How many times have I rewatched this show? I don't know, but I do know that Adachi Mitsuru makes peak fiction. I am pretty sure this is the first Adachi Mitsuru show I watched.
I've literally watched every single Adachi Mitsuru anime adaption, and have read a few of the manga that didn't have an anime adaption, especially the Manga 'Katsu', which is literally one of his best works Imo. Basically every character(s) look the same and its all either consists of the same genres or themes of; baseball, boxing, romance, self development, highschool, and most of the time a childhood friend aspect. It did seem
...
like he tried pursuing water such as his swimming manga Rough, a manga called Jinbe, and always has beach/pool episodes, but probs gave up on the idea. Music is always fire with Adachi Mitsuru's work, its like they know they gotta cook fr. After rewatching and reading many of Adachi Mitsuru's works, I started to notice how he actually portrays characters in a realistic manner when it comes to expression.
An example of this includes the fact that Tatsuya literally feels burdened always being compared to other people *Tatsuya*. Kazuya is always being compared, and in comparison he is seemed as worthless individual with nothing to him. He is someone that gives up because he'd rather let the best for others, rather than for himself. Because he is burdened, he does not have any pride in himself, he has no faith in himself at the start of the show. He even states that he does worse and doesn't like it when people try and rely on him.
When Kazuya died, everyone put on a facade to seem happy, for example, when Kazuya died, Tatsuya tried pretending he was happy by pranking others and doing things to look like he did not care, when people would start talking about Kazuya's death, Tatsuya would try switching topics and clown on them to get them angry. Even though the Uesugi parents seem goofy asf, they really ain't that goofy. When Kazuya died, they even tried pranking Tatsuya to jumpscare him to put liveliness in the house, and one particular scene caught my attention. The father said that there was no point in being cheerful because it was just him and the wife at home. It's all a facade to seem cheerful and lively at home!!! Even though everyone dissed Tatsuya at the start of the show, Tatsuya's father literally threw a glass of water at someone for calling Tatsuya useless, even though he calls him useless himself. There are many more instances of realistic portrayals, unlike other anime that are so cliche, and I def recommend watching it as you would probably see more of it.
I haven't actually realized the portrayal of how Adachi Mitsuru uses realistic emotions until like idk my 6th rewatch of this series. Def a show that brings you in, its such a subtle, yet a realistic anime. An anime like this I would recommend is Cross Game, episode 1 also strongly portrays emotions of a child of not actually knowing what just happened, until you do. Really good anime, goes straight to the point. The 3rd rewatch of this show definitely feels at its best.

Its aight.
Would've preferred an anime adaption of the the first game; Onimusha: Warlords. Game is beyond peak and def was ahead of time. The synopsis of this anime claims to be in the Sengoku era, meaning that I believe this anime series in the same timeline as the other game series, most likely in the early 1600s of the Sengoku Era since the first game; Onimusha: Warlords, is set in the 1560s.
*The Sengoku Era is known to have started and ended between 1467 and 1615, and the other game series slowly span out to the late 1500s in the same timeline.
In terms of an
...
actual anime, its def a series to binge watch and chill. Animation is decent, and could see others questioning it, but it's not bad, just depends on their tastess

Surprised this manga only just over an audience of over 1000. This manga definitely deserves some popularity since its actually quite decent, although I cannot claim much as only 6 chapters has release. Since the MAL page still lacks information I'll try to create a synopsis based on what I have read.
The manga is a rom triangle where this high-school boy named Akizuki Sora. likes a girl named Fuwa Miya, however, Fuwa Miya likes Suzukaze Asahi, and Suzukaze Asahi likes Akizuki Sora. Very expected cliché moments that result in an anticipation appeal.
Akizuki Sora --> Fuwa Miya
Fuwa Miya --> Suzukaze Asahi
Suzukaze Asahi --> Akizuki Sora
At

the end of the day someone will lose fr.

The mangaka was definitely building up tension after chapter 1 in which anticipates the audience for something. It finally happens at the end of chapter 6. Although chapter 6 progression finally happened, but probs wont get any update for a few months.

Its not the best, nor the worst. The manga is aight. Nothing interesting has happened, and the first 11 chapters were quite boring innit. t doesn't feel unique at all. It feels like those average cliché highschool romcom where the mc with (a sort of) sad story has a reason why he doesn't interact with peers, yet has a friend with glasses, while also being with the most popular girl in the school.
Summary:
- MC saves heroine from slipping over on a rainy day and instead takes the fall and is drenched
- MC gets sick, so heroine tries to visit since MC lives alone
- Starts snowing
...
and heroine says she leavin the city cuz her family are in Hokaido innit
- MC asks if heroine wants to stay at his house
- Heroine proposes because they believe only married couples should live together
Basically just an average cliché rom anime with no originality

This is very mixed depending on how you perceive these type of mangas, however it is quite recommended. The manga starts off very well explaining the concept of the entire game, however after the first few chapters everything seems repetitive. It feels like there actually has been no actual progression between the two MC's. But despite being repetitive, the manga just makes you want to read more until the point where you get sick of it.
I recommend reading it in few chapters and coming back every few months. Its not like the mangaka uploads oftenly anyway.
Should u read it? maybe. its very slow paced and
...
repetitive.

This manga is actually quite underrated and its such a good read. Essentially its an average "character development" manga where mc gets strong. Story is both average and interesting.
Non-spoiler Summarised early plot:
- MC is a country boy that grows up with female childhood friend
- Childhood friend wants to follow into her father's footstep and become a knight, and wants to enter an academy designed for battling.
- MC asks childhood friend out and decides to go to academy with her
- Childhood friend is popular, famous and becomes one of the strongest student
- MC is in the lowest class for being weak due to his ability of
...
being "Suppression" which act as chains that restrict his actions
- False allegations of MC occurs of cheating
- Childhood friend believes the false allegations
- MC is isolated, hated, and so decides to train in the forest where he meets his sensei (whom also has had sad backstory)
- Then MC obiously becomes OP

First reviewer esh go. I do actually kinda dig the artystyle innit. Ion know bout' u but it looks exactly like the old artsyle for Detective Conan of when it first began, just in higher resolution. The only problem is that some characters looks so weird and strange due to the alteration of art style. I'm also quite glad they also use the same VA's.
The show is actually quite funny innit. Its quite understandable why its rated under 7. The plot of the series is about a quite unknown figure named Hanzawa that moves to Beika City, where all the crime basically exists in Detective
...
Conan. For some quite reason Hanzawa looks up to the various criminal activity that occurs and wants to start doing criminal activity such as murder.
Detective Conan betrays the expectations of the public eye with various different aspects such as murder, drug usage, gang violence, etc... However, this series just seems like a kid show with a bunch of cliché moments that interrupts the mc's mentality of actually committing a crime.
It'd be quite cool if they made it like the series Kid Kaito. Kid Kaito is an alternative story of a phantom thief that rivals with Conan and DOES appear in the base show Detective Conan. Maybe they can somehow implement Hanzawa innit. idk.
Overall: Watch it if u bored its quite funny innit, however it ain't part of main story or non

Fun fact: We all know Adachi likes to references each of his works in each anime. Adachi will always include either baseball, boxing, swimming, or all of them in all his works, even if its just subtle. Its almost like all his works are in the same universe. We actually get a reference to Idol Ace, which is from the manga 'Short Program 3' by Adachi in Cross Game (ep18).
Morale of this story is that, "Peeping is a crime." This is an animation made by Adachi Mitsuru and is a pretty good advertisement in terms of stylistic features. Ratings are biased due to my favouritism
...
towards Adachi Mitsuru's work, however this advertisement is pretty cool. I don't understand why people give low scores to this, as the people that have watched this probably appreciate Adachi's work. Not everything can be an anime, and this was a pretty cool advertisement in terms of both the release of Idol A and giving a morale story.
Off-topic because I believe mods won't read this, but lets be real the main character of Idol A, Satomi Azusa, is an exact replica of Katsuki Mizutani. Literally both characters share the same hair shape unlike the short hairs from H2, Cross Game, Nozomi Witches, Slow Step, Miyuki, Hiatari Ryoukou, Mix, Nine, Rough, Slow Step and Natsu no Rakugaki, it is the exact same. Even the eyes are the same colour, blue, which are the only two female characters Adachi has made with blue eyes. I think. It may probably be hard to depict the differences between each character as literally everyone made by Adachi looks the same from other anime/manga, including Touch and many of his other work.

Major is soo good. Its not very often to find an anime that looks like for kids from the front cover, but turns out its an anime suitable for older ages. Season 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and the 2 new seasons for the new generations of Major are as great as the old generation.
Ive rewatched every season twice at the time of review, and this review was right after finishing the World Series OVA.
