DISPOSITIF' DE FIXATION P.OUR SERVIETTES HYGIENIQUES.

FIXING DEVICE FOR HYGIENIC TOWELS.
The object of the present invention is to provide a fixing device for sanitary napkins combined with a means of protection against soiling of clothing.
According to the invention, the ends of a band, 12-14 µm wide, are secured at two diametrically opposed points of a belt, for example an elastic belt, said band preferably being of plastic or the like. the longitudinal edges of which are slightly gathered and to this band are attached fasteners, for example buttons, for attaching an ordinary sanitary napkin.
The description which will follow with reference to the accompanying drawing, given by way of nonlimiting example, will make it clear how the invention can be achieved.
the particularities which emerge both from the text and from the drawing forming, of course, part of the said invention.
In the drawing, 1 denotes a belt, for example an elastic band. The ends of a strip 2 made of plastic, rubberized fabric or the like are fixed at two diametrically opposed points of the belt. The longitudinal edges 3 of the strip 2 are slightly gathered by means of a rubber cord 4 sewn along these edges so as to give the strip the shape of a bag. Two pieces of tape 5 carrying buttons 6 for the attachment of an ordinary sanitary napkin (not shown) are sewn to the inner face of the strip 2. The fasteners of these pieces of tape are reinforced by transverse ribbons 7 sewn together. band 2.
To keep the gathered edges of the band 2 in place against the inner face of the thighs of the person wearing the device according to the invention, elastic thigh tapes 8 worn by other tapes of

preferably elastic tapes 9 attached to the belt 1, are sewn to the band 2. The elastic tapes 8 are preferably connected to each other and sewn across the band 2 to reinforce the latter. The belt as well as the ribbon 8 can be adjustable. These two elements may for example include elastic buttonhole tabs cooperating with buttons.
It has, however, been found that, if the band attached to the waistband is entirely of impermeable material, the upper parts which press against the body produce an unpleasant impression, because they prevent the natural respiration of the skin and cause perspiration. local tion.
According to another feature of the invention, the upper parts of the band attached to the belt are made of a permeable material, for example of Milanese silk.
