Detailed Description
As described above, when the terminal device performs the paging procedure, it needs to interact with the AMF first to obtain the corresponding 5G-S-TMSI as its own identification information. Therefore, the procedure required for paging by the terminal device is complicated.
In the embodiment of the invention, the current IP address of the terminal equipment is obtained, the identification information of the terminal equipment is determined according to the current IP address of the terminal equipment, and the paging frame and the paging time corresponding to the received paging message are determined according to the identification information of the terminal equipment. In the embodiment of the invention, the identification information of the terminal equipment is determined by the current IP of the terminal equipment, so that the 5G-S-TMSI is saved, and the network and related processes such as allocation and maintenance of the 5G-S-TMSI are simplified.
In order to make the aforementioned objects, features and advantages of the present invention comprehensible, embodiments accompanied with figures are described in detail below.
Step S101, acquiring the current IP address of the terminal equipment.
In a specific implementation, the current IP address of the terminal device may be previously assigned to the terminal device by the network management device. When the terminal device accesses the network, the terminal device may be assigned an IP address by a network administrator through the network management device. Typically, the IP address configured for the terminal device by the network administrator is fixed. That is, when the terminal device accesses the network, the corresponding current IP address is fixed.
For example, if the IP address assigned to the terminal device by the network administrator through the network management device is 192.168.10.11, the current IP address of the terminal device is fixed to 192.168.10.11 when the terminal device accesses the network.
In a specific implementation, the IP address of the terminal device may also be dynamically allocated. As known in the art, a current IP address may be allocated to a terminal device through a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). DHCP is a network protocol of local area network, a server controls a segment of IP address range, when the terminal equipment logs in the server, the current IP address and subnet mask distributed by the server can be automatically obtained.
When the terminal device logs in the server at different times, the corresponding current IP addresses of the terminal device can be different.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the terminal device may also send a registration request to an Access and Mobility management Function (AMF). After receiving the registration request, the AMF dynamically allocates an IP address corresponding to the terminal device, and issues a registration accept (registration accept) to the terminal device. And the terminal equipment receives the registration reception issued by the AMF, namely the IP address carried in the registration reception can be used as the current IP address of the terminal equipment.
In the existing 3GPP 5G NR network, a terminal device obtains an IP address through Session Management signaling (Session Management signaling). Specifically, the terminal device sends a PDU Session ESTABLISHMENT REQUEST to a Session Management Function (SMF), the SMF feeds back a corresponding PDU Session ESTABLISHMENT REQUEST to the terminal device after receiving the PDU Session ESTABLISHMENT REQUEST, and the PDU Session ESTABLISHMENT REQUEST carries an IP address allocated to the terminal device.
It can be understood that, in the specific implementation, there may be other methods for allocating the current IP address to the terminal device, and details of the embodiment of the present invention are not described herein.
Compared with the method for dynamically allocating the IP address to the terminal equipment through the SMF, the method for dynamically allocating the IP address to the terminal equipment allocates the IP address to the terminal equipment through the AMF without setting the SMF, so that the network structure can be simplified, and the complexity of the network equipment can be reduced.
Step S102, according to the current IP address of the terminal equipment, determining the identification information of the terminal equipment.
In a specific implementation, the current IP address of the terminal device may be used as the identification information of the terminal device, or a part of the current IP address of the terminal device may be used as the identification information of the terminal device.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the format of the current IP address of the terminal device is, for example, IPv4 format. Assuming that the current IP address of the terminal device is 192.168.10.11, the IP address is used as the identification information of the terminal device.
In practical applications, it is known that in the IPv4 format, the IP address of the terminal device includes a network address and a host address, where the high-order bits of the IP address are the network address and the low-order bits are the host address. Continuing with the example where the IP address is 192.168.10.11, 192.168 is the network address of the terminal device, and 10.11 is the host address of the terminal device.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the host address of the terminal device may be obtained from the current IP address of the terminal device, and the host address of the terminal device is used as the identification information of the terminal device. After the host address of the terminal device is acquired, a part of the host address may also be used as the identification information of the terminal device.
In specific implementation, when all or part of the current IP address of the terminal device is used as the identification information of the terminal device, all or part of the IP address may be further subjected to decimal conversion or binary conversion.
Continuing with the above example, the host address of the terminal device is selected as the identification information of the terminal device, and the host address of the terminal device is 10.11. And converting the identification information of the terminal equipment into a decimal system to obtain the identification information of the terminal equipment, which is 10 multiplied by 256 plus 11.
Step S103, according to the identification information of the terminal device, determining a paging frame and a paging occasion corresponding to the received paging message.
In a specific implementation, the terminal device resides in a corresponding serving cell. The network may send pages (paging) to terminal devices in idle (idle) and connected (connected) states. The paging procedure may be triggered by the AMF or the AP when downlink data arrives, for notifying a certain terminal device to receive a paging request. The paging process may also be triggered by the base station, and is used to notify the System of information update, and notify the terminal device to receive information such as Earthquake, Tsunami Warning System (ETWS), or Commercial Mobile Alert Service (CMAS). The purpose of paging is as follows: sending paging information to terminal equipment in an idle state; changing system information through the terminal equipment in an idle state or a connection state; informing the terminal device about the information of the ETWS main notification and the ETWS auxiliary notification; and informing the terminal equipment of the CMAS notification information.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the specific execution flow of paging may refer to the prior art.
The terminal device needs to determine a Paging Frame (PF) and a Paging Occasion (PO) for receiving a page according to its own identification information and a system message related parameter of the camped cell.
In a specific implementation, after successfully camping on a serving cell corresponding to a base station, a terminal device may determine a paging frame and a paging occasion corresponding to a paging message according to a current IP address.
In the embodiment of the invention, the identification information of the terminal equipment can be subjected to modular extraction on a system integer, and the paging frame and the paging time are determined according to the obtained modular value. The system integer may be specified by an existing standard or may be configured by the base station and broadcast via a system message. For example, the systematic integer is 1024. As another example, the system integer is 512.
Specifically, it can be seen from the foregoing embodiments of the present invention that the identification information of the terminal device is the current IP address of the terminal device, or a part of the current IP address of the terminal device. Therefore, when the identification information of the terminal device is the corresponding current IP address, the corresponding current IP address can be converted into a 10-system and a module is taken for 1024; when the identification information of the terminal device is the host address in the current IP address corresponding to the terminal device, the host address corresponding to the terminal device may be converted into 10-ary system and modulo 1024.
In the related art, the terminal device sends a registration request (registration request) to the AMF. After receiving the registration request, the AMF allocates the corresponding 5G-S-TMSI for the terminal equipment, and issues a registration accept (registration accept) to the terminal equipment. And the terminal equipment receives the registration acceptance issued by the AMF, so that the corresponding 5G-S-TMSI can be obtained, and the obtained 5G-S-TMSI is used as the corresponding identification information. And then, the terminal equipment determines a Paging Frame (PF) and a Paging Occasion (PO) for receiving Paging according to the corresponding 5G-S-TMSI and the system message related parameters of the resident cell.
In the embodiment of the invention, the identification information of the terminal equipment is determined according to the current IP address of the terminal equipment, and the IP address and the 5G-S-TMSI coexist in the current network mechanism.
In a specific implementation, the terminal device already resides in a serving cell corresponding to the base station when receiving the paging.
In a specific implementation, after acquiring the identification information, the terminal device may initiate a random access process to the base station by using the corresponding identification information. The terminal device initiates a random access process to the base station to access the network, where the purpose of accessing the network may be to establish a connection request, or to recover the connection request, or to re-establish the connection request.
The process of the terminal equipment initiating the random access to the base station can be four-step random access or two-step random access. The specific execution flow of the four-step random access and the specific execution flow of the two-step random access can both refer to the existing protocol.
Whether it is a four-step random access or a two-step random access, identification information to the terminal device needs to be used. Different from the existing protocol, the identification information of the terminal device provided in the embodiment of the present invention is different from the identification information of the terminal device in the prior art.
In the embodiment of the invention, the identification information of the terminal equipment is determined by the current IP address of the terminal equipment. In the prior art, the identification information of the terminal device is obtained by the following steps: the terminal device sends a registration request to the AMF.
Taking four-step random access as an example, the terminal device randomly selects a preamble to send on R0. After receiving the preamble sent by the terminal device, the base station sends a Random Access Response (RAR) to the terminal device, and the terminal device receives the RAR through an RA-RNTI (Random Access Radio Network TeMP2034462 order Identity). The terminal equipment uses uplink resources provided by the RAR to send msg3 to the base station, and the msg3 carries identification information of the terminal equipment. After receiving the msg3 sent by the terminal equipment, the base station feeds back corresponding msg 4; the terminal device receives msg4 using T C-RNTI (temporal C-RNTI) provided by the RAR, and the identification information of the terminal device is also included in msg 4.
In the two-step random access process, the msgA and msgB contain identification information of the terminal device.
In a specific implementation, the identification information of the terminal device may also be used for contention resolution in a random process.
Therefore, in the embodiment of the invention, the 5G-S-TMSI is omitted, so that the network and the flow related to the allocation and maintenance of the 5G-S-TMSI are simplified.
