Abstract

The power adapter comprises an adapter shell, a PCB assembly and a USB socket assembly, wherein the PCB assembly and the USB socket assembly are arranged in the adapter shell and connected with each other, one end of the adapter shell forms a USB interface corresponding to the USB socket assembly, a waterproof device is arranged between the USB socket assembly and the PCB assembly and is respectively connected with the adapter shell and the PCB assembly in a sealing mode and used for preventing liquid from entering the adapter from the USB interface. The second power adapter is characterized in that a USB connecting socket is directly fixed on a main PCB inside the adapter, an output interface mode can be replaced randomly according to actual use, but the power adapter has a serious problem in the actual use process: the USB connecting socket end does not have any sealing waterproof device and does not have a waterproof function, so that liquid easily flows into electronic elements and a PCB (printed circuit board) inside the adapter from the USB connecting socket port directly, and the electronic equipment is easily subjected to circuit short circuit, electric shock and other adverse phenomena after being electrified, so that the adapter cannot work normally, and serious potential safety hazards are brought to people.
Based on the above, there is a need for a power adapter and an electronic device having the same, which have waterproof function, simple manufacturing, low production cost, safety and reliability, so as to solve the above problems.

The invention aims to provide a power adapter which has a waterproof function, is simple to manufacture, low in production cost and safe and reliable to use.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an electronic device having the above power adapter, which has a good waterproof effect and is safer and more reliable to use.

As a preferred scheme of the power adapter, the waterproof device is an elastic sealing sleeve sleeved outside the USB socket component, and the shape of the elastic sealing sleeve is matched with that of the USB socket component.

The invention has the beneficial effects that:
the invention provides a power adapter, wherein a waterproof device is arranged between a USB socket component and a PCB component of the power adapter, and the waterproof device is hermetically connected with an adapter shell and the PCB component, so that liquid (such as water) can be effectively prevented from entering the adapter from a USB interface of the adapter shell to cause short circuit of electronic elements or burning of a PCB.
The invention also provides electronic equipment which is provided with the power adapter, has a good waterproof effect and is safer and more reliable to use.

Detailed Description
In order to make the technical problems solved, technical solutions adopted and technical effects achieved by the present invention clearer, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
In order to solve the problems that the existing power adapter does not have a waterproof function, liquid easily flows into electronic elements and a PCB board inside the adapter from a USB connecting socket port, circuit short circuit and electric shock and other adverse phenomena occur after electronic equipment is electrified, the adapter cannot normally work, serious potential safety hazards are brought to people, and the like, the power adapter is provided in the embodiment.
As shown in fig. 1 to 10, a power adapter provided in this embodiment includes an adapter housing 1, and a PCB assembly and a USB socket assembly 2 disposed in the adapter housing 1 and connected to each other, a USB interface 3 corresponding to the USB socket assembly 2 is formed at one end of the adapter housing 1, and a waterproof device is disposed between the USB socket assembly 2 and the PCB assembly and hermetically connected to the adapter housing 1 and the PCB assembly respectively for preventing liquid from entering the adapter from the USB interface 3.
In the present embodiment, the waterproof device is preferably an elastic sealing sleeve 4 sleeved outside the USB socket assembly 2, and the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is made of a rubber elastic material, such as a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer rubber TPU. The shape of the elastomeric sealing boot 4 matches the shape of the USB socket assembly 2. Of course, the waterproof device is not limited to the elastic sealing sleeve 4 with the above structure, and may also be other waterproof structures with sealing performance, such as sealing rubber rings or sealing ribs arranged between the USB socket assembly 2 and the PCB assembly at intervals.
The PCB assembly comprises a PCB 5 and a mounting bracket 6 for assembling the PCB 5, wherein the mounting bracket 6 is fixedly welded with the PCB 5. The USB socket assembly 2 is mounted on the PCB board 5 and is located between the mounting bracket 6 and the PCB board 5. The elastic sealing sleeve 4 is arranged between the mounting bracket 6 and the USB socket assembly 2 and is respectively connected with the PCB 5, the mounting bracket 6 and the adapter shell 1 in a sealing way.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 4 to 10, in the present embodiment, in order to simplify the production, reduce the production cost, and enhance the practicability of the product, preferably, a ring-shaped second sealing protrusion 42 is integrally provided on the elastic sealing sleeve 4 near the front end surface of the USB port 3. After the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is assembled, the second sealing protrusion 42 is in sealing fit with the inner wall of the adapter housing 1, so as to form a waterproof structure between the elastic sealing sleeve 4 and the adapter housing 1. That is to say, the second sealing protrusion 42 forms an interference fit with the inner wall of the adapter housing 1, and a gap is formed between the adapter housing 1 and the elastic sealing sleeve 4, so that the assembly of the PCB board 5 on the other side can be facilitated, the PCB board 5 is prevented from being damaged, and the production cost is increased. The interference is not less than 0.15mm, which is the amount of elastic deformation of the second sealing projection 42 as a result of the compression of the adapter housing 1 after the assembly of the elastic sealing sleeve 4.
The elastic sealing sleeve 4 is integrally provided with a ring-shaped first sealing bulge 41 on the bottom wall opposite to the mounting bracket 6. After the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is assembled, the outer wall of the elastic sealing sleeve 4 and the first sealing protrusion 41 are in sealing fit with the outer wall of the mounting bracket 6 to form a first waterproof structure between the elastic sealing sleeve 4 and the mounting bracket 6. That is, the outer wall of the elastic sealing sleeve 4, the first sealing protrusion 41 and the outer wall of the mounting bracket 6 form an interference fit, no gap exists between the mounting bracket 6 and the elastic sealing sleeve 4, and the interference is not less than 0.15mm, where the interference is the amount of elastic deformation generated by the first sealing protrusion 41 being pressed by the mounting bracket 6 after the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is assembled. Of course, there may also be a gap between the adapter housing 1 and the elastic sealing sleeve 4.
In addition, the side wall of the elastic sealing sleeve 4 deviating from the second sealing protrusion 42 is tightly attached to the mounting bracket 6, so that a second waterproof structure between the elastic sealing sleeve 4 and the mounting bracket 6 is formed.
The diapire and the lateral wall relative with PCB board 5 on the elastic sealing sleeve 4 all closely laminate with PCB board 5, form the waterproof construction between elastic sealing sleeve 4 and the PCB board 5.
In the present embodiment, the cross-section of each of the first sealing protrusion 41 and the second sealing protrusion 42 is one of a triangle, an arc and a trapezoid, and may be in other shapes, and the cross-section may be elastically deformed to achieve a sealing effect.
The waterproof structure between the elastic sealing sleeve 4 and the PCB 5, the mounting bracket 6 and the adapter shell 1 can effectively prevent liquid from entering the adapter from the USB interface 3 of the adapter shell 1 to cause short circuit of electronic elements or burning of the PCB 5, has good waterproof effect, does not need to design non-standard electronic elements, and is simple to manufacture, low in production cost and safe and reliable to use.
The waterproof structure between the elastic sealing sleeve 4 and the PCB 5, the mounting bracket 6 and the adapter housing 1 is not limited to this, and may be designed as the following (the schematic structural diagram is the same as that of the above embodiment, so it is omitted):
the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is integrally provided with a circle of annular second sealing bulges 42 on the front end face close to the USB interface 3, the inner wall of the adapter shell 1 close to the USB interface 3 is provided with a circle of annular second sealing grooves in interference fit with the second sealing bulges 42, and a gap is reserved between the adapter shell 1 and the elastic sealing sleeve 4, so that the assembly of the PCB 5 on the other side can be facilitated, the damage to the PCB 5 is avoided, and the production cost is increased. The interference is not less than 0.15mm, and the interference refers to the elastic deformation (i.e. the depth of the second sealing groove) generated by the second sealing protrusion 42 being pressed by the adapter housing 1 after the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is assembled. After the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is assembled, the width of the second sealing groove is greater than the width of the second sealing protrusion 42, and the sidewall of the second sealing groove is at least 0.2mm away from the sidewall of the second sealing protrusion 42. The tight fit of the second sealing projection 42 and the second sealing groove provides a sealing connection of the adapter housing 1 to the elastic sealing sleeve 4.
The elastic sealing sleeve 4 is integrally provided with a ring of annular first sealing bulges 41 on the bottom wall opposite to the mounting support 6, the outer wall of the mounting support 6 is provided with a ring of annular first sealing grooves in interference fit with the first sealing bulges 41, no gap exists between the mounting support 6 and the elastic sealing sleeve 4, the interference magnitude is not less than 0.15mm, and the interference magnitude refers to the elastic deformation quantity (namely the depth of the first sealing grooves) generated by the extrusion of the first sealing bulges 41 by the mounting support 6 after the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is assembled. After the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is assembled, the width of the first sealing groove is greater than the width of the first sealing protrusion 41, and the sidewall of the first sealing groove is at least 0.2mm away from the sidewall of the first sealing protrusion 41. The first sealing connection between the mounting bracket 6 and the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is realized by the close fit of the first sealing protrusion 41 and the first sealing groove. Moreover, the side wall of the elastic sealing sleeve 4 deviating from the second sealing protrusion 42 is tightly attached to the mounting bracket 6, so as to form a second sealing connection between the elastic sealing sleeve 4 and the mounting bracket 6.
The above-mentioned arrangement positions of the first sealing projection 41 and the first sealing groove may be interchanged, and the arrangement positions of the second sealing projection 42 and the second sealing groove may be interchanged.
The diapire and the lateral wall relative with PCB board 5 on the elastic sealing sleeve 4 all closely laminate with PCB board 5, form the waterproof construction between elastic sealing sleeve 4 and the PCB board 5.
In order to further enhance the waterproof effect, the number of the first sealing protrusion 41 and the second sealing protrusion 42 provided on the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is not limited to one circle, and may be two circles in consideration of the production cost.
The elastic sealing sleeve 4 of the embodiment is of an integrated injection molding structure, so that the structural strength of the elastic sealing sleeve 4 is enhanced, and the processing is convenient.
The embodiment further provides an electronic device, the electronic device is provided with the power adapter, the electronic device can be a mobile phone or a tablet computer and the like, the waterproof effect is good, and the electronic device is safer and more reliable to use.
It should be noted that, the waterproof device of the present application may also be an elastomer made of a foam material, and the elastomer is filled in the gaps between the PCB assembly and the USB socket assembly and the adapter housing, respectively, and has a certain elastic deformation performance, and also has a sealing and waterproof effect.

4. The power adapter as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the elastic sealing sleeve (4) is tightly fitted to the PCB board (5).
5. The power adapter as claimed in claim 3, wherein the first sealing protrusion (41) and the second sealing protrusion (42) each have one of a triangular shape, an arc shape and a trapezoidal shape in cross section.
6. The power adapter as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the elastic sealing sleeve (4) is of an integral injection-molded construction.
7. The power adapter as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the elastic sealing sleeve (4) is made of rubber elastic material or foam material.
8. An electronic device comprising a power adapter according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
