Abstract

The system and the method for updating the content of the multimedia vehicle-mounted device can be applied to the mobile terminal device of outdoor media advertisements, such as advertising multimedia devices in taxis, and can also be applied to outdoor fixed multimedia advertising boards or indoor multimedia advertising devices as long as the multimedia vehicle-mounted device and the adjacent multimedia advertisements can form a local wireless or wired network, so that the sharing of local storage resources can be realized.
For convenience of description, the following description will be given by taking a mobile multimedia advertisement device (i.e., a multimedia vehicle-mounted device) installed in a taxi as an example, and in this embodiment, only two multimedia vehicle-mounted devices (i.e., the first multimedia vehicle-mounted device 2 and the second multimedia vehicle-mounted device 3) are taken as an example, so that in practical applications, a plurality of multimedia vehicle-mounted devices can be connected to each other in various ways, such as one-to-one or many-to-one or one-to-many, according to specific requirements, as long as the storage resources can be shared.

When the system shown in FIG. 1 is adopted to update the content of the first multimedia vehicle-mounted device 2 and the second multimedia vehicle-mounted device 3:
first, the first multimedia vehicle-mounted device 2 and the second multimedia vehicle-mounted device 3 respectively request the remote server 1 to issue the version number of the stored data packet through the mobile communication modules 21 and 31 periodically through the wireless mobile communication network, so as to check whether the remote server 1 provides a new version of the data packet. For example, after receiving the version number of the data packet stored below the remote server 1, the first multimedia in-vehicle device 2 compares the version number with the version number of the corresponding data packet stored in the local memory 22, and if the version number is consistent (or the local version number is equal to or greater than the version number issued by the remote server 1), it may be determined that the first multimedia in-vehicle device 2 does not need to perform version update, and after a preset time period (which may be set according to specific requirements or network parameters), it may be checked again whether the remote server 1 provides a new version of the data packet.

Secondly, when the first multimedia vehicle-mounted device 2 detects that a new version of data package (including a media file list and a plurality of media files) is stored in the remote server 1, the media file list of the new version of data package is downloaded by using the mobile communication module 21 through the wireless mobile communication network and is stored in the memory 22; the filtering module 23 obtains a list of media files missing in the updated version in the memory 22 according to the data information already stored in the memory 22 and the above-mentioned list of media files, and stores the list of missing media files in the memory 22.
Then, when the first multimedia vehicle-mounted device 2 is in communication connection with the remote server 1 through the mobile communication module 21 and is connected with the second multimedia vehicle-mounted device 3 through the Wi-Fi module 24; the first multimedia vehicle-mounted device 2 preferentially downloads the media files stored in the memory 32 from the second multimedia vehicle-mounted device 3 randomly or according to a set sequence (such as a sequence of the sizes of the media files) according to the missing media file list; if the corresponding media file in the missing media file list is not stored in the memory 32, other multimedia vehicle-mounted devices connected with the first multimedia vehicle-mounted device 2 through Wi-Fi are correspondingly searched, until all the multimedia vehicle-mounted devices connected with the first multimedia vehicle-mounted device 2 through Wi-Fi do not have the corresponding media file in the missing media file list, the corresponding media file in the missing media file list is downloaded from the remote server 1 through the mobile communication module 21, and until the corresponding media file in the media file list is stored in the memory 22, the first multimedia vehicle-mounted device 2 does not perform version updating operation to play new content or run a new system, and the like; therefore, the probability of downloading data from the remote server 1 can be reduced to the maximum extent, the sharing of data resources among the multimedia vehicle-mounted devices is further realized, the flow of downloading the multimedia vehicle-mounted devices through a wireless communication network is effectively saved, and meanwhile, the multimedia vehicle-mounted devices are in a motion state for most of time, so that the upgrading efficiency of multimedia vehicle-mounted device groups can be greatly improved.
Preferably, when the data stored in the memory 22 changes every time, the filtering module 23 obtains a media file list used for updating the version missing in the memory 22 according to the data information already stored in the memory 22 and the media file list, updates the missing media file list to the memory 22, and then downloads the media file by using the updated missing media file list.
It should be noted that, in this embodiment, only the first multimedia in-vehicle device 2 is taken as an example for description, and other multimedia in-vehicle devices (such as the second multimedia in-vehicle device 3) connected to the first multimedia in-vehicle device 2 through the Wi-Fi network may also perform the content updating operation, such as the first multimedia in-vehicle device 2, so as to implement real-time sharing of the storage resource.

the new version data packet stored in the memory of any one of the multimedia vehicle-mounted devices can be shared to the memory of another multimedia vehicle-mounted device through the Wi-Fi module.

6. The method for multimedia vehicle-mounted device content update according to claim 5, further comprising:
and when the multimedia vehicle-mounted equipment is in communication connection with the remote server and other multimedia vehicle-mounted equipment at the same time, downloading the media files matched with the local missing media file list from the other multimedia vehicle-mounted equipment preferentially according to the local missing media file list.

the multimedia vehicle-mounted equipment acquires the version number of the data packet stored in the remote server from the remote server through the wireless communication network every other preset time period;
