Thanks! I feel the same. It's promising which is a good sign. The only difference is my expectations were super high due to the theme/setting and the animation. I love fantasy feudal Japanese settings like Basilisk and Rurouni Kenshin. And MAPPA has been on fire. The hype around it has been pretty high too. I may be nitpicking here but I felt like there was a lot of repetitive dialogue in the first 2 episodes. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
