Linear age progression models which are largely used in prototype and conventional approaches usu... more Linear age progression models which are largely used in prototype and conventional approaches usually produce synthesized images that are lack of quality because of the aging variations. Therefore, in this paper, a facial age progression model that captures non-linear age variances is designed by using a deep learning-based method called Generative Adversarial Network. The proposed face aging model aims to achieve convincing and visually plausible aging effects by controlling the age attribute. The model first maps the face via a convolutional encoder to a latent vector, then the vector is projected by a deconvolutional generator to the face manifold based on age, and finally the encoder and the generator are imposed on two adversarial networks respectively. تحويل النص إلى كلام منطوق هوعبارة عن قدرة الالة علي قراءة نص مطبوع ككلمات منطوقه. لقد تم التوسع ف... more تحويل النص إلى كلام منطوق هوعبارة عن قدرة الالة علي قراءة نص مطبوع ككلمات منطوقه. لقد تم التوسع في هذا المجال بسرعة كبيرة جدا خلال السنوات القليلة الماضية بسبب مجموعة واسعة من التطبيقات التي تتطلب تفاعل الإنسان مع الإله. ومن المعروف أن اللغة العربية تتمتع بقدرات صوتية هائلة تفوق ما تحمله اللغات الأخرى، مما يتطلب وضع أنظمة برمجية قادرة على استيعاب النص العربي وإمكانية تحويله إلى صوت منطوق. ويتكون نظام النطق الآلي من برمجيات وخوارزميات معقدة بهدف الخروج بصوت مفهوم وقريب من الصوت الطبيعي للإنسان. نود الاشارة هنا أن الجهود المبذولة في الناطق العربي الآلي متواضعة وحديثة العهد ، وهي نظم مغلقة المصدر ومحدودة الاستخدام . سنتناول في هذه الورقة بناء نظام قائم على حكم النص إلى كلام باستخدام تقنية التركيب المختلط أومايعرف بالتوليف الهجين. استخدام نموذج الجيبية Sinusoidal model باستخدام الصوتيات كوحدة للكلام. حيث تم بناء مجموعة من القواعد لتحويل الحروف الي أصوات و معجم استثنائ لتغطية الكلمات التي لا تتبع القاعدة المتبعة. تم تطبيق نبرة الصوت لتدقيق الكلمات العربية وقد تحقق ذلك بنجاح مما ساهم في الجودة الشاملة للاصوات المنتجة. نتائج التقييم توضح مستوى عال من الجودة مع طبيعية صوت مقبولة حيث وصلت الي 3.458 من 5

Therefore, the image multimedia is a crucial issue in our daily life. It may be categorized the digital multimedia over still image or a video image. Digital multimedia transmission helps everyone to keep information fresh where they can access it everywhere, anytime. In this paper, an adaptive image enhancement using different enhancement technique was developed. The focus in this work is to create an adaptive program that can improve the appearance of digital images by clicking on a single button. Images might suffer from the lack of brightness, overexposed to luminance, blurriness and noise from low light exposure. The adaptive image enhancement used different types of enhancement techniques in spatial domain. The results from the simulation shows the value of peak signal to noise ratio and the mean square error that will be used to calculate the difference in both original and enhanced images.

In this paper, we present the interpixel redundancy between the neighboring pixels and exploit th... more In this paper, we present the interpixel redundancy between the neighboring pixels and exploit the intensity similarities of the them in serial scan vectors of the images to develop a simple system for a lossless image compression scheme and show that the process is reversible. This algorithm is called Neighboring Zero Coding (NZC); it is based on the common characteristic of that imags as neighboring pixels are highly correlated. The proposed method is a kind of integration in the coding phase and it is a form of prediction in the decoding phase, it can integrate more than 65 percent of the image coefficient to zeros. The NZC method resulting in, on average, lossless compression to about 1.65 b/pixel from 8 bits with a different high-resolution digitized computed tomography and magnetic resonance images with comparable signal to noise ratio, in addition, the algorithm coding and decoding procedure are extremely fast.

Initially, speech synthesis generated human voice that lacked emotional expression. This kind of speech does not encourage users to interact with computers. Emotional speech synthesis is one of the challenges of speech synthesize research. The quality of emotional speech synthesis is judged by its intelligibility and similarity to natural speech. High quality speech is achievable using the high computational cost unit selection technology. This technology relays on huge sets of recorded speech segments to achieve optimum quality. On the other hand, diphone synthesis technology utilizes computational resources and storage spaces. Its quality is less than unit selection, however, due to the introduction of many digital signal processing algorithms such as the PSOLA algorithm, more natural results was achievable. Emotional speech synthesis research has two significant trends. The first is unit selection based synthesis that aims to fulfill market needs regardless of resource utilization, and the second is diphone based synthesis that is often non-commercial, and oriented to develop intelligent algorithms that utilizes minimum resources to achieve natural output. In this work, the possibilities of achieving high quality speech using low computational cost systems are investigated. The diphone synthesis is chosen as the speech synthesis technology. The existing approaches to emotional emulation are analyzed to determine aspects that could be further enhanced. Two aspects are highlighted: formant relation to emotions and the deterministic nature of pitch pattern relation to emotion. These algorithms do not receive much attention from the existing approaches. Two algorithms are proposed to address these two aspects: formant manipulation, and deterministic pitch pattern generation algorithm. These algorithms are incorporated into one TTS system. The quality of speech synthesis of the proposed system is evaluated using the recently developed objective evaluation methods. The results show significantly small values of simulation error, the mean square error values for happy, sad, fear and anger emotions respectively are: 0.03225, 0.12928, 0.02513 and 0.02429. This margin of error value provides an evidence of the accuracy of the proposed system.

Also, there are many applications of MANETs that involve point-to-multipoint or multipoint-to-multipoint communication patterns. Disaster recovery, search and rescue, military applications, video conferencing or class room settings, public events, interactive television, temporary offices and multi-partiy gaming are common examples of these application [1]. As a consequence, multicast routing has received significant attention over the recent days. Multicast communication is emerged to support applications that facilitate effective and collaborative communication among groups of users with the same interest. Multicasting is a scheme for sending the same data from a source to a group of destinations. This is efficient in saving the bandwidth and improving the scalability, which is essential in MANETs [2]. Multicast routing protocols is a transmission mechanism that allows a single data packet sent by a source to be replicated by intermediate nodes at each branching point of disjoint paths as necessary and passed to a selected subset of all possible destinations[3]. Multicast routing provides a more efficient solution than unicasting the data packets to each node separately or broadcasting them throughout the network. It reduces the transmission overhead both on the source as well as on the network nodes and speeds up the delivery of information at the destinations. الفيديو هو واحد من المجالات الهامه والحيوية في نظام الاتصالات العالمية ومعالجة البيانات. وينقسم إ... more الفيديو هو واحد من المجالات الهامه والحيوية في نظام الاتصالات العالمية ومعالجة البيانات. وينقسم إلى قسمين الخادم والعميل متصلين عبر الشبكة. يهتم الفيديو (video streaming) بدفق بيانات الفيديو من الخادم إلى العميل عبر الشبكة بالسرعة ومع أقل قدرمن فقدان البيانات. و هذه الدراسة تقترح تقنية تدفق الفيديو في جانبي المرسل والمستقبل وإمكانية تقليل كمية البيانات المنقولة في جانب المرسل، وإمكانية استرجاع البيانات التي تم اسقاطها في جانب المستقبل . لزيادة المرونة والقدرة على التكيف الفيديو فإن تقنية تدفق الفيديو المقترحة شًيد نظام المتغيرات التشغيلية (operational parameters) و تم تحديد مدي لقيم هذه المؤاشرات. ثم تم تطبيق تقنية تدفق الفيديو المقترحة علي ثلاثه عينات من الفيديو. يقوم الخادم قبل ارسال دفق الفيديو بتقليل عدد الإطارات المكونة لشريط الفيديو من خلال تطبيق قيم المؤاشرات التشغيلية علي الفيديو المدخل وايضا في الجانب الآخر عند المستلم يتم استرجاع هذه الإطارات التي تم اسقاطها. و يتم قياس جودة الفيديو الناتج أو الإطارات التي أعيد بناؤها عند طريق اسلوب قياس قياسي يسمي (PSNR) وتخلص الدراسة إلى أنه باستخدام هذه التقنية المقترحة دفق الفيديو أنة من الممكن تقلل من كمية البيانات المنقوله من خلال إسقاط بعض إطارات الفيديو عند جانب المرسل وإعادة بناؤها عند جانب المستقبل
User demands of video quality are increasing rapidly. Videos streaming providers have been trying... more User demands of video quality are increasing rapidly. Videos streaming providers have been trying hard to fulfill users' requests of best video qualities over heterogeneous networks. However it is extremely challenging to meet adequate bandwidth which guaranty users' pleasance. With current portable devices, users change dynamically their positions and demands, thus anticipating the distribution methods of bandwidths and channel capacities. Two modules are used to perform the quality adaptation: the First Adaptive Video Quality (FAVQ) and the Refined Adaptive Video Quality (RAVQ). Both modules form the algorithms that match the layers with resources available at the peer. On one hand, to determine the highest potential layer which user can retrieve and play, the FAVQ is used and perform at session start. On the other hand, due to the changes in environmental network, the RAVQ is performed regularly to adjust the layer accordingly. JSVM 9.14 was used for performance evaluation of the developed schemes. This study manage to formulate the problem as bandwidth reduction and still achieve short delay and maintain acceptable video streaming quality base on scalable video coding (SVC).
