https setup wizard fails on step 2 with unknown error

I have Zoraxy running in a docker container and I'm having some trouble using the built-in ACME tool. Requests for new certs time out. When I'm running the https setup wizard Zoraxy passes the port check (step 1) and both 443 and 80 are visible on https://canyouseeme.org/). I can also access the default site I have set up in Zoraxy from $mydomain (whose cert I generated without Zoraxy's acme tool) from outside my network. I am a novice with networking but this seems to me like the network is configured correctly? Running Zoraxy's https setup wizard however still fails on step 2 with Server return an Unknown Error.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Solved. For some reason the container had no network access.
