Perhaps an unlikely recommendation but there are some prominent similarities:
-lots of bishies;
-Yaoi tropes;
-humour that verges on sheer absurdity, cringe even;
-highly enjoyable and addicting for a right viewer;
-emotional;
-has a gothic aspect/aesthetics;
-main duo dynamics ar somewhat similar and some side characters are similar as well;
-mansions and luxury.
I absolutely love both but BB certainly has a higher production level and overall a more serious tone.
