这种连接器的差分对的两个接触件以及相邻两个差分对之间的接地接触件均为加工出的条形接触件,这些条形接触件插装或浇注在绝缘体中并构成壳体内的接触模块,这样的结构形式不仅体积较大,而且工艺复杂,加工成本较高,对于目前小型化、高密度化的需求来讲,显得不尽人意。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种体积小、工艺简单的连接器。
为实现上述目的,本发明的连接器包括壳体,壳体内设有多个接触单元,接触单元包括单元印制板,在印制板厚度方向上相邻的两个单元印制板的相邻侧面上分别设有信号走线而构成差分对,两个单元印制板上还在宽度方向上于信号走线的两侧分别设有接地走线,信号走线和接地走线在单元印制板的边缘位置结束而形成用于与适配连接器插接的插接端。
将信号接触件和接地屏蔽件通过印制板上的走线代替,相比传统的片式接触件和绝缘体的组合大大减小了接触部分的体积,从而减小了连接器的体积,实现了更高程度的集成化。
优选地,单元印制板的两侧板面上分别设有所述信号走线和位于所述信号走线两侧的所述接地走线,且同一个单元印制板分别与在厚度方向上相邻的两个单元印制板组成两个差分对。这样便于实现信号传输回路的高密度化。
进一步地,为了更好的实现构成差分对的两信号走线之间的耦合,其上的信号走线构成一对差分对的两个单元印制板在厚度方向上的间距小于单元印制板的厚度。
此外,多个在厚度方向上并排设置的接触单元中,位于两侧边缘处的接触单元的单元印制板的外侧面上设置的信号走线为低频信号走线,这样能够在有限的空间内实现更好的信号传输。
当然,所述接触单元可以自成模块,单元印制板相互独立,此时,壳体内可以设有多个安装槽,各个接触单元安装在对应安装槽中。
在接触单元使用在转接连接器中时,信号走线和接地走线分别在单元印制板的两相对边缘结束而在单元印制板两边形成两个插接端。

具体实施方式
下面结合附图对本发明的实施方式作进一步说明。
本发明以转接连接器为例对连接器进行说明,如图1、2所示,转接连接器3即为本发明所提供的连接器,在使用时分别与第一板端连接器1和第二板端连接器2连接实现转接。当然,在其他实施例中,本发明的连接器可以为单端插接的插头或插座,其区别与此处提供的转接连接器相比,仅为单端插接。以下将仅以转接连接器为例进行说明。
如图3、4所示,转接连接器3包括壳体,壳体内设有多个接触单元31,接触单元31包括单元印制板,印制板的两侧面均设有信号走线310,两侧面的信号走线310在印制板的厚度方向上对应,单元印制板的两侧面上还在信号走线310的两侧分别设有接地走线311,单元印制板上在对应于接地走线311的长度方向间隔设有多个隔离孔312。这样两个单元印制板上的信号走线所构成的信号对被接地走线所包围,保证了差分对的屏蔽效果。多个接触单元31在垂直于板面的平面内呈矩阵式布置,在厚度方向上相邻的两个单元印制板相邻侧面上的两信号走线310构成一差分对,且在布置接触单元时,为了便于差分对的信号耦合,构成差分对的两信号走线所在的单元印制板之间的间距小于印制板的厚度。信号走线和接地走线在单元印制板的边缘位置结束而形成用于与适配连接器插接的插接端318。当然,作为转接连接器,接触单元的单元印制板具有两个插接端。本实施例中,两个插接端分别位于单元印制板的两端,在其他实施方式中,信号走线和接地走线可以弯曲,此时,两个插接端可以为与同一边缘或者两相邻边缘。如上面提到的,当本发明的连接器为单端插接的插头或插座时,单元印制板仅有一个插接端,另一端可以为鱼眼结构或焊接端。
基于以上的接触单元布置方式,可以使在厚度方向上位于两侧边缘处的接触单元的单元印制板的外侧面上设置的信号走线为低频信号走线,这样能够在有限的空间内实现更好的信号传输。以图3为例,可以将最上侧的信号走线和最下侧的信号走线作为低频信号走线。
本实施例中,接触单元自成模块设置,即各个接触单元为独立模块,在连接器装配时,将各个独立的基础模块安装在壳体内的安装槽中即可,当然,在其他实施方式中,接触单元可以一体化设置,此时,各个接触单元的单元印制板浇注在同一绝缘体内,或者接触单元分为若干组,每一组的多个接触单元浇注在同一绝缘体中。

Claims (5)

1.一种连接器,包括壳体,其特征是,壳体内设有多个接触单元,接触单元包括单元印制板,在印制板厚度方向上相邻的两个单元印制板的相邻侧面上分别设有信号走线而构成差分对,两个单元印制板上还在宽度方向上于信号走线的两侧分别设有接地走线,信号走线和接地走线在单元印制板的边缘位置结束而形成用于与适配连接器插接的插接端,单元印制板的两侧板面上分别设有一个所述信号走线和位于信号走线两侧的所述接地走线,且同一个单元印制板分别与在厚度方向上相邻的两个单元印制板组成两个差分对,所述接触单元自成模块,单元印制板相互独立,各单元印制板呈长条形结构,多个接触单元在垂直于板面的平面内呈矩阵式间隔布置。
2.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,其特征是,其上的信号走线构成一对差分对的两个单元印制板在厚度方向上的间距小于单元印制板的厚度。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的连接器,其特征是,多个在厚度方向上并排设置的接触单元中,位于两侧边缘处的接触单元的单元印制板的外侧面上设置的信号走线为低频信号走线。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的连接器,其特征是,所述壳体内设有多个安装槽,各个接触单元安装在对应安装槽中。
5.根据权利要求1或2所述的连接器,其特征是,信号走线和接地走线分别在单元印制板的两相对边缘结束而在单元印制板两边形成两个插接端。
