It should be understood that the number of terminal devices, networks, and network devices in fig. 1 is merely illustrative. There may be any number of terminal devices, networks, and network devices, as desired for an implementation.
With continued reference to fig. 2, a flow 200 of one embodiment of a method of presenting information of a wireless access point at a mobile terminal in accordance with the present application is shown. The method for displaying the information of the wireless access point on the mobile terminal comprises the following steps:
step 201, in response to the information viewing operation associated with the wireless access point application, obtaining the current network connection type of the terminal device. In some embodiments, the wireless access point class application may include any application that can be used to access or assist in accessing a wireless access point.
In this embodiment, in a case that a terminal device (for example, terminal devices 101, 102, and 103 shown in fig. 1) on which a method for presenting information of a wireless access point by a mobile terminal operates receives an information viewing operation associated with a wireless access point type application, a current network connection type of the terminal device is obtained; in the case where the current network connection type is a data network connection type, step 202 is performed. The network connection type may include, but is not limited to, a data network connection type, a wireless access point connection type, a no network connection type, and the like.
In this embodiment, the information viewing operation may include an operation of requesting presentation of a window component, which is associated with the wireless access point class application and is presented without opening the wireless access point class application.
Wherein the operation of requesting to present the window component may include, but is not limited to, at least one of:
1. requesting an operation to switch to an interface containing a window component. Wherein the interface containing the windowing component can be independent of the wireless access point class application. Here, as an example, the user may construct a widget of the wireless access point application on a system interface (e.g., an IOS system homepage) of the terminal device in advance. When the user switches to the system interface of the terminal device, the widget of the constructed wireless access point application can be displayed on the system interface. widgets, also known as widgets, window components, are miniature application views that can be embedded into other applications (e.g., a desktop) and receive periodic updates.
2. A second operation on an icon of the wireless access point class application. Wherein the second operation may comprise any operation on an icon of the wireless access point class application that can trigger presentation of the window component. As one example, the second operation may include, but is not limited to, a long press operation, a heavy press operation, a double click operation, and the like. As an example, when the user presses the icon of the wireless access point class application again, the terminal device may display an interface including the widget of the wireless access point class application in the vicinity of the icon of the wireless access point class application.
And step 202, responding to the obtained current network connection type being a data network connection type, and obtaining information of at least one wireless access point nearby the terminal equipment.
In some embodiments, in the case that the current network connection type is a data network connection type, the terminal device may obtain, through the wireless access point class application, information of at least one wireless access point in the vicinity of the terminal device, for example, from a background server (e.g., the network device 105 shown in fig. 1) of the wireless access point class application through a wired connection or a wireless connection. Wherein the information of the wireless access point may include, but is not limited to, at least one of: the number of the wireless access points, the identification of the wireless access points, the passwords of the wireless access points, the connection success rate of the wireless access points, the signal strength of the wireless access points, the stability of the wireless access points, the network speed of the wireless access points and the like.
In this embodiment, the terminal device may acquire information of at least one wireless access point in the vicinity of the terminal device in various ways.
As an example, the reference area may be pre-divided into a plurality of sub-areas, wherein each sub-area may include a plurality of wireless access points therein, and the background server of the wireless access point class application may store information of the wireless access points in each sub-area. Here, when the current network connection type is the data network connection type, the terminal device may start the positioning service, thereby acquiring the location information of the terminal device, and sending the location information of the terminal device to the background server of the wireless access point application; the background server of the wireless access point application can determine the sub-area indicated by the position information of the terminal device, search the information of at least one wireless access point in the determined sub-area, and send the searched information of at least one wireless access point to the terminal device.
As another example, when a user clicks a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) option in a setting item of a terminal device, a Wireless access point class application may read a Wireless access point list in the WLAN option of the terminal device, obtain an identifier of at least one Wireless access point in the Wireless access point list, and send the identifier to a background server, where the background server may query based on the identifier and provide queried information of the Wireless access point, such as a password, a connection success rate, signal strength, stability, and a network speed of the Wireless access point, to the terminal device.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, in a case where a first operation on a wireless access point setting item is received, a terminal device may first acquire location information of the terminal device; information of at least one wireless access point in the vicinity of the position indicated by the position information of the terminal device is then acquired. The wireless access point setting items can include, for example, WLAN options in the setting items of the terminal device; the first operation may include any operation performed on the line access point setting item, which can trigger the obtaining of the location information of the terminal device, and as an example, when the user clicks a WLAN option in the setting item of the terminal device, the terminal device may be considered to receive the first operation.
Step 203, information of at least part of at least one wireless access point is shown without opening the wireless access point class application.
In this embodiment, based on the information of the at least one wireless access point obtained in step 202, the terminal device may present information of at least some wireless access points of the at least one wireless access point without opening a wireless access point class application. Specifically, the terminal device may present the acquired information of all the wireless access points, or may select a part of the wireless access points from at least one wireless access point and present the information of the selected wireless access points. As an example, the terminal device may present information of one of the at least one wireless access point.
Here, the terminal device may select the wireless access point in various ways.
As an example, the terminal device may randomly select a preset number of wireless access points from at least one wireless access point and present information of the selected wireless access points.
As another example, the terminal device may first select information of a wireless access point that satisfies a second preset condition from information of at least one wireless access point; and finally, displaying the information of the selected wireless access point under the condition that the wireless access point application is not opened.
Wherein the second preset condition may include, but is not limited to, at least one of the following:
1. the connection power is higher than a preset connection power threshold value. As an example, the background server of the application of the wireless access point class may count the connection times and the connection success times of the wireless access point within a preset time period (for example, a previous month), and use the ratio of the connection success times and the connection times as the connection power of the wireless access point. Here, the terminal device may compare the connection power of the wireless access point with a preset connection power threshold; if the power is higher than the preset connection power threshold value, the information of the wireless access point meets a second preset condition.
2. The signal strength is above a second preset signal strength threshold. As an example, the background server of the wireless access point application may count the average signal strength of the wireless access point within a preset time period (e.g., the previous hour) and use the average signal strength as the signal strength of the wireless access point. Here, the terminal device may compare the signal strength of the wireless access point with a second preset signal strength threshold; if the signal strength is higher than the second preset signal strength threshold, the information of the wireless access point meets a second preset condition.
3. The stability is above a second preset stability threshold. As an example, a background server of a wireless access point class application may count and consider the stability of a wireless access point for a preset period of time (e.g., the first 30 minutes). Here, the terminal device may compare the stability of the wireless access point with a second preset stability threshold; if the value is higher than the second preset stability threshold value, the information of the wireless access point meets a second preset condition.
4. The network speed is higher than a second preset network speed threshold value. The background server applied by the wireless access point class can count the average network speed (including the uplink speed and the downlink speed) of the wireless access point in a preset time period (for example, the previous 30 minutes) and use the average network speed as the network speed of the wireless access point. Here, the terminal device may compare the network speed of the wireless access point with a second preset network speed threshold; if the network speed is higher than the second preset network speed threshold, the information of the wireless access point meets a second preset condition.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the terminal device may present at least part of the information of at least part of the wireless access point through a windowing component. Optionally, the terminal device may display the information of the wireless access point in a window of a widget of the wireless access point application on the system page, or may display the information of the wireless access point in a window of a widget of the wireless access point application near an icon of the wireless access point application. In the window of the widget of the wireless access point application, only part of information of the connectable wireless access points, such as the number of the connectable wireless access points, may be presented, but of course, more information, such as the signal strength of the connectable wireless access points, may also be presented.
In some optional implementations of the embodiment, in case of receiving a third operation on information of at least some of the at least one wireless access point, the terminal device may connect to a wireless access point of the at least some of the at least one wireless access point. The third operation may comprise any operation that can trigger the terminal device to initiate connection to the wireless access point. As an example, when the user clicks a window of the widget of the wireless access point type application or information of the wireless access point shown in the window, it may be considered that the terminal device receives the third operation.
As an example, the terminal device may jump to the wireless access point setting item and present information of at least some of the at least one wireless access point in the wireless access point setting item; in the case of receiving a confirmation operation of information of a wireless access point among information of at least some of the at least one wireless access point shown in the wireless access point setting items, the terminal device may connect a wireless access point indicated by the confirmed information of the wireless access point. Specifically, the terminal device jumps to the wireless access point setting item, and displays the information of the wireless access point in the wireless access point setting item, and when the user clicks the information of one wireless access point displayed in the wireless access point setting item, the terminal device can connect to the wireless access point. In some embodiments, the wireless access point connection mode is suitable for a terminal device installed with an IOS mobile operating system.
As another example, a terminal device may obtain a wireless access point profile and install the wireless access point profile; in case the installation of the wireless access point profile is completed, the terminal device may connect to a wireless access point of at least part of the at least one wireless access point. The wireless access point profile may include an identification and a password of at least some of the at least one wireless access point, which may be generated by the terminal device or a background server of the wireless access point class application. Specifically, in the case of receiving an instruction to install a wireless access point profile, the terminal device may install the wireless access point profile; in the case where the installation of the wireless access point profile is completed, the terminal device may randomly select one wireless access point from at least some of the at least one wireless access point and connect to the wireless access point. In some embodiments, the wireless access point connection mode is suitable for a terminal device installed with an IOS mobile operating system.
As yet another example, the terminal device may first select a wireless access point from at least some of the at least one wireless access points; then, acquiring the identification and the password of the selected wireless access point; and finally connecting the selected wireless access point based on the acquired identification and the password. In some embodiments, the wireless access point connection is suitable for terminal devices equipped with IOS11 and versions of the mobile operating system above.
According to the method for displaying the information of the wireless access point on the mobile terminal, the current network connection type of the terminal equipment is obtained under the condition that the information viewing operation associated with the wireless access point type application is received; and under the condition that the obtained current network connection type is the data network connection type, obtaining the information of at least one wireless access point nearby the terminal equipment, and displaying the information of at least part of the at least one wireless access point under the condition that the wireless access point type application is not opened. The method and the device realize that the information of the wireless access point is rapidly shown under the condition of not opening the application of the wireless access point class, thereby being beneficial to rapidly providing wireless access service for users.
With further reference to fig. 3, a flow 300 of yet another embodiment of a method of presenting information of a wireless access point at a mobile terminal is shown. The process 300 of the method for displaying the information of the wireless access point at the mobile terminal includes the following steps:
step 301, in response to the information viewing operation associated with the wireless access point application, obtaining the current network connection type of the terminal device.
In this embodiment, in a case that a terminal device (for example, terminal devices 101, 102, and 103 shown in fig. 1) on which a method for presenting information of a wireless access point by a mobile terminal operates receives an information viewing operation associated with a wireless access point type application, a current network connection type of the terminal device is obtained; in case the current network connection type is a data network connection type, performing step 302; in case the current network connection type is a wireless access point connection type, performing step 302'; in case the current network connection type is a no network connection type, step 302 "is performed. The network connection type may include, but is not limited to, a data network connection type, a wireless access point connection type, a no network connection type, and the like.
And step 302, responding to the obtained current network connection type being the data network connection type, and obtaining information of at least one wireless access point nearby the terminal equipment.
In this embodiment, in a case that the current network connection type is a data network connection type, the terminal device may obtain information of at least one wireless access point in the vicinity of the terminal device from a background server (for example, the network device 105 shown in fig. 1) applied in the wireless access point class through a wired connection or a wireless connection.
Step 303, information of at least part of at least one wireless access point is shown without opening the wireless access point class application.
In this embodiment, based on the information of the at least one wireless access point acquired in step 302, the terminal device may present information of at least some wireless access points of the at least one wireless access point without opening a wireless access point class application. Specifically, the terminal device may present the acquired information of all the wireless access points, or may select a part of the wireless access points from at least one wireless access point and present the information of the selected wireless access points. As an example, the terminal device may present information of one of the at least one wireless access point.
Step 302', in response to the obtained current network connection type being the wireless access point connection type, obtaining information of the currently connected wireless access point.
In this embodiment, when the current network connection type is a wireless access point connection type, the terminal device may obtain information of a wireless access point to which the terminal device is currently connected from a background server applied by the wireless access point type through a wired connection or a wireless connection.
Step 303', in response to that the information of the currently connected wireless access point satisfies the first preset condition, acquiring information of at least one wireless access point near the terminal device.
In this embodiment, based on the information of the currently connected wireless access point acquired in step 302', the terminal device may determine whether the information of the currently connected wireless access point satisfies a first preset condition; and acquiring information of at least one wireless access point near the terminal equipment under the condition that a first preset condition is met.
Wherein the first preset condition may include, but is not limited to, at least one of the following:
1. the signal strength is lower than a first preset signal strength threshold. As an example, the background server of the wireless access point application may count the average signal strength of the currently connected wireless access point within a preset time period (e.g., the previous hour) and use the average signal strength as the signal strength of the currently connected wireless access point. Here, the terminal device may compare the signal strength of the currently connected wireless access point with a first preset signal strength threshold; if the signal strength is lower than the first preset signal strength threshold value, the information of the currently connected wireless access point meets a first preset condition.
2. The stability is below a first preset stability threshold. As an example, the background server of the wireless access point class application may count the stability of the currently connected wireless access point for a preset time period (e.g., the previous 30 minutes) and determine the stability as the stability of the currently connected wireless access point. Here, the terminal device may compare the stability of the currently connected wireless access point with a first preset stability threshold; if the current stability is lower than the first preset stability threshold, the information of the currently connected wireless access point meets a first preset condition.
3. The network speed is lower than a first preset network speed threshold value. As an example, the background server of the wireless access point application may count the average network speed (including the uplink speed and the downlink speed) of the currently connected wireless access point within a preset time period (for example, the previous 30 minutes) and use the average network speed as the network speed of the currently connected wireless access point. Here, the terminal device may compare the network speed of the currently connected wireless access point with a first preset network speed threshold; if the current wireless access point information is lower than the first preset network speed threshold value, the information of the currently connected wireless access point meets a first preset condition.
Step 304', information of at least some of the at least one wireless access point is presented without opening a wireless access point class application.
In this embodiment, based on the information of the at least one wireless access point acquired in step 303', the terminal device may present the information of at least some of the at least one wireless access point without opening the wireless access point class application. Specifically, the terminal device may present the acquired information of all the wireless access points, or may select a part of the wireless access points from at least one wireless access point and present the information of the selected wireless access points. As an example, the terminal device may present information of one of the at least one wireless access point.
It should be noted that, in some embodiments, after step 302', the terminal device may directly display the information of the currently connected wireless access point without opening the wireless access point class application; that is, in this embodiment, the terminal device does not perform the operation of determining whether the information of the currently connected wireless access point satisfies the first preset condition.
