Furthermore, the drawings are merely schematic illustrations of the present disclosure and are not necessarily drawn to scale. The same reference numerals in the drawings denote the same or similar parts, and thus their repetitive description will be omitted. Some of the block diagrams shown in the figures are functional entities and do not necessarily correspond to physically or logically separate entities.
The present disclosure first provides a page scrolling control method, which is implemented in a play terminal. The play terminal includes a display interface for displaying scrollable pages. The playing terminal can be used for playing audio, video, presentation, pictures and the like. The user can send an instruction to the playback terminal through a remote controller or an input device on the playback terminal, and interact with the playback terminal by means of the display interface, for example, perform menu selection, focus switching, and the like. By "focus" is meant that a user can select one or more selectable items displayed on a page, for example, by moving up, down, left, and right direction keys on a remote control to switch between the selectable items, the selected selectable item becomes the focus. As previously described with reference to fig. 1, the page displayed on the display interface generally includes a first level tab (e.g., a first level menu) on the top of the page, a second level tab (e.g., a second level menu) below the first level menu, and home page content below the second level tab. The user may send an instruction to the playback terminal to scroll the page up and down to view the complete page, for example, the page may be scrolled down and up by up and down direction keys on the remote controller. In another example, the user may also receive an instruction to scroll the page through a body motion such as a gesture by the player terminal having the corresponding motion sensor.
In the prior art, the first-level tag and the second-level tag are generally frozen and fixed on a display interface during the scrolling process of the page, so as to be convenient for a user to use. In practice, when the user wants to return the primary tab upwards after viewing the main page content, the focus must first pass the secondary tab to continue returning the primary tab upwards because the focus switch is moved gradually, and the focus will jump out of the main page to reach the secondary tab only when the user continues to instruct to switch the focus upwards when the main page content scrolls to its uppermost portion. This results in the freezing of the display of the primary labels during page scrolling being meaningless and unnecessary. One or more of the embodiments of the present invention make use of this point skillfully, and the tags are designed to be in a hidden mode during page scrolling according to the characteristics of the primary tags that it is impossible to directly obtain focus, thereby freeing up an area for the display of the entire main page content and making full use of the display space of the display interface.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a page scrolling control method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 2, the exemplary page scroll control method includes the steps of:
s201, responding to an instruction of an initial display page from a user, and displaying the page on a display interface.
By "instruction to initially display a page" is meant that the user indicates entry into the page, e.g., to jump to the page from another page or other item. In this case, the playback terminal displays an initial display page of the pages on the display interface. Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating an initial display of a page on a display interface of a play terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the example of fig. 3, a page is displayed that includes a primary tab 11 located at the top of the page, a secondary tab 12 located below the primary tab, and main page content 13 located below the secondary tab. Typically, the focus at this time is at the primary label.
S202, an instruction to scroll the page up is received from the user.
The instruction is the first instruction received to scroll the page up. The instruction may appear as the user issuing an instruction to switch focus down. For example, after the user views the initial display page in the incoming page, the user presses a down direction key of the remote controller to send an instruction to the playback terminal to scroll the page upward.
S203, responding to the instruction of upward rolling, hiding the primary label, enabling the secondary label to move upwards to the position of the original primary label and freeze, and enabling the main page content to move upwards along with the secondary label.
And after receiving a page scrolling instruction, subsequently entering a page scrolling process. Unlike prior art schemes in which the primary and secondary labels are frozen and pinned to the page (e.g., pinned to the top of the page) at the same time during page scrolling, in this embodiment of the invention, the primary label is hidden during page scrolling, even if it is not displayed on the page, but only the secondary label is frozen, and the primary page content moves up with the secondary label, moving it up to the position of the original primary label. The main page content may move up the same distance with the secondary tab or may move up less or more than the distance the secondary tab moves for aesthetic, ease of use, or other purposes.
Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram illustrating page display on a display interface of a play terminal during page scrolling according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 4, in page scroll mode, the primary tab 11 is hidden, only the frozen secondary tab 12 is displayed and the main page content 13 is displayed.
The above is directed to the case where the page is initially displayed and an instruction to scroll the page up for the first time is received. In one embodiment of the invention, each subsequent time an instruction is received from the user to scroll the page up, the main page content is moved up in its entirety and the secondary tab is kept frozen unless the bottom of the main page content has been reached (e.g., the focus has reached the bottom-most selectable item of the main page content). That is, if the focus does not reach the bottom of the main page content, then the page scrolling process continues, the primary label continues to remain hidden, and the secondary label continues to remain frozen. If the bottom of the main page content has been reached, the page can no longer scroll down. At this time, the play terminal may prompt the user by voice or the like.
The user may scroll the page back and forth up and down during viewing, and after scrolling the page up, the user may return to scroll the page down to view the browsed main page content. User instructions to scroll the page down may appear to toggle the focus up. For example, the user may press an up direction key on the remote control to issue such an instruction.
In one embodiment of the present invention, after entering the page scroll display mode, if an instruction from the user to scroll down the page is received without reaching the top of the main page content, the playback terminal moves the main page content down as a whole, and keeps the primary label hidden and the secondary label frozen. If an instruction is received from the user to scroll the page down with the top of the main page content having been reached, then the focus will switch up to the secondary tab, and the focus will reach the top of the page after the switch. If the user continues to issue an instruction to scroll the page down at this point (e.g., pressing the up directional key indicates switching focus up), the cast terminal un-hides and reveals the primary label, unfreezes the secondary label and moves down under the primary label, moving the main page content the same distance or more or less down with the secondary label.
In one or more of the above embodiments, the primary label may be a primary navigation bar or a primary menu, and the secondary label may be a secondary navigation bar or a secondary menu. The playing terminal can be a television, and the page can be a column/channel/content navigation page. In other examples, the cast terminal may also be any one of a television, a mobile phone, a computer, a Pad, an MP3, and the like.
According to another aspect of the present disclosure, a page scrolling control device is also provided. The page scroll control apparatus may be implemented in a cast terminal. The cast terminal may include a display unit for displaying a scrollable page. Fig. 5 shows a schematic block diagram of a page scroll control apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 5, the page scroll control apparatus 500 includes a receiving unit 501 and a scroll control unit 502.
