Nichibros is about a group of normal high school boys wanting to do eccentric stuff, while Watamote features an eccentric girl who wants to be normal. Both take place in a high school setting, make for very awkward situations and have the same line of humour.
While one is about the daily life of dorky high school boys, the other follows the daily life of a dorky high school girl. Both also have less than 15 episodes.

Like Watamote, Daily Life of High School Boys has comedy of what it's like being a high school student. However, Daily Life of High School Boys focuses on 3 outgoing teenage boys, while Watamote focuses on an introvert girl who is struggling to become popular in her school.

Both animes are based on people in highschool. They are both hilarious comedies that only has 12 episodes. Both if these animes are slice of life, so it focuses on the main character very often. Dans hi koukousei no nichijou has 3 main characters, while watashi only has one.
