that the creator can obtain considerable revenue in turn is likely to push the competition threshold higher, resulting in better quality content. In addition, higher quality content has the potential for attracting more viewers, and this naturally translates into higher advertising fees and revenues, and thus higher revenues for the content creator, and thus higher quality content production. According to the system of the present invention, the most immediate persons who benefit from the system are the artists themselves, who are often low rewards and representatively inadequate in the traditional market. However, in a broader sense, the viewer and advertiser will ultimately benefit from the appearance of high quality material, and thus this is beneficial to all relevant personnel.
Program advertisement relation model
Libraries of submitted and/or approved content according to the present invention may span the entire field and include movies and videos of drama, comedy, action, and other genres. The library may also include a wide variety of music types, single port comedies, and dances, which may be broadcast in a set of streaming channels. As mentioned above, as the volume of submissions increases, as well as the quality of content increases and rises to higher and higher levels, the number of music and movie channels will continue to increase, providing more and more choices for viewers, and also providing advertisers with the ability to relate their products to premium material for a particular area. In addition, channels and the overall system generally allow content of any length. Traditionally, broadcasters have scheduled programs in a fixed schedule. This enables them to maximize the commercial time per 30 or 60 minute time window. An example is a 30 minute TV program, 22 minutes in length, allowing 8 minutes of commercials. The model requires that the authoring content be suitable, which in many cases directly and profoundly affects the organic nature of the authoring process by removing suitable material or adding unwanted material to meet the time requirements. Further, by eliminating the timer on the content, and adding the ability of the present invention to calculate monetization to minutes or even seconds, artists creating highlight artwork on Vine or Instagram for only a few seconds can monetize those artwork.
The system according to the invention can set a program schedule for all channels, which may be very similar to what has been done for internet protocol television in the past. Viewing will not collect any subscription fees and provide limited commercials. An additional function of the system of the present invention is to solve and attempt to solve the digital advertising algorithm challenges that other streaming services typically face. This is accomplished by knowing with great accuracy how many people are watching any given channel at any particular time, as well as the age, sex, and location of each audience member. This information may be provided to advertisers so that the advertisers can direct their advertising fees to a selected demographic for whom parameters are known much more than in conventional past and current use cases.
The system of the present invention will also request and require audience members to view and pay attention to commercials that are presented during a performance, and especially if the revenues obtained from them, or at least a significant portion of them, are known to be owned by the artist who authored the content they are currently enjoying, the audience is likely to prefer to view such commercials. Thus, there is a reciprocal relationship or association between the creator or artist, the viewer and the advertiser, all of which benefit from each other in a more immediate sense than in the past. Further, the advertisement may ultimately be more relevant to a particular audience because products with little or no relevance to the known population are unlikely to be broadcast in places that may be ignored or disliked. In addition, the present invention allows viewers to save advertisements of interest to them into their personal library accounts and gives viewers the ability to comment on the advertisements directly to advertisers, further helping companies more accurately meet their targeted market needs. The system also allows the viewer to request additional information about the advertised product while providing the advertiser with the ability to reply directly to the viewer by email or other form of communication.
The invention may also allow sharing of commercials such that a viewer forwards interesting and potentially useful commercials to another viewer. In such a case, the advertiser will be notified and may also decide to send additional material that may be helpful to the viewer or the person sharing the commercial with it. Upon registration, the viewer may provide an email address to which primary or secondary advertising content may be sent. In addition, the library account may be able to receive subsequent advertising information, thereby eliminating the user from having to worry that their personal home email account is bombarded with advertising or unwanted information.
Advertisements and commercials may be deleted by themselves. These advertisements are then self-deleting. Alternatively, they may not be self-deleting, but rather shut down. In such a case, if the viewer shares the content with another person, or transfers the content to another device, the advertisement will reopen for viewing, and the same process will begin again.
To monetize additional audience members or new devices, the invention may require the account holder to register their device. When content is shared to another device, the device must connect to Wi-Fi or another form of connection to the service of the present invention, which allows the system of the present invention to observe the way the content goes to, and whether the device can be identified. If the device is identified, the charge may be a rate. If not, the new user must register an account with the platform of the system of the present invention in order to view the content. At this point, the system may notify the advertiser of the additional viewing and associated fees.
The system of the present invention may also include an on-demand component whereby currently streaming authored audience members from TV-like broadcasts may be further able to access a content library in order to view such content from the library. This has several advantages. Thus, viewers can watch the program when they want to watch it, and how many times they want to watch it. Further, viewers will be able to view their performances from the head, starting from the middle only, during the broadcast stream. Further, if enjoying the content and the viewer believes that other people may also gain enjoyment, they may have the ability to download the content or send such performances or links thereof to friends. Performances may also be saved to the viewer's personal favorites or library file, which can be viewed on a number of devices, including mobile phones, notebook computers, smart TVs, just to name a few of the more common devices.
Alternate broadcast mode
It should be appreciated that individuals viewing entertainment often have a viewing mode. For example, a person sits down for TV after dinner for two hours. This would be a repeating pattern based on their living schedule. Modes like the one described above do not allow a typical viewer to see a large amount of new content every day, because the entire media industry is a financial model, rather than a model that exposes a large amount of new content to viewers. This is somewhat like the automotive industry, where they may add hundreds of new features to a tomorrow's automobile, but they actually take 3-5 years to implement all of these features, because their business model is capital driven, rather than providing consumers with everything they own.
The alternate broadcast model of the present invention is in contrast to these models, where the goal is to show as much new premium content as possible, believing that there is always more content available to be shown, while believing that the viewer should be able to access new and different content each time he chooses to pull out time to watch the entertainment program.
The present invention builds blocks of content, examples being six hours of blocks (in other examples, blocks may be built longer or shorter). The content blocks have their locations and are rotated forward around the clock each day, while the content within the time blocks is also rotated each day. An example for one of the channels may be to utilize eight time blocks, with six hours of content in each block filling two complete broadcast days. Block A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H would start broadcasting at midnight starting at block a and run to 6 a.m., then block B starts at 6 a.m. and runs to noon, and so on, for the entire two days or 48 hours. Then, all blocks are rotated forward by one position together with the first block (typically block a is moved to the end of the line after block H in the next rotation), this time block B starts at midnight, runs all the way to 6 a.m., then block C runs all the way to noon from 6 a.m., with the remaining blocks following in sequence. The next cycle starts broadcasting at midnight beginning with block C. This rotation of content blocks allows the viewer to view the channel in normal and consistent viewing mode for 11 days before again viewing the same content block. In addition, if the content within each six-hour block is also rotated forward one full hour each time the block reaches the start broadcast location, this creates a dynamic such as when the viewer's consistent pattern causes them to watch when block a returns to their viewing time in their pattern, the order of the content has changed, giving the viewer the opportunity to see what they might not have seen in the six-hour block before. This means that if a viewer watches one hour of the program every night, it may take up to 60 days to see all of the content provided in the first eight 6-hour content blocks. Broadcasting may be accomplished by, for example, streaming the content online or transmitting the content by other conventional means.
Admittance and funds
Whether musicians, composers, directors, actors, producers, or other artists, it is known that large business companies generally control almost all distribution pathways and thus play a great role in deciding which works can reach the public and which works cannot. Most artists are excluded. While readily available technology has enabled new generation artists to make broadcast-ready content (whether movies, television, or music) in their own homes or small offices, the internet will provide an additional platform for large-scale exposure of small content creators so that their promise of being able to monetize such content remains a significant challenge. This may be related to the ability of unknown or even known artists to capture the audience. Thus, the most important issue for many artists is how to obtain sufficient exposure and then convert this exposure into revenue.
Indeed, due to the wide media options of the wide variety of devices and platforms now, advertising with billions of dollars worth is challenging to reach primarily consumers, not to mention small artists, regardless of content quality. On the other hand, finding high quality and highlight material for viewing is also challenging, requiring the viewer to travel in the near infinite average or even average ocean of the material to find the precious stone contained therein.
The present invention thus provides a system featuring a set of channels that broadcast very high quality content from emerging and mature composers, directors, recording artists and others that have passed through a review process, broadcasting only the best of the best content and making it available to the public across a variety of media platforms and through a variety of types of digital devices. At the same time, a reasonable revenue source is provided for the artist, which may exceed any revenue currently available, especially for unknown or less known artists.
One of the main financial advantages of artists whose content is utilized by the present invention is that the amount of revenue they can generate is hooked with advertising rates that rise as the audience rating increases. Traditionally, artists have licensed their broadcast-ready content for use by the network to negotiate a fixed rate. The network then strives to maximize advertising revenue for the ad slots sold within the licensed content. The network may generate many times more revenue than it pays for the right to broadcast the content.
The present invention provides opportunities for authoring content across all genres and also provides current producers with the same or comparable financial arrangements to bring broadcast-ready media to the primary network. It is emphasized that the selection according to the invention is based solely on the quality of the content.
The present invention provides a broadcast model that provides a powerful mix of network, streaming and on-demand services available on multiple platforms. This is determined by a combination of how it provides content, how it sets up a program schedule, and how it has a content library. Content producers can take advantage of the strength of the system of the present invention and viewers can enjoy top quality entertainment from talents that have been discovered and not previously discovered without having to spend valuable time searching. The review process of the present invention helps identify the highest quality submissions without prejudice. Finally, advertisers can collect vital viewer data in the latest real-time fashion, which is more accurate than any other distribution channel in the industry. By requiring viewers to establish an account, and then further requiring subscribed viewers to access any channel with their passcode, the present invention is uniquely positioned to know exactly how many people are on each channel at any given time, specifically what each viewer is looking at, the viewer's approximate location, and the viewer's age, race, and gender. All of these features are currently unavailable to advertisers and are urgently needed to better guide their advertising campaign costs.
Typical networks or traditional broadcasters utilize capital resources at the front end to author content, license content, or purchase content. The payouts may then be retracted by advertising revenue. However, there is an inherent risk. If the content is not popular, the advertising rate will be low and this will only encourage the entertainment company to continue to work with previously proven artists and creators, with little risk, and to work securely for revenue streams so that they can safely strive to reclaim their spending. The system of the present invention eliminates or greatly reduces aversion to risks because there is no early capital expenditure for content authoring or retrieval. The present invention provides a review as described above for screening a large number of stories to identify the best stories. The purpose is that the quality is higher than everything.
It should be appreciated that in the entertainment industry, which includes approximately 700 cable channels, hundreds of network channels, tens of streaming channels, and countless free channels, something remains consistent: (1) means for monetizing the content; (2) the manner in which the content is collected; and (3) the manner in which the content is controlled. The factor that varies is the manner in which the content is provided. Accordingly, faster downloads, higher definition, media of use (TV, computer, cell phone, game machine, etc.), contracts or no contracts, groups are continually evolving in an effort to meet ever changing demands. There may be over 1 million home cable TV, about 7000 tens of thousands of homes with nefei (Netflix), and many other options. All these options guarantee two things. Firstly, commercial advertising has a lot of approaches, and secondly, quality content is screened from a large amount of content. In addition, it is also difficult for advertisers to find markets in such diverse viewing options. The system of the present invention provides an independent and "blind" review process that promotes premium content to the top for distribution and broadcast.
Advertisers grasp information about viewers in real time and it is important that the creating artists be able to enjoy a considerable return from their creation. The broadcast is funded by the content submission fee, so the artist supports a platform, which in turn can support the artist. Advertising revenue and revenue rate are directly related to the number of viewers. The number of viewers is determined by the quality of the content. As content quality is discovered, ratings will rise, and thus advertising revenue will rise, and thus artist revenue will also rise, even more so, due to the overhead costs covered by the fee for the delivery.
Advertising rates according to the present invention may be calculated by mathematical equations, for example, based on the cost per thousand people to watch a particular program. On this basis, a fee for a specified amount will be charged. The rate may be higher or lower depending on the time of day or even the day of the week. The calculation may be scaled down to know the advertising revenue amount per minute or even per second in order to more accurately compensate the content creator. The ability to shrink to seconds allows the timer to be removed over the length of the content. The timer is the length of time that the content must meet or conform to the traditional broadcast advertising model. Such models directly affect the originality and the organically of content authored for entertainment purposes.
Additional description and discussion
(A) Commercial content embedded in the freely downloadable content is self-deleted or self-closed after a set number of views. Current content (music, video or movies) can be downloaded from various sites with only a small fee paid. The content library takes a small share of the download cost and also sells advertising space on pages of the library to generate more revenue.
(A1) In the present invention, the content library (invention) has many functions, including it allows for free downloading of all content while still paying more to the content creator than they would have generated from a traditional library. This is achieved by placing advertisements at the beginning, middle or end of the downloaded content. Such advertisements (or advertisements depending on the length of the downloaded content) are deleted or turned off by themselves after the content is viewed a set number of times. These advertisements generate revenue for the creator and the library.
(B) The on demand capability may be directly linked to the scheduled program. Currently, on-demand services include a content library of past programs for a particular network, or stand-alone services that hold thousands of past programs and movie content titles. The on-demand service itself allows viewers to access these titles for free and actually watch some of them for free. However, most of these titles cost viewers several dollars to view. The selected charged content allows the viewer to view as desired within twenty-four hours.
(B1) In the present invention, viewers can change from viewing their open program in the middle to viewing this exact content in the library by clicking on an icon. In the library, they can read the notes, save for later viewing, view from scratch, or leave review notes for other viewers. One reasonable comparison is, for example, to open ABC channel 7 in the middle of a program and click on an icon to reach ABC's content library and enable all of the above options. The audience members may begin watching a program on one of the channels they joined to previously begin and they may activate an on-screen icon (or use some other program) and be brought to that exact program in the content library where the viewer has several options available. These options include: (1) viewing from scratch, (2) collecting the program (which would place it in their personal content library) for later viewing, (3) reading notes about the program from people participating in the creation of the program, (4) eventually leaving their own comments after viewing, and (5) fully controlling the content. In this regard, several current cable channels allow the viewer to choose a restart function and the program restarted. However, the viewer cannot fast forward, reverse or pause for a long period of time. Thus, in contrast, this is not a complete control of the viewer.
(C) Advertising, the Nielson (Nielson) rating system is standard for web TV. The system uses a small percentage of households that have a ratings box in their houses that tracks what each household is viewing, including time, channels, etc. All of this data is then extrapolated to the nielsen specified numbers covering the entire country and then considered to be the program being viewed by the entire country. The advertising rate is then based on these numbers. Currently, advertisers pay for advertising campaigns and get a report after their entire campaign has ended and after they have spent their advertising fees. Only at this time can they see if their advertising campaign has reached the desired outcome. The main problem with the nielsen model is that only about 40,000 households use the nielsen box to capture this information, and about 118,000,000 households use tv=s. Essentially, about 0.00337% of the viewing public's viewing habits are used to calculate what the remaining about 99.99662% of the public should be viewing.
(C1) In the present invention, each channel is programmed and knows what is playing, much like a network. However, since the present invention utilizes a streaming service, viewers may be required to establish a personal account that assigns them a personal access code. This code must be used whenever a viewer wishes to access a channel. In a preferred form, the only personal data required is age, gender and zip code. With this data, it is possible to provide advertisers with data in real time regarding exactly how many people are on a certain channel when their commercials are run, and the age, sex, and zip code of those people. For a company to advertise in a local market, it may also enter other local markets in the region where they are located, or any other region of the country. Such real-time data (which can be accessed through an account immediately after the commercial is broadcast to view the numbers) allows for adjustment of advertisers' marketing strategies and viewing of numbers from elsewhere in their locale to see if expansion is significant in an educated manner that the advertising industry does not currently have. According to the characteristics of the invention, the advertiser can adjust the advertising activities of the advertiser in the middle of the advertising activities, thereby greatly improving the success rate of specific targets of the advertiser.
(C2) In addition, through the library, viewers interested but not having a way to record or write down the information at the time can access all commercials at a later time. When an advertisement is on the screen of their device, by clicking on the favorite icon, the commercial may be saved to their personal library account and the advertiser may be further notified of the viewer's interests so that they can send information to the viewer via email.
(C3) Another function available to advertisers is to preload the instant impression process. This process allows advertisers to set indicia numbers that trigger advertisement purchase and placement to broadcast rotation. For example, advertisers in the dallas area may be interested in expanding to additional local markets, but want to spend additional revenue only if they can reach a certain minimum number of viewers. Advertisers can set minimum numbers, set markets in which they are interested, and set their budgets. When these set numbers are reached in any or all of the additional markets, their advertisements are placed in the broadcast rotation for viewing. This brings several particular advantages to advertisers: (1) It reduces the risk typically associated with purchasing advertisements based on the current number of viewers, which may not be relevant or up-to-date when the advertiser's advertisement is actually running. This risk reduction process is directly related to the overall ability to accurately know how many people are watching each channel in each city both nationally and overseas. (2) Instead of waiting for months to be arranged to rotate as in current methods, advertisers are allowed to test new markets and/or new advertising content "now". (3) Advertisers are allowed to monitor instant results and to configure their long-term advertisement purchases based on real-time numbers by potentially running multiple advertisements simultaneously to compare impact and results. This is in contrast to current methods that force advertisers to purchase advertisement time in bulk to place within a set time frame, the result of the entire advertisement purchase will occur after the campaign is completed. This is essentially a system that increases the financial risk of smaller advertisers. It is desirable that the advertisement they run is the best of the two or three advertisements they make, but with no advance certainty.
(D) Broadcast of the obtained content: the way in which artists currently obtain any form of authored content play out may be as follows. For example, in the case of a movie, a script must first be written, and then funds must be found in order to begin the pre-production. In order to obtain funds, a record of the success of past works must be tracked. If not, the creator may have to solicit and borrow money from friends and family, and this may only cover a short movie at best. Even if the creator can build enough funds to make a complete long, distribution and broadcast channels are needed. To obtain a distribution, the creator needs a relationship-a broker or an agent, but again, successful trace records often control the acquisition of these relationships. Since the industry spends a lot of money in each part of the authoring process, they tend to choose proven success, which is often quality independent. Because the distribution process requires a significant amount of money to promote and market the product, it is very difficult for individual artists to obtain support or hold from the distribution company or broadcaster. If enough fortunately walked to this step, the artist will usually get the least part of his profit if any. Not only is funds needed, but there is the fact that the number of periods available for viewing is not infinite. Several decades ago, movies were at theatre for approximately 2-3 months. Today, a period of weeks has been long before one movie is replaced by the next. In a TV/cable program, there is an endless replay, filling up the time of the channel. While broadcasters sell advertising spots at a premium, they may purchase older content at a lower price, which is a safe, known quantity, that would attract a given audience share. Even if the ad slot is limited, the owners of the channel do not want to risk spending money on the unknown content due to the costs associated with the unknown content and the fact that they charge for their services. If they are marketable companies they need to create performance for stakeholders and thus risk potential or desire is greatly reduced. If the artist has actually obtained the distribution, he or she may typically produce an almost zero return because the company would justify the cost of profit being used to market the work. On the other hand, if the content is popular, the artist may get a better return, but typically on the next item they authored and then only negotiations can be made with support from the previous history.
(D1) The procedure according to the invention is very different from the above procedure. Assuming that the artist has undergone the authoring process and has now completed the content ready for distribution or broadcast, the artist may submit such completed content at the lowest cost and the content then undergo the review process in accordance with the present invention, as described above. If the content is capable of being broadcast all the way, it may have been reviewed by not less than 24-30 industry professionals. None of these professionals are involved in any money, none of them are involved in any reputation, nor are they aware of anything about the content creator. The name is reduced to the code and the reviewer name is reduced to the code, and the reviewer may be required to make notes on the content, but other reviewers may not be able to access the notes. Thus, all aspects of the review process are blind and independent. In addition, the age, race, gender, social status, and authoring tracking records are also blind to everyone during the review process. This means that no agent or broker is required to open the door, no younger and fresh is required, and no slim and attractive is required. All that is required is quality content. In addition, an artist desiring to create a long movie (most costly to complete) may submit a trailer for review. If the trailer passes through the process all the way to the broadcast, the present invention provides that it can run on the trailer channel to be of interest. In addition, the system may allow viewers of trailers to invest in movies, such as by crowd funding. One aspect of the invention allows an artist to fund to continue an item, such as by issuing a broadcast intent book to the artist based on the quality of the trailer submitted.
(E) Monetization of authored content: in the current environment, those who compose content, whether movies, TV, or music or other content, have a knowledge that those who compose get the smallest portion of funds produced by the composed content. The distribution company has a huge overhead (as described above) and makes use of this reasoning to justify the minimal part of the content creator. Distribution and advertising can be very expensive because there is no way to actually know how to find the viewer. Thus, the distribution company considers that they are taking the greatest financial risk.
(E1) According to the present invention, the space or location for distribution and broadcasting is unlimited due to the scalability of the format. As a streaming service, channels are allowed to be added at minimal or relatively low cost when needed. Due to the non-traditional marketing according to the invention, the costs are significantly lower than in traditional forms of marketing. The process of the present invention does not require excessive fees to be charged because good content itself attracts viewers. Charging no charge for the quality attracts viewers, which increases advertising rates, which in turn generates more revenue for the content creator. Good content that attracts ratings also attracts advertisers. Thus, the system of the present invention allows each of the three external components, namely (1) artist, (2) audience, and (3) advertiser, to support the other components while benefiting from the other components.
Claims (41)
1. A system for handling media content, the system comprising a central server that performs
A plurality of functions and processes, each of which is guided by computer programming inserted into the central server, thereby establishing a functional platform that allows a content creator to pay fees and submit a piece of content for review by an employee of the platform to consider at least one registered user placed on the platform and ultimately broadcast to the platform for viewing,
placed on the platform and broadcast, wherein at least 50% of revenue generated from advertising sales is paid to the content creator;
the system provides a free policy for registering and accessing the platform to enable the user,
a) A set of preprogrammed channels broadcasting the content and advertisements are watched,
b) Accessing a content library to self-select streaming content for viewing, and
c) Downloading content from a content library through a free download policy to have the content free;
the system provides advertisers with the following permissions: the platform is utilized by placing advertisements and accessing the exact number of users viewing the advertisements as they are broadcast in real time along with accessing a data file of specific information related to each user viewing the advertisements, including age, gender, and zip code, which are the data required by the user to join the platform, that is accessible through the advertiser platform account.
2. The system for handling media content as recited in claim 1, comprising three advanced review levels, each advanced review level having a plurality of employee members, each employee member independently reviewing and qualitatively evaluating material from the secure data center.
3. The system for handling media content of claim 1, comprising the further step of: each time each piece of content is broadcast in a particular broadcast content chunk, the length of the content is recorded and the amount of advertising revenue paid by the advertiser to the system in relation to all advertisements broadcast in that particular broadcast content chunk is calculated to determine the payment amount to be paid to the content creator whose content was broadcast in that particular broadcast content chunk.
4. The system for handling media content according to claim 1, wherein registered users of the system are able to download content to a personal computer or device free of charge from the content library on the central server while generating revenue for the content creator from advertisements embedded in the content.
5. The system for handling media content of claim 4, further wherein content creators as dramas are able to place their written works in the transcript portion of the content library using anonymous ID codes associated with the creators, thereby allowing agents, brokers, producers, and directors to search the content library for premium scripts, but not to copy or download content, interests in the scripts being directed to the platform to obtain contact information for the anonymous content creators.
6. The system for handling media content according to claim 4, further comprising a user of the platform downloading visual art content including photographs, drawings, or computer generated images for free to own the content while generating revenue for the content creator.
7. The system for handling media content according to claim 1, wherein after an embedded advertisement has been viewed a predetermined number of times, the advertisement is turned off or disabled by a programming code embedded with the advertisement in the content.
8. The system for handling media content of claim 7, comprising tracking content downloaded by a registered user as it is shared with another device, and verifying whether the second device is registered with the platform before allowing the content to play, and if not, the second device will be directed to the platform for registration by a prompt.
9. The system for handling media content as recited in claim 1, wherein an advertiser can utilize statistical analysis of users viewing the advertiser's current advertisement on the platform and specific information of the users independent of personal identity in future advertising policies.
10. The system for handling media content according to claim 1, wherein the creator of the dance action can monetize the form of authored content in the same manner as the creator of other types of content.
11. The system for handling media content of claim 1, wherein authoring content submitted to the platform does not require a pre-acquisition cost in terms of the platform.
12. The system for handling media content as recited in claim 1, wherein the user of the platform can aggregate content blocks and consume the assembled content blocks at a time convenient to the user.
13. The system for handling media content as recited in claim 1, wherein content chunks have locations in a daily broadcast timeline that are rotated forward in the timeline at the same time each day, individual content within each content chunk also being rotated forward each day.
14. The system for handling media content of claim 1, further comprising the capability of: broadcasting capability is increased or decreased daily by the process of increasing or decreasing channels on the platform to accommodate the amount of authored content submitted and accepted for broadcasting.
15. The system for handling media content as recited in claim 1, comprising creating additional channels, each for a particular genre of content, further having a series of content length specific channels.
16. The system for handling media content as recited in claim 1, wherein registered users of the platform are able to contact content creators in a direct manner through their personal user accounts.
17. The system for handling media content according to claim 1, wherein a user of the platform can choose to vote on the most favored content viewed, wherein the highest-voted content can be given a premium and a future replay opportunity.
18. The system for handling media content as recited in claim 1, wherein a user can save commercials that are deemed interesting to a personal account, request information related to the advertisement from an advertiser, and receive information from the advertiser from the personal account of the user on the system.
19. The system of claim 1, further comprising calculating a run length of a piece of content available for free download to determine a number of times an advertisement embedded in the content will be played before being turned off by a program code embedded in the content.
20. The system for handling media content as recited in claim 1, wherein a user of the system is able to directly contact a content creator by way of a personal user account to a personal user account of the content creator.
21. A system for handling media content, the system comprising a central server executing a plurality of functions and processes, each of which is guided by computer programming inserted into the central server, thereby establishing a functional platform that allows a content creator to upload a piece of content to one portion of the platform, pay for a fee, review the content by an employee of the platform, whereby if the submitted content passes a multiple platform employee review station, the content is moved to another portion of the platform where a user can access the content for viewing through a plurality of platform functions: on a plurality of preprogrammed channels; in a content library that streams user-selected content; and media devices downloadable from the content library to the user.
22. A system for handling media content, the system comprising a central server executing programming inserted into the central server to build a functional platform that provides a user with a free policy for registering and accessing the platform, the user can download content stored in a library to own the content through a free download policy, the user downloading free content creating an revenue stream for an creator of the downloaded content from an advertisement embedded in the content.
23. The system of claim 22, further comprising embedding an advertisement in content accompanied by an embedded program code, the code determining when the advertisement is closed once the program has determined that a predetermined number of advertisement views have occurred.
24. A system for handling media content, the system comprising a central server performing a plurality of functions and processes, all guided by computer programming inserted into the central server, to build a functional platform that allows users to join and access the platform for free,
a submitted piece of content is allowed to go through the review process and, if accepted, is moved to a content library that provides the content to users of the platform for download and possession by free download policies in exchange for viewing advertisements embedded in the content,
allowing the content to be further embedded with programming code specific to counting the number of times the advertisement has been viewed, and when a predetermined number of views has been reached, hiding the advertisement when the user views the content on the device in the future,
Advertisers are allowed to pay the platform an amount of revenue for embedding their advertisements into this piece of free downloaded content, the amount of revenue being distributed between the content creator and the platform, at least 50% of the revenue being attributed to the content creator.
25. The method of claim 24 wherein the computer code embedded in a piece of content with an advertisement tracks the number of times the content was played and identifies when the content was shared to a second media device, at which time the computer code reopens the advertisement for viewing a predetermined number of times on the second media device and then re-closes the advertisement.
26. The system of claim 25, wherein the embedded computer determines when the content is shared to the second media device, whether the second media device is registered with the platform, and if not, displays a notification on the device to instruct a user of the device to register with the platform to view the content on the device.
27. The system of claim 26 wherein when the second device registers with the platform, the embedded computer code notifies the platform that a piece of content downloaded by another user is now on the second device, and then the platform records the number of advertisement views that this particular downloaded and transferred piece of content needs to be ad-free on the second device and places this information into the advertiser's platform account to specify additional views and additional revenue to be charged to the advertiser and additional revenue to be paid to the creator of the content transferred to the second device.
28. A system for handling media content, the system comprising a central server performing a plurality of functions and processes, all guided by computer programming inserted into the central server, thereby establishing a functional platform that allows advertisers the ability to access a continuously updated data report on the number of users viewing an advertisement of the advertiser while broadcasting the advertisement in real time, along with accessing user data files including age, gender and postal code-independent specific user information related to each user viewing the advertisement,
the user data file information is required for the user to register with the platform, which then assigns the user a personal user ID code, which is required to be entered each time the user accesses the platform.
29. A system for handling media content, the system comprising a central server executing a plurality of functions and processes, each of which is guided by computer programming inserted into the central server, thereby establishing a functional platform that allows an employee of the platform to perform a review process on a submitted piece of content to determine whether the content is to be accepted for broadcast and viewable by a user of the platform,
The review process is configured such that personal information of a content creator, although always attached to the content, is converted during the review process into an anonymous ID code, which is a uniquely identifiable marking available to at least one employee reviewing the content,
the individual identity of the employee reviewer is converted to an anonymous ID during the review process, so as to be anonymous to other employee reviewers,
the review process allows each piece of content to be transferred through multiple review station levels, each employee reviewer at each station level of the review process does not know the name of the content's creator nor the name of the previous employee reviewer, the anonymity of the content creator and employee reviewer eliminates from the process potential bias based on the content creator's name, age, race, or gender,
when content that is reviewed and approved for addition to the platform for broadcast is cataloged on the central server and visually provided to users, the content converts the content creator's ID back to their name.
30. The system for handling media content according to claim 29, wherein the submission of the content is through an internet website, and further comprising a process by which a content creator pays a fee for review of the content, the review process utilizing a particular portion of programming software on the computer or server.
31. The system for handling media content according to claim 29, further comprising a process of making a final opportunity review of content that was not accepted after the preliminary reviews if the reviewed content reaches a minimum acceptable score in the preliminary multi-level review.
32. The system for handling media content according to claim 29, wherein unselected content receives written feedback from the aggregated platform employee reviewers 'notes based on the platform's multi-level review process.
33. The system of claim 29, wherein the system aggregates the review notes for each employee reviewer for monthly performance assessment.
34. A system for handling media content, the system comprising a central server that performs a plurality of functions and processes, all guided by computer programming inserted into the central server, to create a functional platform that allows content creators that have submitted content to the platform for addition to the platform for viewing by users to share revenue streams generated by the platform through selling broadcast play times to advertisers and then broadcasting advertisers' advertisements, the content having passed a review process, the platform retaining no more than 50% of the total revenue that the advertising main pays to the platform to broadcast its advertisements, and the content creators retaining at least 50% of the total revenue that the advertising main pays to the platform to broadcast their advertisements.
35. A system for handling media content, the system comprising a central server that performs a plurality of functions and processes, all guided by computer programming inserted into the central server, to build a functional platform that allows a user of the platform to have the ability to select from a number of preprogrammed channels, a user accessing the platform and viewing content from a broadcast center on one of the number of preprogrammed channels can select an icon on a media viewing device and switch to a content library to view the content from scratch, and mark the content on a personal library account for later viewing, or selectively download the content free of charge.
36. A system for handling media content, the system comprising a central server that performs a plurality of functions and processes, all guided by computer programming inserted into the central server, thereby establishing a functional platform that allows:
1) Content creators with or without performance or history of authoring broadcast quality content submit content to the platform by establishing accounts using personally-independent specific information including age, gender and zip code,
The system then generates a user ID code, which is appended to each piece of content uploaded by the creator to the submitting portion of the platform,
the platform employee reviews the submitted content via a multi-level blind review process, wherein during the review process, the content creator is identifiable only by the user ID code,
the employee reviewer is identifiable only by the personal ID code, and the review process eliminates bias based on the age, race, gender, or reputation of the content creator;
2) This piece of content that has passed the review process and moved to the broadcast portion of the platform is cataloged into the system where it can be accessed for viewing by a user through a plurality of platform functions:
on a plurality of preprogrammed channels;
in a content library that streams user-selected content; and media devices downloadable from the content library to the user;
3) The set of channels for broadcasting the content can increase or decrease the number of channels as the subject class of the content and the amount of the content expand or shrink;
4) A process of progressively rotating content blocks forward on a 24-hour clock and additionally progressively rotating content within each content block forward, allowing all pieces of content within each content block to have been played at each time period of 24 hours at the end of a 28-day rotation period;
5) A process of paying a content creator for at least 50% of total advertising sales revenue generated by advertisements broadcast within a content chunk in which the content of the content creator is placed;
6) Embedding an advertisement in content downloaded from a free content library, the advertisement being closed after being watched a set number of times, programming code also embedded in the content placing the advertisement in a hidden mode when the advertisement has been watched a predetermined number of times, the embedded advertisement allowing the user of the platform to download the downloaded content free of charge while generating revenue for the content creator;
7) Requiring a user joining the platform to establish a personal user account by entering age, gender and zip code, the platform using the entered user data to generate a personal user ID code that the user must use each time he accesses the system; and is also provided with
8) The process of identifying the exact number of users viewing each advertisement as it is broadcast on each channel by tracking the user's ID code and making this information accessible to the owners of the advertisements while their advertisements are being broadcast in real time, as well as personal identity-independent specific information including age, gender and zip code of the users viewing the advertisements.
37. The system for handling media content according to claim 36, comprising a revenue sharing model, and the revenue sharing model calculates advertising revenue collected from broadcast advertisements placed into a chunk of content, divides the total revenue amount by the number of minutes within a particular broadcast content chunk, allocates a dollar amount per minute for the broadcast content chunk, and pays more than 50% of the revenue to each content creator based on the number of minutes that the content creator's content was broadcast in that content chunk.
38. The system for handling media content as recited in claim 1, wherein in one embodiment the central server is defined as a set of integrated computer components comprising a set of networked servers connected to the internet via a core router balanced by hardware load balancers and software to receive network traffic from around the world; the filtering is performed with a firewall and the network packets are transmitted via the backbone router and leaf router and then stored and processed on the high-computation flexible node server.
39. The system for handling media content of claim 1, wherein in one embodiment the computer programming is defined as readable programming code developed on a set of programs comprising: iOS development software programs, android development software programs, network operation management software programs, and version control software programs.
40. The system for handling media content according to claim 34, wherein the rights structure of the relationship between the content creator and distributor is reversed because the platform is able to expand the distribution volume at will, requiring more content, giving the content greater importance and giving the content creator more control.
41. The system for handling media content according to claim 24, wherein the software code performs a number of functions, some of which require additional expertise algorithms, one example of such a function being the ability to self-delete advertisements in the downloaded content, wherein advanced algorithms facilitate self-deletion of the advertisements after being viewed a predetermined number of times.
