Abstract

Die geringe Dynamik des Welthandels und eine schwache Entwicklung von Konsum und Investitionen im Inland ließen im III. Quartal 2012 in den österreichischen Bundesländern kaum Wirtschaftswachstum zu. Die konjunkturbedingte Schwäche von Außenwirtschaft wie Binnennachfrage dämpft die Wirtschaftsentwicklung auf sektoral breiter Front. Die aktuellen Unterschiede im regionalen Konjunkturverlauf sind daher kaum durch die regionale Wirtschaftsstruktur bedingt. Die Beschäftigung entwickelt sich gemessen am Konjunkturbild günstig, mit Vorteilen für das Burgenland und Westösterreich.
