Modified SERVQUAL model was adopted to undertake the study. Data was collected through questionnaires to measure service quality and students' satisfaction. Interview was also conducted to triangulate information obtained through questionnaire. Stratified sampling technique was used in the study. The study developed and analyzed five hypotheses using regression and correlation analysis, whereas ANOVA and T-test were used to measure the level of significance between means. The result revealed that students in Awaro and Woliso campuses were not satisfied with some services delivery at the university. The findings indicated empathy explains variation in service quality (R 2 =0.58) and has strong relationship with student satisfaction followed by responsiveness, reliability, assurance and tangibility dimensions. Therefore, empathy and responsiveness had the most significant contribution on students' satisfaction in all campuses of the university. The differences in gender, year of studies and age had no significant relation with students' satisfaction where as campus difference showed significant relationship. However, campus difference had no significant disparity in students' satisfaction in the case of students resided in Awaro and Woliso campuses. The study suggested that management at different levels of the University should give due attention to deliver quality services especially in empathy and responsiveness dimensions of service quality to maximize student's satisfaction.

However, empirical and environmental scan evidence shows that low technological innovativeness of small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Addis Ababa. Thus, this study examines barriers for technological innovation in SMEs. The data for the study was collected from four selected sub cities of Addis Ababa SMEs (Akaki, Bole, Kirkos and Yeka). The questionnaires were distributed randomly for 207 SME managers and/or owners to gather the needed information. The data gathered from managers or owners’ using ordinary scale was analyzed quantitatively. On the other hand, interview data from official of sub cities was analyzed qualitatively. The mean, mode, percentage, and correlation analyses were used to process variables and data analysis. The result of this study indicates that the major barriers of introducing or expanding technological innovation for the sa...

The study employed Logistic Regression technique to estimate the determinants of self-employment. The study came with the finding that age of the respondents, educational attainment, household size, having self employed parent, inheritance, and access to credit variables have significant and positive influences on the decision to participate in self employment. On the othe...

Therefore, this study aimed at identifying the major determinants of MSEs growth in West Shoa Zone, Oromia region, Ethiopia. In the study, both qualitative and quantitative research methods were used. Primary data was obtained using questionnaires. Stratified sampling was used to select proportional number of samples from the study area. The study used Chi-square and logistic regression to measure the association and determine growth probability of MSEs, respectively. The result of the study revealed, Entrepreneurial competency, managerial skills, market access, innovation, high initial investment size, access to finance and manufacturing sector variables were identified as a major determinant of growth of the MSEs in the study area.
