本发明涉及热熔胶组合物、胶带以及胶带的制造方法。
背景技术
在基材上涂布含有苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物和增粘剂等的粘合剂而成的胶带被应用于各种用途。
另外,作为基材,无纺布为多孔体显示出消音性,此外以抗拉强度为代表的机械强度优异,并且价格低廉,因此被广泛用作胶带基材。

发明内容
发明要解决的问题
另一方面,由于无纺布是多孔的,所以涂布液会流到基材背面,因此溶剂系粘合剂或水系粘合剂的粘度低,难以直接涂布。因此考虑使用粘度较高的热熔胶直接涂布于基材的方法。
但是,在无纺布等凹凸较大的多孔基材上涂布热熔胶时,虽然粘合剂不会流到基材背面,但粘合剂涂覆面变得凹凸,粘合剂与被粘物的接触面积变小,因此粘合力和保持力无法充分显示。
为解决该问题,例如考虑增加粘合剂的厚度,但为了获得必要的粘合特性,需要将粘合剂涂布到约2倍以上,有损效率。此外胶带本身的重量变大,操作性变差。为了解决该问题,需要提高粘合剂本身的粘合性和保持力,以使在粘合剂的接触面积小的情况下也能够获得必要的粘合特性。
粘合力越强与被粘物的粘附越好,但若过强,则卷绕成带状时难以将基材放出。
为了减小返卷力,可以在基材背面涂布剥离剂,但在无纺布这种多孔基材上涂布剥离剂,必须涂布例如使剥离剂溶解于甲苯等有机溶剂而成的剥离剂溶液,由于溶液粘度低,所以与上述涂布粘合剂的情况相同,存在溢流到基材的问题。
因此,需要一种不需要剥离剂,可与被粘物良好贴附并显示出适当粘合力和保持力的粘合剂。
本发明是鉴于上述问题而进行的,提供一种使用多孔基材时对被粘物显示出适当粘合力和保持力的热熔胶组合物。
用于解决问题的方案
根据本发明,提供一种热熔胶组合物,其含有苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物、增粘剂以及增塑剂,所述苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物为苯乙烯-丁二烯嵌段共聚物,丁二烯部分被部分氢化,相对于所述苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物100质量份含有所述增粘剂65~190质量份,含有所述增塑剂0.1~24质量份。
以下例示本发明的各种实施方式。以下示出的实施方式可相互组合。
优选所述增粘剂为石油树脂。
优选所述石油树脂为选自C5石油树脂、C5C9石油树脂和氢化C9石油树脂中的至少一者。
优选所述增塑剂为DINA(己二酸二异壬酯)。
根据另一观点,本发明提供一种胶带,其具备多孔基材和设置在所述多孔基材上的粘合剂层,所述粘合剂层含有上記热熔胶组合物。
优选基于JISZ0237“10.粘合力”测得的粘合力为1.5N/cm以上,基于JISZ0237“13.保持力”测得的保持力为10min以上。
根据另一观点,本发明提供一种上述胶带的制造方法,其包括采用非接触涂覆方式将所述热熔胶组合物涂覆在所述基材上的工序。
具体实施方式
以下对本发明的实施方式进行说明。以下所示的实施方式中示出的各种特征事项可以相互组合。另外,各特征事项独立构成发明。
1、热熔胶组合物
本发明的一个实施方式所涉及的热熔胶组合物含有苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物、增粘剂和增塑剂。
(苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物)
苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物为苯乙烯-丁二烯嵌段共聚物,丁二烯部分被部分氢化。作为丁二烯部分被部分氢化的苯乙烯-丁二烯嵌段共聚物,可举出苯乙烯-丁二烯-丁烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SBBS)。
苯乙烯-丁二烯嵌段共聚物的丁二烯部分优选20质量%~90质量%被氢化,更优选30质量%~80质量%被氢化。
苯乙烯-丁二烯嵌段共聚物的重均分子量没有特别限定,例如优选为3万~50万,更优选为6万~30万。重均分子量可采用凝胶渗透色谱(GPC)法求出。
苯乙烯-丁二烯嵌段共聚物的苯乙烯含量优选为5~50质量%,更优选为10~40质量%。在这样的范围内,可对被粘物显示出适当的粘合力和保持力。苯乙烯含量可采用JISK6383中记载的方法测定。
所述苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物可使用1种作为粘合剂,也可优选将苯乙烯含量或重均分子量不同的2种以上混合使用。即通过将2种以上的苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物并用,能够例如降低涂覆粘合剂时的溶融粘度,能够将涂覆时的粘度控制在容易加工的程度,因此优选使用。另外,若将2种以上的苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物并用,则在粘合特性方面以及可调整粘合剂的粘合力和保持力的方面也优选。
(增粘剂)
增粘剂没有特别限定,优选为石油树脂。作为石油树脂,例如可举出C9石油树脂、氢化C9石油树脂、C5石油树脂、脂环族系石油树脂、脂环族/芳香族系石油树脂、萜烯系樹脂、松香系樹脂、松香酯系樹脂、萜烯-酚樹脂、烷基酚樹脂等。其中,石油树脂优选为选自C5石油树脂、C5C9石油树脂和氢化C9石油树脂中的至少一者。另外,最优选氢化C9石油树脂。其理由是,在室外使用胶带时,也可以减小暴露于直射阳光(紫外线)引起的劣化。
相对于苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物100质量份,优选含有增粘剂65~190质量份,更优选含有80~150质量份,进一步优选含有100~150质量份。通过为这样的范围,可显示出对被粘物适当的粘合力和保持力。该增粘剂的含量具体例如为65、70、75、80、85、90、95、100、105、110、115、120、125、130、135、140、145、150、155、160、165、170、175、180、185、190质量份,也可以是这里例示数值中任意2个数值之间的范围内。
(增塑剂)
本发明的一个实施方式所涉及的热熔胶组合物含有增塑剂。热熔胶组合物相对于苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物100质量份含有增塑剂0.1~24质量份,优选含有1~20质量份,更优选含有5~15质量份。
另外,作为增塑剂,邻苯二甲酸酯系的增塑剂与苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物的相溶性良好,少量即可得到增塑效果,因而优选。作为邻苯二甲酸酯系的增塑剂,可举出DINA(己二酸二异壬酯)、DEHP(邻苯二甲酸二-(2-乙基己基)酯)、DBP(邻苯二甲酸二丁酯)、BBP(邻苯二甲酸丁基苄酯)、DINP(邻苯二甲酸二异壬酯)、DIDP(邻苯二甲酸二异癸酯)、DNOP(邻苯二甲酸二正辛酯)。但是,除DINA以外的邻苯二甲酸酯可能适用REACH(Registration,Evaluation,Authorization,and Restriction of Chemicals)等规定,因此在使用时要注意,但DINA不适用这些规定,因此可优选使用。
(添加剤)
本发明的一个实施方式所涉及的热熔胶组合物根据需要在不损害本发明效果的范围内可含有无机填充剂、改性剂、稳定剂、抗氧化剂、紫外线吸收剂等各种添加剂。
2.胶带
本发明的一个实施方式所涉及的胶带具备多孔基材和设置在多孔基材上的粘合剂层。
基于JISZ0237“10.粘合力”测得的胶带的粘合力优选为1.5N/cm以上,更优选为2.0N/cm以上。粘合力优选为8N/cm以下,更优选为6N/cm以下。通过为这样的范围,对被粘物的粘附良好,并且容易将卷绕成带状的基材放出。
基于JISZ0237“13.保持力”测得的胶带的保持力优选为10min以上,更优选为20min以上。保持力优选为100min以下,更优选为80min以下。通过为这样的范围,可具有足够的保持力,并且卷绕成带状后容易处理。
(多孔基材)
多孔基材只要是由多孔材料构成的基材就没有特别限制,无纺布因其以抗拉强度为代表的机械强度优异且价格低廉而优选。
(粘合剂层)
粘合剂层含有上記热熔胶组合物。粘合剂层的单位面积含量没有特别限定,例如为10~100g/m2。若该单位面积含量过少,则有时粘合性不充分,若过多,则有时涂覆性能变差。
3.胶带的制造方法
本发明的一个实施方式所涉及的胶带的制造方法包括将上述热熔胶组合物涂覆在基材上的工序。
涂覆方法没有特别限定,优选将粘合剂的原料加热,熔融、混炼后采用热熔方式涂布,更优选采用非接触涂覆方式涂覆。
作为非接触涂覆的例子,可举出交叉涂布机(ITW Dynatech公司制)。通常对无纺布等基材直接涂覆粘合剂时,会发生粘合剂渗入基材,粘合特性大幅度降低。若使用交叉涂布机(cross coater),则在无纺布上涂覆粘合剂时,可抑制粘合剂渗入,因此不易发生粘合特性降低,因而优选。
实施例
以下举出实施例进一步详细说明本发明。另外,这些实施例均为例示,并不限定本发明的内容。
采用非接触涂覆方式在表1和表2中记载的基材上按60g/m2的单位面积含量涂覆粘合剂组合物,形成粘合剂层,由此制作评价用的胶带。作为粘合剂组合物,如表1所示,相对于苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物100添加增粘剂、增塑剂(DINA、新日本理化株式会社制的SANSOCIZER DINA)、抗氧化剂(BASF制的Irganox 1010)、紫外线吸收剂(BASF制的TINUVINP),在150℃混炼,得到熔融状态的粘合剂,使用交叉涂布机涂覆,得到粘合剂层。应予说明,缝编无纺布为多孔基材,PET膜为非多孔基材。

<胶带的返卷>
对于胶带的返卷,将涂布有粘合剂的基材卷绕于直径3英寸的纸管后,切成20mm宽,得到胶带卷绕体,按下述基准判断能否用手从胶带卷绕体抽出胶带基材。将其结果示于表1和表2。
○:可拉出。
×:拉拽时需要的力大且未能拉出。
<SUS粘合力>
按照JISZ0237“10.粘合力”,测定对SUS板的180°剥离粘合力。将其结果示于表1和表2。
<保持力>
按照JISZ0237“13.保持力”测定。被粘物使用SUS板,胶带的粘附面积为25mm×25mm。在测定温度60℃、负荷1kg的条件下测定直到重物开始下落的时间。将其结果示于表1和表2。

Claims (7)

1.一种热熔胶组合物,其含有苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物、增粘剂和增塑剂,
所述苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物为苯乙烯-丁二烯嵌段共聚物,丁二烯部分被部分氢化,
相对于所述苯乙烯系嵌段共聚物100质量份,含有所述增粘剂65~190质量份,含有所述增塑剂0.1~24质量份。
2.根据权利要求1所述的热熔胶组合物,其中,所述增粘剂为石油树脂。
3.根据权利要求2所述的热熔胶组合物,其中,所述石油树脂为选自C5石油树脂、C5C9石油树脂、和氢化C9石油树脂中的至少一者。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的热熔胶组合物,其中,所述增塑剂为DINA(己二酸二异壬酯)。
5.一种胶带,其具备多孔基材和设置在所述多孔基材上的粘合剂层,
所述粘合剂层含有权利要求1至4中任一项所述的热熔胶组合物。
6.根据权利要求5所述的胶带,其中,
基于JIS Z0237“10.粘合力”测得的粘合力为1.5N/cm以上,
基于JIS Z0237“13.保持力”测得的保持力为10min以上。
7.权利要求5或6所述的胶带的制造方法,其包括如下工序:
采用非接触涂覆方式将所述热熔胶组合物涂覆于所述基材上。
