error when deploying this theme

I'm getting this error when running hugo server. I've followed the same steps as with other themes; for some reason, only this theme gives this error. Please help!

can you please update your hugo version .

Thanks Mehedi. That didn't help. I was running the latest version 0.54 and get the error mentioned

@seethun It works fine in my pc . But I saw people are facing this issue with other themes also . To fix this issue people are suggesting to init git in hugo root folder . Its weird but it solved the issue.
