Kaijuu 8-gou

Giant Monsters: Both series feature colossal creatures that pose a significant threat to human civilization. In both these series we have a main character (Kafka in Kaijuu no.8 and Yuuma in World Trigger) who joins a military-like Defense Force, while technically being the enemy that the Defense Force fights against (Kafka is a Kaijuu and Yuuma is a Neighbour)! And there's also that other main character (Ichikawa in Kaijuu no.8 and Mikumo in World Trigger) who learns about the secret and helps the other to cover it up. Also, Kaijuu and Neighbours are monsters that no one expects to be humanoid, at first. In Enen no Shouboutai and Kaijuu 8-gou, we have: 1. Organization that specialized in killing monster-like creatures. 2. The organization divided into squads, and both anime focused the story to one of the squads. 3. Main protagonist got a power that are different from the others. 

Black Clover and Kaijuu 8-gou both have squads that protect the kingdom/country from enemies. The squad members get along like family. They also have pretty similar art style. 

• Both are underdog stories where a weak protagonist suddenly become the strongest. • Generic plot but there are tons of action scenes with great animation which will keep you engaged. • There is a difference in Anime and the Manga/Manhwa artstyle in both the series.  

The protagonists made the promise with their childhood best friend to be the best in their occupation (Wistoria: Magia Vander. Kaiju no8: commander of the defense force). They grow up and only the friend did it and the protagonists make their best to be by their side. 

A world were mindless monsters constantly invade, with an organisation made to counter the threat. The stronger monsters have higher intelligence, and the stronger fighters of the organisation are forced to fight these monsters. 

If you were drawn to the intense battles and emotional depth of "86," "Kaiju No. 8" offers a similarly gripping experience. Both series excels in portraying the harsh realities of war against monstrous threats, with a focus on human resilience and societal issues. Both have trained soldiers fighting in a brutal war to protect humanity from threats. Both narratives are rich with complex character development, moral ambiguity, and well-choreographed action scenes. 

Both shows are about a world where large, medium and small monsters invade a city, and how a specialized squad is responsible for eliminating them. 

Ordinary People, Extraordinary Powers: Both series feature protagonists who are initially ordinary people thrust into extraordinary circumstances. Kafka Hibino and Ichiro Inuyashiki both undergo drastic physical transformations that grant them superhuman abilities. Moral Dilemmas: Both characters grapple with the ethical implications of their newfound powers. They struggle to balance their desire to help others with the destructive potential of their abilities. Identity Crisis: The physical transformations lead to both characters questioning their own identities and their place in the world.  

Gantz and Kaijuu No.8 both delve into the theme of individuals harnessing advanced plugsuits that grant physical augmentation akin to a power-up mechanism, providing enhanced strength, speed, and durability in order to combat and overpower formidable foes, be it space aliens or giant monsters. 

It's not very hard to see the similarities between Bleach and Kaiju No. 8. You can just say it's probably inspired by Bleach. Both Characters has entities inside of them. Ichigo has Vaso Lorde Hollow while Kafka has its Kaiju. Also, both characters Ichimaru Gin Captain of the 3rd Division is suspiciously similar to Soshiro Hoshina Vice Captain of (guess what?) 3rd Division as well. Also, Kaiju has a striking resemblance to Hollow with the strongest having a Humanoid form (Vasto Lorde). To add, the Kaiju Defense Force has the same structure as Soul Society. This maybe spoiler but if there's a certain character in the future that has the same characteristics of Kyouraku. You can also add the concept of Living Weapon where Shinigami and Arrancar has Zanpakutou vs Kaiju Weapon. Also, Kafka's release for is like Resureccion form of an Arrancar. read more 

This is like Evangelion if you turned it into a typical action shounen. In addition, it is produced by Studio Khara which is owned by Hideaki Anno, the creator of Evangelion. Both feature transformation related to monstrous enemies with some parallels like a specialized self-defense force and character building based on childhood trauma dynamics.

Kafka in Kaiju No. 8 becomes a human-Kaiju hybrid, while Shin in Zetman develops superhuman abilities through genetic manipulation.
