    • Hook the peep chain earlier.
    • We should work from 5.8.1 on, not 5.8.8, as declared in previous releases.
    • Avoid a couple of C compiler warnings.
    • Make the replacement logic work on Perl 5.11.2+.
    • Document a caveat around aliasing subroutine calls without parens on Perls prior to 5.11.2.
