Abstract

The lamp standard fitting includes a reflector body (10) housing the reflector itself (30). At the end of the body distant from the post (90) on which the fitting is mounted is the movable socket carrier (40), the metal fitting (70) of the bulb being mounted in this carrier. Electrical connections are provided for this socket carrier, and consist of a first fixed connector and a second connector dependant on the socket carrier. Connection between the connectors is ensured by the movement of the socket carrier into or out of position within the reflector body. The connector is able to provide three supply contacts, for phase, neutral and the high tension output of a starter circuit. <IMAGE>
