AzureHDInsight

Creating a cluster in the Azure Cloud.

Prerequisites

Before you begin this tutorial, you must have:

  • Azure subscription: To create a free one-month trial account, browse to Get Azure for Free

Step 1:

Go to Azure alt text

  • Click on the My account

Step 2:

  • Now click on the portal option as shown in the image below alt text

Step 3:

  • Sign in with the Microsoft account on which you actiavted the azure trail alt text

Step 4:

  • Now click on the create Create a resource as shown in the image below alt text

Step 5:

  • Browse for Data+Analytics and then click on HD_Insight alt text

Step 6:

  • Now you can see cluster configuration Options
  • click on Basic Configuration
  • Enter the cluster Name
  • Select the Subscription ( in my case it is enterprise, you can choose which is avilable to u) alt text
  • Select the type of cluster you want as shown in the images below alt text
  • Give a cluster login name and password
  • leave the secure shell login name as default and tick the check box
  • Create a Resource Group ( My case i have one, so i did'nt create a resource group)
  • select the location alt text
  • click on the next

Step 7

  • Now u r in the Storage configuration
  • no changes in the Primary storage type & selection method
  • gave a name for create a new storage account
  • Then click on next alt text

Step 8

  • this step just gives the summary
  • click on create alt text

  • Use the URL to acess the cluster
  • Enter the user name and the password
  • user name : admin
  • password: Hadoop@mgads2017
