Running the project

  1. Make sure to install python and mkdocs following the instructions in the official documentation;
  2. For the best experience, please install the Windmill theme for MkDocs either by installing the package (recommended) or cloning the repository;
  3. Clone this repository;
  4. Run python -m mkdocs serve in the project root. The changes you make in the documentation should be visible in https://localhost:8000/;

Contributing

Iron Man is an open-source project and everyone is welcome to contribute to it. There are many different ways to contribute:

  • Submit a pull request for an open issue;
  • Create an issue to expand the documentation with new projects or other suggestions;
  • Evaluate pull requests submitted, both technically and syntactically;

It is not necessary to be a member of the organization to contribute. The objective of this project is to advance the state of the art of humanoid robotics. If you have a new idea and are interested in contributing more actively, please contact us.
