Description
Lifting device, in particular for a tipping body The object of the invention is a lifting device, in particular for a tipping body.
The object of the invention has been to provide a device allowing a very large amplitude of lifting without having to resort to a multiple expansion jack.
The lifting device, in particular a tipping bucket, is characterized in that it comprises, on the one hand, two arms respectively articulated by one of their ends on each of the elements whose relative displacement should be ensured and, by the other, on each of the ends of a pair of connecting rods and, on the other hand, a telescopic jack articulated on the arms at an intermediate point of their length.
The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows and on examining the appended drawings in which the fia. 1 and 2 show, partially broken away, a tipping body equipped with a device in the road position and in the tilting position, respectively, and FIG. 3 is a perspective of the device in the partially expanded position, the chassis of the bucket not being shown for a better understanding of the drawing.
In the figures, the truck comprises a frame C carrying at the rear of the bearings 1 on which the tilting subframe F of the bucket B is articulated about an axis a.
On the frame C and in a region preferably located in front of the load center of the bucket, is fixed a yoke 2 in which the end of the lower arm 3 is articulated about an axis b. Likewise, the upper arm 4 is articulated around an axis d in a yoke 5 secured to the tilting subframe F.
Each of the arms 3, 4 is made up of two flanges 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b between which the ends 7a, 7b, respectively of the body and of the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder 7, are articulated around axes f, g. The arms 3, 4 are interconnected by the pair of connecting rods 6 ,,, 61, articulated on the arms around the axes e, e '.
It should be noted that the axes f, g are offset away from the jack relative to the alignment of the joints e, d on the one hand and b, é on the other hand.
The cylinder 7 is obviously connected to a pump in a known manner, by flexible pipes ensuring the arrival of the discharge of the pressurized liquid. These devices, well known in the art, have not been shown in the figures.
The elements of the device are arranged and dimensioned in such a way that in the rest position of the bucket (fig. 1) the axes b and d are sensitive to the plumb with one another, the arms extending substantially horizontally, on either side of these axes, that is to say forwards for the arm 4 and rearwards for arm 3.
Fig. 1 shows that in this position the single-expansion cylinder 7, despite its relatively large length, fits very easily between the bucket and the frame in a position close to the horizontal.
When the pressure of the liquid is applied to this cylinder, the piston rod 7b expands, thus determining the pivoting of the arms 3, 4 around the joints e, by which each of them is articulated on the ends of the connecting rods 6d, 6b.
The entire device is then deployed symmetrically with respect to the connecting rods, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.
The device described above makes it possible, by the judicious choice of the ratios of the lever arms between the three points of application, that is to say the three axes of each rod, to achieve, as illustrated in FIG. . 2, to a very large multiplication coefficient of the stroke of the expansion element of the cylinder. This feature allows the articulation d and, consequently, the articulation b, to be pushed back clearly in front of the load center of the bucket. This arrangement is particularly advantageous in that it makes it possible to lighten the frame which no longer supports, at the point of application of the weight of the bucket, a limited force.
One could, for example, use the device in a tipping body otherwise fitted in a well-known manner so as to tilt, either to the rear or to one or the other of the lateral sides of the vehicle.
