Abstract
The display panel and the display device provided by the embodiment of the disclosure include: a sub-pixel including an effective light emitting region; the reflecting layer is positioned on the light emitting side of the sub-pixel and comprises a through hole exposing at least part of the effective light emitting area; and the optical film is arranged on one side of the reflecting layer, which is deviated from the light emergent side of the sub-pixel, and the light transmittance of the optical film is more than 50%. Because the reflective layer can go out the ambient light enhancement nature reflection that sees through the blooming, consequently can strengthen the white effect of display product to combine together with the surrounding environment, improve visual experience. Moreover, the reflecting layer is provided with the through holes in the effective light emitting areas of the sub-pixels, so that the light transmittance of emergent light of the sub-pixels is ensured, and the overall display brightness of the display device is improved.
Description
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of display technologies, and in particular, to a display panel and a display device.
Background
With the continuous development of display technology, white displays have appeared in order to match the white color of surrounding environments such as cover plates, wall surfaces, etc., and to improve visual experience. Specifically, the white display includes a general display, and a transflective film (i.e., a multilayer film reflective polarizer) or an aluminum film disposed on a cover plate of the general display. Emergent rays of the common display penetrate through the semi-transparent and semi-reflective film or the aluminum film, and picture display can be realized; however, after the ambient light is reflected by the semi-transparent and semi-reflective film or the aluminum film, only the silvery white effect with metal texture can be achieved, and a certain color difference is still formed between the ambient light and the white color of the surrounding environment.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of this, the present disclosure provides a display panel and a display device, so as to enhance the white effect of the display and improve the visual experience.
Therefore, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a display panel, including:
a sub-pixel including an effective light emitting region;
the reflecting layer is positioned on the light emitting side of the sub-pixel and comprises a through hole for exposing at least part of the effective light emitting area;
and the optical film is arranged on one side of the reflecting layer, which deviates from the light emergent side of the sub-pixels, and the light transmittance of the optical film is greater than 50%.
Optionally, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the thickness of the optical film is 30 μm to 50 μm.
Optionally, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the optical film material includes polyester.
Optionally, in the display panel provided in this disclosure, the through hole exposes 60% to 70% of the effective light emitting area.
Optionally, in the display panel provided in this disclosure, a material of the reflective layer includes at least one of aluminum, silver, titanium, and platinum.
Optionally, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the sub-pixel includes a light emitting device, and the display panel further includes an encapsulation layer located on a light emitting side of the sub-pixel;
the reflective layer is located between the encapsulation layer and the optical film.
Optionally, in the display panel provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, a protective cover plate located on a side of the optical film away from the reflective layer is further included, and a first adhesive layer is located between the optical film and the protective cover plate.
Optionally, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the sub-pixel includes a liquid crystal layer, and the display panel further includes a protective cover plate located on a light emitting side of the sub-pixel;
the reflective layer is positioned between the protective cover sheet and the optical film.
Optionally, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure, a second adhesive layer is further included between the optical film and the reflective layer.
Based on the same inventive concept, the embodiment of the present disclosure further provides a display device, which includes the display panel.
The beneficial effects of this disclosure are as follows:
the display panel and the display device provided by the embodiment of the disclosure include: a sub-pixel including an effective light emitting region; the reflecting layer is positioned on the light emitting side of the sub-pixel and comprises a through hole exposing at least part of the effective light emitting area; and the optical film is arranged on one side of the reflecting layer, which is deviated from the light emergent side of the sub-pixel, and the light transmittance of the optical film is more than 50%. Because the reflective layer can go out the ambient light enhancement nature reflection that sees through the blooming, consequently can strengthen the white effect of display product to combine together with the surrounding environment, improve visual experience. Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present disclosure more apparent, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present disclosure will be described clearly and completely with reference to the drawings of the embodiments of the present disclosure. It should be noted that the sizes and shapes of the various figures in the drawings are not to scale, but are merely intended to illustrate the present disclosure. And the same or similar reference numerals denote the same or similar elements or elements having the same or similar functions throughout.
Unless defined otherwise, technical or scientific terms used herein shall have the ordinary meaning as understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this disclosure belongs. The use of "first," "second," and similar terms in the description and claims does not indicate any order, quantity, or importance, but rather is used to distinguish one element from another. As shown in fig. 1 to 4, a display panel provided in an embodiment of the present disclosure may include:
a sub-pixel (including but not limited to a red sub-pixel R, a green sub-pixel G, and a blue sub-pixel B) including an effective light emitting area K;
the reflecting layer 101 is positioned on the light emitting side of the sub-pixel, and the reflecting layer 101 comprises a through hole H which exposes at least part of the effective light emitting area K; illustratively, the through holes H may correspond to the sub-pixels one to one, and each through hole H exposes at least a part of the effective light emitting area K of the corresponding sub-pixel;
and the optical film 102 is arranged on the side of the reflection layer 101, which faces away from the light-emitting side of the sub-pixel, for example, the optical film 102 can be arranged on the side of the reflection layer 101, which faces away from the light-emitting side of the sub-pixel, and the light transmittance of the optical film 102 is greater than 50%.
In the display panel provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, since the reflective layer 101 can reflect the ambient light transmitted through the optical film 102 out in an enhanced manner, the white effect of the display product can be enhanced to be integrated with the surrounding environment, thereby improving the visual experience. Moreover, the reflecting layer 101 is provided with the through hole H in the effective light emitting area K of the sub-pixel, so that the light transmittance of the emergent light of the sub-pixel is ensured, and the overall display brightness of the display device is improved.
In some embodiments, in the display panel provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, in order to achieve both light transmittance and white effect, the thickness of the optical film 102 may be 30 μm to 50 μm, for example, 30 μm, 35 μm, 40 μm, 45 μm, 50 μm, and the like.
In some embodiments, in the above display panel provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure, in order to effectively improve the white effect, the material of the optical film 102 may include polyester. Illustratively, the polyester may be selected from a white PET material that has inherently better clarity and lower haze.
In some embodiments, in the above display panel provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure, in order to improve the overall display brightness of the display device, the through hole H of the reflective layer 101 may expose 60% to 70%, for example, 60%, 61%, 62%, 63%, 64%, 65%, 66%, 67%, 68%, 69%, 70%, and the like, of the effective light emitting region K of the sub-pixel.
In some embodiments, in the above display panel provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure, in order to effectively improve the white effect, the material of the reflective layer 101 may include at least one of aluminum (Al), silver (Ag), titanium (Ti), and platinum (Pt) having high reflectivity for all-band light.
In some embodiments, in the above display panel provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 2, the sub-pixel may include a light emitting device 103, and in this case, the display panel may further include an encapsulation layer 104 on the light emitting side of the sub-pixel; the reflective layer 101 may be positioned between the encapsulation layer 104 and the optical film 102, that is, the present disclosure may sequentially dispose the reflective layer 101 and the optical film 102 above the encapsulation layer 104 included in the related art OLED display panel. With the arrangement, a mask process for manufacturing the reflective layer 101 can be added to a conventional OLED process, so that continuity of product design can be ensured, stability of a factory process end can be ensured, and cost required by upgrading and improving products can be reduced. In addition, the display device has the advantages of flexibility, lightness, thinness, shapeability and the like.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2, the light emitting device 103 may include a first electrode 1031, a light emitting function layer 1032, and a second electrode 1033, wherein the first electrode 1031 is electrically connected to the transistor TFT, and the second electrode 1033 may be disposed over the entire surface. In some embodiments, the first electrode 1031 may be an anode and the second electrode 1033 may be a cathode, or the first electrode 1031 may be a cathode and the second electrode 1033 may be an anode. The light emitting function layer 1032 may include a light emitting material layer, a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, and an electron blocking layer sequentially disposed on a side of the first electrode 1031 facing the light emitting material layer, and an electron injection layer, an electron transport layer, and a hole blocking layer sequentially disposed on a side of the second electrode 1033 facing the light emitting material layer. The transistor TFT may be a Low Temperature Polysilicon (LTPS) transistor, an Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO) transistor, an amorphous silicon (a-si) transistor, or the like, which is not limited herein. The encapsulation layer 104 may include a first inorganic encapsulation layer 1041, an organic encapsulation layer 1042, and a second inorganic encapsulation layer 1043, which are stacked.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2, the area where the light emitting device 103 is located in the sub-pixel may be defined by the pixel defining layer 105, and specifically, the pixel defining layer 105 includes a plurality of openings K ', and the area where the openings K' are located is the effective light emitting area K of the sub-pixel. In addition, the light emitting material layers in the film layers of the light emitting device 103 can be separated by the support layer 106 to avoid poor color mixing between different light emitting devices 103.
In some embodiments, in the display panel provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 2, a protective cover 107 located on a side of the optical film 102 facing away from the reflective layer 101, a first adhesive layer 108 located between the optical film 102 and the protective cover 107, and a second adhesive layer 109 located between the optical film 102 and the reflective layer 101 may be further included, so that the optical film 102 and the protective cover 107 are fixed by the first adhesive layer 108, and the optical film 102 and the reflective layer 101 are fixed by the second adhesive layer 109. In some embodiments, the material of the first adhesive layer 108 and the second adhesive layer 109 may be Optical Clear Adhesive (OCA), and the material of the protective cover plate 107 may be glass or a film.
In some embodiments, in the above display panel provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 4, the sub-pixel may include a liquid crystal layer 110, and in this case, the display panel may further include a protective cover 107 located on a light emitting side of the sub-pixel, the reflective layer 101 may be located between the protective cover 107 and the optical film 102, and the optical film 102 may be fixed on the reflective layer 101 through a second adhesive layer 109 located between the optical film 102 and the reflective layer 101, that is, the present disclosure may sequentially dispose the reflective layer 101, the second adhesive layer 109, and the optical film 102 above the protective cover 107 included in the LCD display panel of the related art. With the arrangement, a mask process for manufacturing the reflective layer 101 can be added to the conventional LCD process, so that the continuity of product design can be ensured, the stability of the factory process can be ensured, and the cost required by upgrading and improving the product can be reduced.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 4, the sub-pixels may further include a pixel electrode 111, a common electrode 112, and a color resistor 113, wherein the pixel electrodes 111 of the sub-pixels are independent of each other and electrically connected to the transistor TFT, the common electrodes 112 of all the sub-pixels are an integral structure, and the color resistors 113 of the sub-pixels are independent of each other (specifically, may be separated by the black matrix 114) to achieve independent driving of the sub-pixels. Generally, as shown in fig. 4, a first alignment layer 115 and a second alignment layer 116 may be further disposed on both sides of the liquid crystal layer 110, respectively. In addition, it should be noted that fig. 4 shows that the pixel electrode 111 is located on an array (array) substrate, and the common electrode 112, the color resistor 113 and the black matrix 114 are located on a Color Filter (CF) substrate, but in a specific implementation, the pixel electrode 111 and the common electrode 112 may be simultaneously disposed on the array substrate, and the color resistor 113 and the black matrix 114 may be disposed on the color filter substrate, or the pixel electrode 111, the common electrode 112, the color resistor 113 and the black matrix 114 may be simultaneously disposed on the array substrate, which is not limited herein.
Generally, as shown in fig. 2 and 4, the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present disclosure may further include: a first substrate 117, a gate insulating layer 118, an interlayer dielectric layer 119, a first planarization layer 120, and a second planarization layer 121. Other essential components of the display panel are understood by those skilled in the art, and are not described herein or should not be construed as limiting the present disclosure.
In addition, the present disclosure also made corresponding tests on the OLED display panel shown in fig. 5, and the specific data are shown in the following table, wherein the aperture ratio of the through hole H is the percentage of the area of the through hole H in the area of the sub-pixel, and the Normal aperture ratio is equal to the percentage of the effective light emitting area of the sub-pixel in the area of the sub-pixel. Preliminary tests showed that the 50 μm thick white PET film had a transmittance of 56% and that the mirror brightness test of the reflective layer with a Normal aperture ratio was 654nit/1164nit 56.19%. And the following table test data shows that the overall light transmittance of the display device can reach 42% and the white degree is better under the condition that the aperture ratio of the through hole H contained in the reflective layer is 14.09% (corresponding to 65.93% of the effective light-emitting area exposed by the through hole H) and the white PET film (i.e., the optical film) is less than 50 μm.
Based on the same inventive concept, the disclosed embodiment provides a display device, which comprises the display panel provided by the disclosed embodiment. Because the principle of the display device to solve the problem is similar to that of the display panel, the display device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure may be implemented by the display panel provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, and repeated details are not repeated.
In some embodiments, the display device may be: the mobile phone, the tablet personal computer, the television, the display, the notebook computer, the digital photo frame, the navigator, the smart watch, the fitness wristband, the personal digital assistant, the smart home and other products or components with display functions. The display device may include, but is not limited to: radio frequency unit, network module, audio output & input unit, sensor, display unit, user input unit, interface unit, memory, processor, and power supply. In addition, it may be understood by those skilled in the art that the above-described structure does not constitute a limitation of the above-described display device provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure, in other words, more or less components described above may be included in the above-described display device provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure, or some components may be combined, or different component arrangements may be provided.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications can be made in the present disclosure without departing from the spirit and scope of the disclosure. Thus, if such modifications and variations of the present disclosure fall within the scope of the claims of the present disclosure and their equivalents, the present disclosure is intended to include such modifications and variations as well.
Claims (10)
1. A display panel, comprising:
a sub-pixel including an effective light emitting region;
the reflecting layer is positioned on the light emitting side of the sub-pixel and comprises a through hole for exposing at least part of the effective light emitting area;
and the optical film is arranged on one side of the reflecting layer, which deviates from the light emergent side of the sub-pixels, and the light transmittance of the optical film is greater than 50%.
2. The display panel according to claim 1, wherein the optical film has a thickness of 30 μm to 50 μm.
3. The display panel of claim 1, wherein the optical film material comprises polyester.
4. The display panel of claim 1, wherein the via exposes 60-70% of the effective light emitting area.
5. The display panel of claim 1, wherein the material of the reflective layer comprises at least one of aluminum, silver, titanium, and platinum.
6. The display panel of claim 1, wherein the subpixels comprise light emitting devices, the display panel further comprising an encapsulation layer on a light exit side of the subpixels;
the reflective layer is located between the encapsulation layer and the optical film.
7. The display panel of claim 6, further comprising a protective cover sheet on a side of the optical film facing away from the reflective layer, and a first adhesive layer between the optical film and the protective cover sheet.
8. The display panel of claim 1, wherein the subpixels comprise a liquid crystal layer, the display panel further comprising a protective cover plate on a light exit side of the subpixels;
the reflective layer is positioned between the protective cover sheet and the optical film.
9. The display panel of any one of claims 1-8, further comprising a second adhesive layer between the optical film and the reflective layer.
10. A display device characterized by comprising the display panel according to any one of claims 1 to 9.
