A feature that in the some time ( configurable ), will show the the day tasks or urgents.. something like it

It will show all tasks, and for each you can:
Mark as done
Mark as tomorow
Mark as someday

Also be able to specify a day for the task or something like it.

Here is what any.do does:

Thanks

besides the neat configuration, i don't see what it does better than smart sort? If you have your priorities and due dates set, it's pretty much perfect, IMHO.

the point is to re organize your task for that day or close to it..

It makes easier to do it, once you don't need to open and re set every task

Instead of opening a new issue, I'd like to add to this request the ability to show a persistent notification, like Any.do or Todoist do. In that notification users should be able to add new tasks, or as Any.do, show upcoming tasks. I don't know if there are any plans to add this feature to the main app, but I'd like to have this option 😄

+1 for the "Day planner" option. In fact, I'd like to work on a pull request for this feature, if the developer can guide me a bit.

I realized, that I re-plan some tasks, many, many times until they are actually done.
The reason why I like a feature like suggested here: some tasks don't really "due" on a specific day. It is more like "they should be done in the next days or weeks".
And re-organizing the tasks has the disadvantage that I get used to postpone tasks.

In my case, there are very few tasks with a hard due date. Because something like eating I remember without tasks 😄
It is more about (mainly uncomfortable) important tasks, which are not urgent.

Cheers for the good work so far 👍

Not to be that guy, but there are a few other apps that handle this issue - 'oops it's 3pm and i haven't done these things in my calendar, rearrange them and push them forward to the next days'. Or i didn't do this at 8am like i wanted, fit it in somewhere before i stop for the day at 9pm. Like Skedpal.

Skedpal definitely has all the functions which I hope for implemented nicely. Unfortunately it is not integrating with OpenSource apps like Nextcloud calendar or Nextcloud tasks

This is something I have been missing since switching from Microsoft To Do. It's My Day feature allowed to pick the most important things that you can commit to every day.

I'm working on Microsoft To Do support (#2011), so 'My Day' is on my radar, but I'm not sure what will happen with it
