Use Dimensions with CosmosDB provider

I would like to know if it is possible to scrape muti-dimensional metric on CosmosDb. I did not managed to make it work, I get always the Data Size of the whole CosmosDb instance, not per database size.

I checked the documentation and tried the following:

metrics: 
  - name: azure_cosmosdb_data_usage_total
    description: "Total data usage"
    resourceType: CosmosDb
    azureMetricConfiguration:
      metricName: DataUsage
      dimension:
        Name: DatabaseName
      aggregation:
        type: Total
    resources:
    - dbName: <DB-INSTANCE-NAME>

I would like to get the DataUsage per Database, as seen in this example (Data Size):

Is it possible to get these metrics with Promitor? Thanks!

That should normally work, what do the logs/scrape results say? Can you share those please?
Also, can you share a view of your metrics explorer for that metric & dimension to know what's expected in terms of values?

Can you try lower case "name" in your config for the dimension please?

Hope this is not the issue but you never know.

Version chart is 1.4.0, APP is 1.5.0:

I tried with lower case name (in the Metrics Promitor doc, it is upper case, but lower case in the example), I still get the same result.

I will try with version 1.6.0 to see if it solves the problem.

Good news, I confirm that it works with name in lower case and with version 1.6.1.
