Abstract

Se proporciona un dispositivo y método para administración transdérmica percutánea de un agente inmunológicamente activo. El agente es mezclado con surfactantes apropiados y disuelto en agua para formar una solución acuosa de revestimiento que tiene la concentración apropiada para revestir elementos de perforación de piel sumamente diminutos. La solución de revestimiento es aplicable a los elementos de perforación de piel utilizando técnicas de revestimientos conocidos y después es secada. El dispositivo es aplicado a la piel de un animal vivo, haciendo que las micros proyecciones perforan el estrato córneo y administren una dosis inmunológicamente eficaz del agente inmunológicamente activo al animal.
