Abstract

The watch casing (8,9) includes a cylindrical seating (10) inside which a box (14) is fitted to hold the movement. The box is retained by an elastic torus shaped ring (13) which fits on the one hand into a channel within the cyilndrical seating, and on the other hand into a peripheral annular channel (15) on the box. The casing includes a metal frame to which the bracelet may be fastened, but need not itself be made of metal. The inner box may include a flexible base, allowing operation of electric contacts by applying pressure. USE - Non-metallic wrist watch casing.
