 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

 EMI1.3

  By renting eyoteme, the C6n: Mu8 devices are practically removable, which entails the use of the Vehicle without its reiMï-qu <doa aooidshts frequent so that bdCasiontt6es injuries to the peers move to proximity of the vehicle eh parking or material damage caused to aubred vehicles during rear steps for example.

   The device, object of the present invention, overcomes the drawbacks mentioned above. He plans

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 the retraction or even the removal of the part of the coupling projecting out of the normal bulk of the vehicle and this in a very easy manner. It essentially consists of mounting the support on the vehicle by means of an articulation and a locking device in the working position and possibly in the retracted position.

   In order to better highlight the principle applied, the. The drawings below show by way of example and not by way of limitation an embodiment in accordance with the invention.

   To this end, Figure 1 is a schematic view of the underside of the rear part of a vehicle with a hooking device.

   Figure 2 is the section on 11-11 of Figure 1.

   FIG. 3 is an elevational view of the device in the working position.

   FIG. 4 is the section along IV-IV of FIG.

   The figure is the profile section through the device in the retracted position,
Referring to Figures 1 and 2, we see the arriving part of a vehicle represented by the hull 1 the rear axle 9 equipped with its wheels, the bumper 3 and the frame (different our @ model of vo @ res) this stitué for example of \\ 'spars 4 connected by the base 5 to which they are welded at one of their ends ±! their other ends being welded to the reinforcements provided in the hull 1 and intended to serve as a support for the supporting parts of the deck 2,

  . the two spars 4 being also attached near the base 5 to two bracone 6 welded to the hull 1.

   . In Figures 3, 4 and 5 we see the base 5 provided. .two perforations 7 serving as housing for bolts 8 with countersunk t8tes connecting the sole 9 of the device in which are

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 provided the perforations corresponding to said perforations 7.

  Along the horizontal edges of the sole 9 are welded spaced apart three b.uselures 10 and three knuckles 11, respectively above and below, the axes of which are located approximately in the plane of the face 12 of the sole 9.

  Between the nozzles 10 on the one hand and the knuckles 11 on the other hand are placed the two nozzles 13 and Ion two unemployed 14 respectively. These are welded to the vertical branch of the angle iron 15, the horizontal branch of which is provided with a bore 16 serving as a housing for the cylindrical rod 17 above which the spherical knee 18 is mounted, said cylindrical rod having a shoulder 19 resting on the edge of the bore 16 while its lower end is threaded to receive the ou 20.

   The nozzles 10 and 13 interposed between each other on the one hand and the also interposed oharnons 11 and 14 on the other hand are respectively crossed by the pins 21 and 22 in the outer parts of which are provided the notches 23 intended to receive the oroohets placed at the end of the springs 24, as well as on one side the handles 25. Advantageously a ring 26 under each spar 4 is provided, ring whose axis is located relative to that of the pin 22 at a distance equal to that separating; the axes of pins 21 and 22.

    The operation is therefore conceived as follows: after unhitching the trailer, the springs 24 are withdrawn then the spindle 21 is removed. The bracket 15 is rotated by approximately 270 until the axis of the pins coincide. rings 26 with that of the nozzles 10.

  The pin 21 is introduced through said rings 26 and the nozzles 13. It remains to replace the springs in the corresponding notches 23 of the pins, the device is thus retracted. To replace it, we will proceed in reverse.

   It is obvious that various constructive variants are possible both in the forms, the materials used or

 <Desc / Clms Page number 4>

 the constituent elements such as, .for example, the replacement of the springs by bungee cords or the replacement of the upper bueelures and their pin by any type of lock, except for this. depart from the scope of the present invention which may be characterized by the following.
