   Bei elektrischen Anlagen zur Reinigung von Gasen entstehen im Gaskanal tote Räume, die nach Möglichkeit nicht von dem Gasstrom durchflossen werden sollen. Beispielsweise ist es nötig, den Gasstrom von den toten Räumen fernzuhalten, die die Isolatoren umgeben. 



   Erfindungsgemäss. werden deshalb die Elektroden an Platten befestigt, die den Kanal   abschliessen   und das Eindringen des Gasstromes in die toten Räume verhindern, Die Platten können eben oder gekrümmt sein und sowohl für die   Hochspannungs-wie   für die Niederschlagselektroden vorgesehen werden. 



   In den Fig. i und 2 ist ein Beispiel der Erfindung dargestellt, bei der die Hochspannungselektroden an Platten befestigt sind. Fig. i stellt den Aufriss, Fig. 2 den Grundriss der Anlage dar. Der Gaskanal 1 wird in Richtung der Pfeile von dem zu reinigenden Gasstrom durchflossen. Die Niederschlagselektroden, die beispielsweise aus aufrechtstehenden Netzen hergestellt sind, sind mit 2 bezeichnet, die   Hochspannungs-oder   Ausströmerelektroden mit 3. Diese hängen erfindungsgemäss an Platten 4, 5, 6, 7, die ihrerseits von Isolatoren 8, 9,   10, 11   getragen werden. Der tote Raum oder die Isolatoren umgibt, wird durch die Platten 4,   6,   6, 7 vom Gaskanal 1 abgesperrt.

   Diese Absperrung ist keine absolute, da die Hochspannung führenden Platten nicht unmittelbar mit den Wänden 13, 14 des Gaskanals in Berührung kommen dürfen. Hier bleiben schmale Schlitze, die je nach der Höhe der Spannung mehr oder weniger breit sind. Ebenso sind schmale Schlitze zwischen den einzelnen Platten gelassen, die nötig sind, falls die Hochspannungselektroden verschiedene Spannung führen oder ein leichter Ausbau der Platten gewährleistet werden soll. Trotz dieser Schlitze wird jedoch das Eindringen des Gasstromes in den toten Raum 12 genügend verhindert, da die Schlitze im Verhältnis zu den Gesamtabmessungen des Gaskanals immerhin klein sind und der Gegendruck im toten Raum 12 ein Eindringen des Gasstromes erschwert.
