Abstract
The invention relates to a backlight module with an improved light guide plate fixing structure, which comprises a back plate, a light guide plate and a flexible filling block, wherein the back plate comprises a bottom plate, the periphery of the bottom plate is provided with a side wall, the light guide plate is arranged in a space formed by surrounding the side wall, and the flexible filling block is arranged between the light guide plate and the side wall; the side wall is equipped with the boss towards one side of light guide plate, the boss extends to flexible filling piece top from lateral wall surface level, fixes flexible filling piece between boss and bottom plate. According to the invention, the lug boss is arranged on the side wall of the backboard, so that the flexible filling block is limited from the upper part of the flexible filling block, the flexible filling block is prevented from falling off, and the backlight structure is more stable and reliable.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of backlight structures, and in particular, to a backlight module with an improved fixing structure for a light guide plate.
Background
In the backlight structure of the display screen, a gap is usually reserved between the light guide plate and the hardware backboard, so that the light guide plate and the backboard are prevented from being mutually extruded due to thermal expansion and cold contraction. The existing structure is often provided with a silica gel pad in a gap between the light guide plate and the backboard so as to fix the light guide plate and avoid collision between the light guide plate and the backboard. This silica gel pad uses the double faced adhesive tape to paste on the backplate generally, and this kind of fixed mode is when the temperature rises, and the light guide plate is heated the inflation easily and extrudes the silica gel pad, when the pressure is greater than the adhesion force of double faced adhesive tape, can extrude the five metals backplate groove with the silica gel pad from bottom to top, leads to silica gel function inefficacy, influences backlight structure.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a backlight module with an improved fixing structure of a light guide plate, which has a stable structure and can effectively prevent a flexible filling block from being separated due to extrusion.
The backlight module comprises a back plate, a light guide plate and a flexible filling block, wherein the back plate comprises a bottom plate, a side wall is formed on the periphery of the bottom plate, the light guide plate is arranged in a space formed by surrounding the side wall, and the flexible filling block is arranged between the light guide plate and the side wall; the side wall is equipped with the boss towards one side of light guide plate, the boss extends to flexible filling piece top from lateral wall surface level, fixes flexible filling piece between boss and bottom plate.
Further, the flexible filling block is provided with an extending part towards the position, close to the bottom, of one side of the light guide plate, an avoidance groove is formed in the side face of the light guide plate, and the extending part extends into the avoidance groove, so that the extending part is fixed between the light guide plate and the bottom plate.
Further, one end of the extending portion extending into the avoidance groove extends upwards to form a first hooking portion, one end of the avoidance groove, which is close to the side wall, extends downwards to form a second hooking portion, and the first hooking portion and the second hooking portion are mutually clamped.
Further, the flexible filling blocks comprise linear filling blocks and right-angle filling blocks; the corner of the light guide plate is propped against the corner of the backboard, the linear filling block is arranged between the longer side of the light guide plate and the side wall, and the right-angle filling block is arranged between the other corner of the light guide plate and the corner of the backboard; the backboard is provided with a first boss corresponding to the linear filling block, and two vertical edges of the backboard corresponding to the right-angle filling block are respectively provided with a second boss and a third boss.
Further, the flexible filling block comprises a first filling block, a second filling block and a third filling block; the first filling block is arranged between the longer side of the light guide plate and the side wall, and the second filling block and the third filling block are mutually perpendicular and arranged between the other corner of the light guide plate and the corner of the back plate; the backboard is provided with a first boss, a second boss and a third boss corresponding to the first filling block, the second filling block and the third filling block respectively.
Further, the distance from the boss to the bottom plate is greater than the height of the flexible filling block.
Further, the flexible filling blocks are connected with the side walls through double-sided adhesive tapes.
Further, the included angle between the side of the flexible filling block facing the side wall and the bottom surface of the flexible filling block is rounded.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects: the side wall of the backboard is provided with the boss, so that the flexible filling block is limited from the upper part of the flexible filling block, and the flexible filling block is prevented from falling off. The flexible filling block is provided with an extending part, the light guide plate is correspondingly provided with an avoiding groove, the extending part extends into the avoiding groove, and the light guide plate can press the extending part from the upper part, so that the flexible filling block is fixed. Through setting up first hook portion at flexible filler piece, the light guide plate corresponds and sets up second hook portion, can further fix flexible filler piece, makes the structure more stable.

Detailed Description
In order that the invention may be readily understood, a more complete description of the invention will be rendered by reference to the appended drawings. The drawings illustrate preferred embodiments of the invention. This invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the first embodiment of the present invention mainly includes a back plate 1, a light guide plate 2, and a flexible filler 3. The back plate 1 is rectangular and made of metal, and comprises a bottom plate 11, and the periphery of the bottom plate 11 is formed with a side wall 12 extending vertically upwards. The light guide plate 2 is rectangular and is arranged in a space formed by enclosing the side walls 12, and the area of the light guide plate 2 is slightly smaller than that of the bottom plate 11, so that a gap is formed between the light guide plate 2 and the side walls 12, and the light guide plate 2 and the back plate 1 are prevented from being mutually extruded due to expansion caused by heat and contraction caused by cold. The flexible filling block 3 is arranged between the light guide plate 2 and the side wall 12, and two sides of the flexible filling block 3 are respectively propped against the light guide plate 2 and the side wall 12. The flexible filler 3 may be made of silica gel, but is not limited thereto. The side wall 12 is provided with a boss 4 towards one side of the light guide plate 2, and the boss 4 extends horizontally from the surface of the side wall 12 to above the flexible filling block 3, and the flexible filling block 3 is fixed between the boss 4 and the bottom plate 11.
In the present embodiment, the flexible filler 3 includes a straight filler 31 and a right-angle filler 32. A corner of the light guide plate 2 abuts against a corner of the back plate 1, and the linear filling block 31 is in a strip shape and is arranged between the longer side of the light guide plate 2 and the side wall 12; the right-angle filling block 32 has two sides perpendicular to each other, and the right-angle filling block 32 is disposed between the other corner of the light guide plate 2 and the corner of the back plate. Circular arc grooves 35 are arranged between two sides of the right-angle filling block 32, and the grooves 35 can be used for bending the right-angle filling block 32. The side wall 12 is provided with a first boss 41 corresponding to the linear filling block 31, and two sides of the side wall 12 corresponding to the right-angle filling block 32 are respectively provided with a second boss 42 and a third boss 43. The first boss 41, the second boss 42, and the third boss 43 form a limit for the linear filler block 31 and the right-angle filler block 32 from above, respectively, so as to prevent the flexible filler block 3 from falling out from the bottom up.
Referring to fig. 3, in a second embodiment of the present invention, an extending portion 33 is formed at a position of the flexible filling block 3, which is close to the bottom, on one side of the light guide plate 2, and the extending portion 33 is integrally formed with the flexible filling block 3, and a recess 21 is formed on a side surface of the light guide plate 2 corresponding to the extending portion 33. When the flexible filling block 3 is assembled, the flexible filling block 3 is firstly arranged between the boss 4 and the bottom plate 11, then the light guide plate 2 is arranged on the bottom plate 11 from top to bottom, and the extending part 33 is positioned in the avoidance groove 21 and is pressed by the light guide plate 2, so that the flexible filling block 3 is further fixed and prevented from falling off.
Referring to fig. 4, in the third embodiment of the present invention, the end of the extending portion 33 of the flexible filling block 3 extending into the avoidance groove 21 extends upward to form the first hooking portion 34, the end of the avoidance groove 21 adjacent to the side wall 12 extends downward to form the second hooking portion 22, and when the light guide plate 2 is placed on the bottom plate 11 of the back plate 1 from top to bottom, the first hooking portion 34 and the second hooking portion 22 are mutually engaged, so that the flexible filling block 3 can be further fixed, and the stability of the structure is improved.
Fig. 5 shows a fourth embodiment of the present invention, which differs from the first embodiment in that the flexible filler 3 comprises a first filler 36, a second filler 37, and a third filler 38. The corner of the light guide plate 2 is propped against the corner of the backboard 1, the first filling block 36 is arranged between the longer side of the light guide plate 2 and the side wall 12, and the second filling block 37 and the third filling block 38 are mutually perpendicular arranged between the other corner of the light guide plate 2 and the corner of the backboard 1. The back plate 1 is provided with a first boss 41, a second boss 42 and a third boss 43 corresponding to the first filler 36, the second filler 37 and the third filler 38, respectively. The first boss 41, the second boss 42, and the third boss 43 form stoppers from above the first filler block 36, the second filler block 37, and the third filler block 38, respectively, thereby preventing the flexible filler block 3 from coming out from the bottom up.
In order to avoid the flexible filling block 3 from extruding the back plate due to expansion with heat and contraction with cold, the included angle between the side of the flexible filling block 3 facing the side wall 12 and the bottom surface thereof is rounded 39, and meanwhile, the distance from the boss to the bottom plate 11 is slightly larger than the height of the flexible filling block 3, so that a space is formed between the flexible filling block 3 and the back plate 1.
In order to further fix the flexible filling block 3, a double-sided adhesive may be used between the flexible filling block 3 and the back plate 1.
It should be noted that, the light guide plate 2 of the above embodiment is disposed such that a corner portion abuts against a corner portion of the back plate 1, so as to save materials and reduce the amount of the flexible filling block 3. In other embodiments, the light guide plate 2 may also be disposed in the middle of the back plate 1, and the flexible filling blocks 3 may be disposed between the periphery of the light guide plate 2 and the side walls 12.
While the invention has been described in conjunction with the specific embodiments above, it is evident that many alternatives, modifications and variations will be apparent to those skilled in the art in light of the foregoing description. Accordingly, all such alternatives, modifications, and variations are included within the spirit and scope of the following claims.
Claims (3)
1. The backlight module comprises a back plate, a light guide plate and a flexible filling block, wherein the back plate comprises a bottom plate, a side wall is formed on the periphery of the bottom plate, the light guide plate is arranged in a space formed by surrounding the side wall, and the flexible filling block is arranged between the light guide plate and the side wall; the flexible filling block is characterized in that a boss is arranged on one side of the side wall, which faces the light guide plate, and horizontally extends to the upper part of the flexible filling block from the surface of the side wall, the flexible filling block is fixed between the boss and the bottom plate, an extending part is formed at the position, close to the bottom, of one side of the flexible filling block, which faces the light guide plate, an avoidance groove is formed on the side surface of the light guide plate, the extending part extends into the avoidance groove, the extending part is fixed between the light guide plate and the bottom plate, one end, which extends into the avoidance groove, extends upwards to form a first hooking part, one end, close to the side wall, of the avoidance groove extends downwards to form a second hooking part, the first hooking part and the second hooking part are mutually clamped, and the flexible filling block comprises a linear filling block and a right-angle filling block; the corner of the light guide plate is propped against the corner of the backboard, the linear filling block is arranged between the longer side of the light guide plate and the side wall, and the right-angle filling block is arranged between the other corner of the light guide plate and the corner of the backboard; the back plate is provided with a first boss corresponding to the linear filling block, two perpendicular edges of the back plate corresponding to the right-angle filling block are respectively provided with a second boss and a third boss, and an included angle between one surface of the flexible filling block facing the side wall and the bottom surface of the flexible filling block is rounded.
2. The backlight module of claim 1, wherein the distance from the boss to the bottom plate is greater than the height of the flexible filling block.
3. The backlight module of claim 1, wherein the flexible filling block is connected with the side wall through double sided adhesive tape.
