Tired of watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Series? Watch these OVAs.
So, I just finished watching the spin-off of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable" entitled "Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai or Rohan Kishibe Does Not Move" with four episodes of OVAs themed and I'm going to make a review.
Before starting the discussion, I think I know why the title is "Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai or Rohan Kishibe Does Not Move" probably because the content in the OVAs only contains Rohan-sensei's the Comic Artists who sits quietly outside a shop in Morioh City and doesn't move while telling his friends about his random journey. He also filled
...
several monologues with good messages.
Okay, now we'll start to the the first episode whose title is "Fugou Mura" which means "Millionare Village". So the story goes that Rohan-sensei and his manga editor, Kyouka Izumi's, a woman, visited the village because she's intended to buy it and Rohan-sensei was also invited to there as reference material for his manga, there they were both greeted by a waitress namely Ikkyuu's and they both did various tests ordered by the owner of the house through Ikkyuu. I can't tell you what's going on here but I just can say nice Heaven's Door right there.
Continue to the second episode whose title is "Mutsukabezaka" which means "Mutsu-kabe Hill". I can say that it was a very bloody gore episode and I was really confused about what kind of reaction to watch it because on the other side it was funny. Overall very good.
Then to the third episode whose title is "The Run". This episode really fun to see two crazy peoples, one is Comic Artists and the other is Hermes, they're competing for cellphones while exercising on a treadmill. Well, you can watch it yourself and it can be made intense. Overall cool.
Last to the fourth episode or the final episode whose title is "Zangenshitsu" which means "At a Confessional". So the story is a flashback when Rohan-sensei went on vacation because of his manga was on hiatus and he visited a church and inside of the church he accidentally entered a small room which even though that room was a place for priests to consult with people who were in trouble, and there was a man inside and he told his problems to Rohan-sensei. I can't say much but well, at the end of the story we can be happy to see Rohan-sensei experience on his random journey.
Well, every episode of the case is different and the characters are different too and of course it's bizarre, the pace is slow but relaxing at the same time like listening to someone reading a fairy tale with a backward plot. The art, the animation, and the color design were comfortable to see as expected to David Production. Outstanding soundtracks, Kudos to Yuugo Kanno. The Opening theme is a dark vibe and the Ending theme is so soothing. Voice acting suits all characters and I have no problems. I love the atmosphere and well, I'm really enjoying the show and overall I would recommend for those of you who are tired of watching the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Series due to too many episodes and as a show that is relaxing and fun to follow also it's really entertaining.
