The set-top box information pushing method and the set-top box according to the embodiments of the present invention are described in detail below with specific embodiments. In the first embodiment, the location information of the user terminal will be described as an example.
First embodiment
When the set-top box 3 is turned on, the position information of the user terminal 4 such as a mobile phone and the like which establish communication connection with the set-top box 3 in the local area network is checked and stored. The location information of the user terminal 4 includes location information of a mobile phone terminal or other terminals with a positioning function, and includes current location information and historical location information. The location information of the user terminal includes both the location information of satellite positioning and the location information of various positioning modes such as base station positioning (LBS) and WLAN positioning. In addition, if an application program (APP) which is associated with the set top box 3 and can wake up the user regularly and push related information of the set top box is installed on the user terminal 4, the APP acquires the current position information of the user when waking up the user and stores the acquired position information in the APP server, and the position information which is most frequently located by the user and is obtained by processing the position information history record stored in the APP server can also be used as the position information of the user. When the user terminal 4 and the set-top box 3 are in the same local area network, the position obtaining module 7 in the set-top box 3 obtains and stores the position information of the user terminal 4 from the position updating module 5 on the user terminal 4. The following list 1 is used for management when managing the position information in the set-top box 3. The list is updated when a user terminal 4 with a different device identification establishes a communication connection with the set-top box 3.

When a user interactively watches videos with the set-top box 3, the server 2 issues related contents such as videos to the set-top box 3, and meanwhile, hot information and a pushing strategy contained in the pushed videos are issued. The set-top box 3 stores the received push strategy and then extracts the hotspot information contained in the video while providing the basic video service.
The set-top box 3 determines whether the position information contained in the hotspot information is matched with the position information of the user terminal 4 which is stored in the set-top box 3 and is currently in communication connection with the set-top box 3 through the push execution module 8, and when the two position information are matched, the requirement of a push strategy is considered to be met, so that information push is initiated.
When determining whether the two pieces of location information are matched, comparing the longitude and latitude in the location information of the user terminal stored in the set top box 3 with the longitude and latitude or the radius in the hotspot information, and if the longitude and latitude in the location information of the user terminal 4 falls within the longitude and latitude range in the hotspot information, considering that the two pieces of location information are matched to meet the requirement of a push strategy; or more complex location comparison strategies and digital map information can be prestored in the set-top box 3, and longitude and latitude in the location information stored in the set-top box 3 are matched with regional information in hotspot information, such as Nanjing city and certain street information, so as to judge whether the requirement of the push strategy is met.
If the two position information are matched with each other, the push interface module 9 on the set-top box 3 receives the push execution instruction, and presents the pushed information on the television according to the requirement of the push strategy.
When a plurality of user terminals 4 establish communication connection with the set-top box 3 in sequence, the set-top box 3 acquires historical position information of each user terminal 4, and judges whether to execute pushing according to a matching judgment result of the position information of the plurality of user terminals 4 and hotspot information of pushed contents. If some user terminals 4 in the plurality of user terminals 4 disconnect the communication connection with the set-top box 3, the relevant content at the corresponding positions of the disconnected user terminals is not presented on the television.
In this embodiment, in a large amount of push information pushed by the server 2, the set-top box 3 can present relevant pushed hotspot information on a television in combination with the position information of the user terminal 4 currently establishing communication connection with the set-top box 3, on one hand, the current position can be accurately obtained for pushing by a user, on the other hand, pushing can also be flexibly performed according to historical position information of the user, and information which is not interested by some users is relatively shielded, so that the user perception is better. In addition, since the set-top box 3 can filter the push information locally based on the location information, the server 2 only needs to add hot spot information to the push information uniformly without other improvements.
Second embodiment
Similar to the first embodiment, in the second embodiment, the hot spot information of the hot spot content pushed by the server includes other tag information besides the location information, so that the set-top box can filter the locally acquired tag information of the user in real time to obtain the related push information, and the specific manner is as follows:
after the set-top box 3 is started, the tag information on the user terminal 4, such as a mobile phone and the like which establish communication connection with the set-top box 3 in the local area network, is checked and stored in the local of the set-top box 3. The tag information can be tag information of content categories in which the user is interested, such as food, shopping, games, sports health and the like; a user age group; user gender, etc.
When the user interactively watches the video with the set-top box 3, the server 2 issues related contents such as the video and the like to the set-top box 3, and simultaneously issues the pushed hotspot information and the pushing strategy. The set-top box 3 stores the received push strategy and then extracts the hotspot information contained in the video while providing the basic video service.
The set-top box 3 determines, through the push execution module 8, whether the tag information contained in the hotspot information matches the tag information of the user terminal 4 currently establishing communication connection with the set-top box 3, that is, whether the requirement of the push policy is satisfied, and if the two tag information match, the requirement of the push policy is considered to be satisfied, thereby initiating information push.
If the two pieces of tag information are matched with each other, the push interface module 9 on the set-top box 3 receives the push execution instruction, and presents the pushed information on the television according to the requirement of the push strategy.
When a plurality of user terminals 4 establish communication connection with the set-top box 3 in sequence, the set-top box 3 acquires the tag information of each user terminal 4, and judges whether to execute push according to the matching judgment result of the tag information of the plurality of user terminals 4 and the hotspot information of the push content. If some user terminals 4 in the plurality of user terminals 4 disconnect the communication connection with the set-top box 3, the related content of the label corresponding to the disconnected user terminals is not presented on the television.
