termtitle add filename to preexec

So I like the example of setting "the titles to show the command name typed by the user while the command is being executed and then the current directory name after the command ended" by doing:

zstyle ':zim:termtitle' hooks 'preexec' 'precmd'
zstyle ':zim:termtitle:preexec' format '${${(A)=1}[1]}'
zstyle ':zim:termtitle:precmd'  format '%1~'

But I want to add the filename after the command especially if it's for stuff like vim.

I tried adding %N and %x at the end of preexec but it just outputs termtitle_update_preexec and /home/user/.zim/modules/termtitle/init.zsh respectively. %~ just gives me the working directory and not the filename, which is closer though.

However, I noticed it will display that for everything including when runnning yay and ranger not just opening a file with vim.

How can I display the open file properly and is it possible to only display when files are open? Ideally it would be something like vim - /path/to/file. If there is no file, it should only display the command name.

Also, when opening vim via ranger, the title stays at ranger.

After playing around, I think the best solution I found to all my questions is this:

zstyle ':zim:termtitle:preexec' format '${${(A)=1}}'
