Has lots of demons and fighting in it. There are little parts of comedy and romance. The main character is a demon like inuyasha but only 1/4 blood is demon

Both characters have something to do with demons and they both have powers sleeping inside them that they can use only when certain conditions are meet, in Ao no Exorcist Rin gets his powers when he draws his sword, in Nurarihyon, Rikuo can only transform at night

I've always felt Nurarihyon no Mago was strongly influences by Yuu-Yuu-Hakusho despite one dealing with a human gaining supernatural powers and another who is a demon hybrid. The characters in both series are quite colorful, but the demons stand out as being unique as well rather than run of the mill generic like some other series.

-Main character's hides his abilities and wonders if his friends find out , they may think that hes weird -Creatures that cant be seen by humans / hide from humans

Nurarihyon's Hagoromo Gitsune arc is eerily similar to Bleach's Soul Society arc. It starts with the a character getting kidnapped, the main character is forced to train in preparation of the inevitable invasion they need to do to get said character back. The invasion fails in case of the entrance so they need to improvise another plan to enter. With them traveling to retrieve their friend they get stronger in the process. The main character has to fight an enemy that only wishes to fight the stongest. At the end a character pulls an "Aizen" and all hell breaks loose.

These both give the same vibes. They both have ninja like characters and were at peace for a long time until someone ruins the peace.

Both are shounen with a dark atmosphere at times (Nurarihyon is more light-hearted in the first season). Both contain historical elements from Japan, although Nurarihyon's setting is modern Japan (for the second season, there is an important flash-back in Edo era rather than Taishou era for Kimetsu no Yaiba). Both MC are fighting demons (youkai or ayakashi) who eat humans, but the MC is one quarter youkai himself (still far from Nezuko). Both MC use a special katana to fight. Both are Nekketsu shounen and both MC fight overpowered enemies (in season 2 mostly for Nurarihyon). Both get stronger by training in a forest (season 2). Both main antagonists are immortal  read more

Both Anime has Demons and Exorcist of different type. Nurarihyon story is mostly located in Japan where are D.Gray-man story location is through out the world. The Antagonist on D.Gray-Man looks funny but suprisingly strong along with some of his followers. D.Gray-Man is definitely not to be missed.

Both Tsuna and Rikuo are getting stronger in order to face one of their greatest threats. Both are expected to become leader of group through bloodline.

Both anime have something to do with supernatural beings, they both eliminate demons and ghost both main characters are incarnation of the greatest evil, well one is, the other is the son of the greatest evil. Their life style is also similar, both act casual in the morning, chat to friends, school work, etc. But when night comes they both become a totally different person

both animes story line is about youkais! the stories in general are different but it's the same when it comes to youkais and a lead character who wants to protect everyone! both anime are exciting and deserve watching!!

Both of these Anime feature a male lead with semi to full slice of life style storyline dealing with the supernatural events going on around them that cause them to be different from the rest of the world. They are also dealing with their grandparents legacies.

Both deal with the spiritual world and both man characters are powerful, but powerless because they don't know how to use it.

Both about youkai and onmyouji. Main characters have something in similar too. Like both are grandsons of a great person that need to be surpassed. ( Nurarihyon in case of Rikuo and Abe no Seimei in case of Masahiro)

A group of people who get along to varying degrees must work together to protect the capital (former in the case of Nurarihyon no Mago, current in the case of Sakura Wars) from a supernatural enemy of great proportions.

Both series left the school life from previous seasons and focus more on plot and fight scenes.
