Description
Montre

Watch
The watch, which is the subject of the main patent, has at least two coaxial discs bearing, one the minute indications and the other the hour indications.
It is characterized by the fact that the indication of each hour carried by the disc is repeated and successively colored with two different colors, and that the indications carried by the minute disc are divided into two successive zones of different colors but identical to those of the hours disc, the first going from O to 29 and the second from 30 to 59 minutes.
The watch which is the subject of the present invention, according to the claim of the main patent, is characterized in that it comprises mounted coaxially with the two said discs at least one third disc bearing the indications of the seconds.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment and a variant of the dial and the discs of the watch according to the invention.
Fig. 1 represents the embodiment.
Fig. 2 is the variant thereof.
The coaxial disks of the watch shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 in the drawing are as follows: 1 designates the seconds disc, 2 the minutes disc, 3 the hours disc and 4 any date disc. The indications of these discs are readable through apertures la, 2a, 3a and 4a of dial 5.
The seconds disc 1 shows uniformly colored signs while the minute discs 2 show two differently colored areas. A first zone 0 at 29 minutes is for example blue in color, the second zone ranges from 30 to 59 minutes and is red.
The indication of each hour carried by the hours disc 2 is repeated and successively colored with two colors, thus the indication 1 of an hour appears successively in the window in blue then in red, that is to say in the same colors as the minute disc.
Reading this dial is extremely simple. There are always hour digits of different colors on the dial. To find out what hour corresponds to the minute marked by the index 6 (here 0 minutes in blue), we read the hour so as to make this blue color correspond to the number bearing this color in window 3a (here 2) as well the time indicated is exactly two o'clock. The seconds indication appearing in aperture 1a is uniform in color. Since it is exactly two o'clock, the number appearing in front of the index 6 is 60.
An additional disc 4 may be provided to indicate the dates. In this case, this disc, unlike the other three, will jerk one division every 24 hours as known.
CLAIM
Watch according to the claim of the main patent, characterized in that it comprises, mounted coaxially with the two said discs, a third disc bearing the indications of the seconds.
SUB-CLAIM
Watch according to claim, characterized in that it comprises a fourth date disc, coaxial with the first three.
