"You're not prepared to deal with the truth...are you?"

A mysterious golden letter is sent to a select number of people... Its contents are unknown.

Project Kat is a short, unconventional RPG horror game in which there is always another way. Solve puzzles, make friends (or not), and guide Kat as she attempts to uncover the mystery behind a strange golden letter.

This is a story-based puzzle game where each puzzle has multiple solutions and outcomes! There is always another way.
The game is playable in about 45 minutes and contains multiple endings depending on your actions.

This is the prologue to Paper Lily, the full game (currently in development), but it's also a standalone story that can be enjoyed on its own.

Warning:

May contain flashing lights, some blood and unsettling scenes. Proceed at your own risk.
Just kidding it's really not that bad. But still it's a horror game :)

IMPORTANT! <3

We are 2 idiots making this game in our free time and this is our first project of this size! We would love you for eternity if you could leave us a comment here or a review on Steam!!!

Thank you!!

BRO IM SO HAPPY THOSE ANNOYING GIRLS DIED (im officially going to start a campaign to get cory to play this) WHO WANTS TO SPAM COMMENT  ON CORY'S VIDEOS TO PLAY PROJECT KAT AND PAPER LILY?

(+1)

Bro spoiler

Loud lad, calm down and try not to scream about the game's events. People are here to download it, no?
Additionally, spamming becomes very annoying very swiftly. There is a reason it is frowned upon.

Really fun and unique. I love the art style.

App is damaged on Mac

Does not work on Mac! It says the app is damaged!

Pasting from description :)

Kinda late to the party but this game is amazing. The cute anime art mixed with the horrifying imagery is so well done, and man I loved all the endings. Also, the secret achievements you can get for thinking outside the box are so unique!!

Here's my full playthrough of the game with all the endings and achievements. Hope you enjoy! ^-^

Hello what coding program does this use????

i think they used godot gd or c# within the engine itself (godot has an inbuilt IDE)

Another amazing game that works on every OS

There's always another way, probably, but I am not sure how to avoid the events of true ending K1 and get out

Love the game, music and CGs, looking forward to it's development

Is there a way to get the very old version of the demo?

I'm one of these people who collect old vers of games to see the before and after

(+2)

THIS GAME WAS FIRE! I only got one of the endings but that alone made me even more interested to see what else this game has in store.
(+1)

It's super interesting, I highly recommend it. The plot captivated me pretty fast and entertained me a lot, and you know what? I HAVE NOT FINISHED IT YET, I still have to discover the other endings.

keep up the amazing work you 2 !!

(+3)

HOLY MOTHER OF MATPAT

I played this for a video not  expecting too much but OHOHOHOHOHOOHOHOHOHO I WAS WRONG

The art was just beautiful, the gameplay was SUPER amazing, the sprites and environments, although being for a dark and spooky game, were very detailed and kind of bright, in their own way. 10/10, Indie Game of the Year.
