This repository contains the implementation of a Movie Recommendation system built on Tecton + Snowflake. It was built for a demo at Apply() Conference.

A breakdown of the contents of this repository:

• demos/ contains two simple web pages built to show off both a batch and real-time recommendation system
• modeling/ contains code and guides to implement a deep-learning based recommendation model
• services/ contains the implementaiton of the microservices used to implement backend of the demo website
• feature_repo/ contains the Tecton feature repository that defines the features used in the deep-learning recommendation model

The Python enviornment used in this tutorial is described in the requirements.txt
