Description

Multi-television service system based on home network
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of digital families, in particular to a multi-television service system based on a home network.
Background
With the continuous development of information technology, more and more families have multiple televisions, and a simple and feasible multi-television service platform needs to be constructed. In a digital home interactive television system, it is currently the mainstream practice to have one set-top box corresponding to one television, that is, if one home has two television sets, two set-top boxes are used. However, this seemingly simple approach does not effectively solve the problem. From a home user perspective, set-top boxes have become an undesirable electronic device. The operator specifies that the first set-top box in each household is distributed, and the second set-top box needs to be purchased by the user, and most household users consider pricing too high. In addition, in order to use different televisions to watch different programs simultaneously, each television needs to be provided with a television cable, and the position of each television is fixed, so that the problem of inconvenience in placing the television is caused, and even additional household construction is required.
In general, the requirements of the home users on the multi-television service platform include the following three points: firstly, realizing an all-in-one machine as far as possible; secondly, a plurality of televisions can be conveniently moved and configured without additional household construction; thirdly, different television sets can be used simultaneously to watch different television programs.
The current common approach is to configure one set-top box for each television set. If a family has two televisions, the two set-top boxes are only configured, and then the users can watch the televisions respectively.
The method of configuring a set-top box for a television set does not meet the requirements of most households. If a family has two televisions, the two set-top boxes are only configured, and then the users can watch the televisions respectively. This is a straightforward idea. However, how is access to the television cable configured? It is naturally feasible if two access television cables are used to transmit the respective signals, as if two households each had a television. However, one access television cable has already sent all television programs to home, and the use of multiple cables can cause a resource waste problem. In addition, the multi-television platform constructed in this way causes problems of high cost, inconvenient moving and configuration, and the like.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to overcome the defects of the prior art, and provides a multi-television service system based on a home network, which can conveniently move and configure a plurality of televisions in a digital home, and different televisions can select different television programs.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a multi-tv service system based on a home network, the system comprising: home gateways and televisions; wherein,
the home gateway comprises a plurality of channel selection and program selection functional modules, and a conditional access and information source decoding functional module for sending television program signals to the television;
and the television is used for sending the program selection control signal to the channel selection and program selection functional module of the home gateway.
Preferably, the home gateway is also used for channel selection, demodulation, channel decoding and program selection.
Preferably, the conditional access and source decoding function of the television is further used for descrambling, program decomposition and source decoding.
Preferably, the channel selection and program selection function module of the home gateway is further configured to send a single television program signal to the conditional access and source decoding function module of the television.
Preferably, the single television program signal is a high-definition television digital signal or a standard-definition television digital signal.
Preferably, the communication mode between the home gateway and the television adopts statistical multiplexing or time division multiplexing.
In the embodiment of the invention, not only can a plurality of televisions be conveniently moved and configured, but also the plurality of televisions can receive different television programs; in a digital home, all broadcast television program signals can be transmitted to a home gateway through a one-line television cable; the television programs can be respectively shared among a plurality of television sets without an additional television cable.

Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a multiple television service system for receiving different television programs according to an embodiment of the present invention;
fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of multi-tv tuning in a home network in an embodiment of the present invention.
Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a multi-tv service system for receiving different tv programs according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, in this scheme, each tv is connected to a bus of the same home network. Whereas the bus can only carry digital signals. An intuitive solution is to digitize all broadcast television programs and send them to each television set simultaneously. In this case, a bus transfer rate of 108 × 38Mbps is required. It can be seen that this concept is not feasible. A solution which is not difficult to imagine is that each television set adopts a mode similar to 'video on demand' to respectively select a 'broadcast television' program from a home gateway. This operation is equivalent to selecting a program from a set-top box using a remote control. Therefore, the conventional "set-top box functionality" must be broken down, see fig. 1, placing the channel selection, demodulation, channel decoding, and program selection functions within the home gateway; the functions of descrambling, program decomposition and information source decoding are configured in the television or in the television adapter similar to the set-top box, and a plurality of televisions are respectively connected to the home local area network bus, so that the 'movable configuration of a plurality of televisions' can be realized, and 'no home construction is needed'.
The embodiment of the invention provides a multi-television service system based on a home network, which comprises: home gateways and televisions; the home gateway comprises a plurality of channel selection and program selection functional modules, and a conditional access and information source decoding functional module for sending television program signals to a television; the television is used for sending the program selection control signal to the channel selection and program selection functional module of the home gateway.
The home gateway is also used for channel selection, demodulation, channel decoding and program selection; the conditional access and source decoding function of the television is also used for descrambling, program decomposition and source decoding.
The channel selection and program selection functional module of the home gateway is also used for sending a single television program signal to the conditional access and information source decoding functional module of the television, and the single television program signal is a high-definition television digital signal or a standard-definition television digital signal.
In a specific implementation, the television cable already sends all the broadcast television programs to the home gateway, and a plurality of parallel 'channel selection and program selection function modules' are arranged in the home gateway, and respectively receive remote control from one television, so that the home gateway outputs the selected television program to the television. In this case, the conventional cassette function must be divided into two parts: the 'channel selection and program selection functional module' is placed in a home gateway, and the 'conditional access and information source decoding functional module' is placed in a television, wherein a 'single program transmission section' is formed, and only one 8Mbps (high definition television) or 4Mbps (standard definition television) digital signal is transmitted.
The home gateway and each television need to communicate with each other through a home local area network: the television sends a 'program selection control signal' to the home gateway; the home network sends a "television program signal" to the television set. The communication relation can act according to a local area network communication protocol; the communication utilization can adopt statistical multiplexing or time division multiplexing.
The signal tapping and information source decoding module is arranged in the television, and the on-demand function is realized between the television and the front end as usual. As shown in fig. 2, each television is connected to a home network bus, a function of selecting a television program is provided in a home gateway, and a function of selecting a source program is provided in a digital television, and each television selects a television program by remotely controlling the home gateway through a public home network by using a remote controller thereof.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that all or part of the steps in the methods of the above embodiments may be implemented by associated hardware instructed by a program, which may be stored in a computer-readable storage medium, and the storage medium may include: read Only Memory (ROM), Random Access Memory (RAM), magnetic or optical disks, and the like.
In addition, the multi-tv service system based on the home network provided by the embodiment of the present invention is described in detail above, and a specific example is applied in the present disclosure to explain the principle and the implementation of the present invention, and the description of the above embodiment is only used to help understanding the method and the core idea of the present invention; meanwhile, for a person skilled in the art, according to the idea of the present invention, there may be variations in the specific embodiments and the application scope, and in summary, the content of the present specification should not be construed as a limitation to the present invention.
