Feature Request - In-Person Asset-Acceptance flow #3750
Comments
Please this would help a lot |
This would be amazing! |
+1 for this idea! |
Could this also be available for batch checkout? Currently the user receives multiple emails (one for each item), would be great if when doing a batch checkout only one notification is received and only a single signature is required for all assets on the checkout |
Also +1 by hosted costumer 👍 |
+1 !! Oh yes that would be so useful please! Thanks for your hard work! |

We don't use asset acceptance currently but would consider it more if this was an option! |
Is this still relevant? We haven't heard from anyone in a bit. If so, please comment with any updates or additional detail. |
Yep, this is still relevant |
Okay, it looks like this issue or feature request might still be important. We'll re-open it for now. Thank you for letting us know! |
@snipe Thanks again for all of your work! n0creativity |
We also are self-hosted and are in love with Snipe-IT. I work for a school district which has NEVER had an inventory of IT equipment. Now that I tested this, and it is free (thank you, @snipe !) they want to use it for everything. This particular feature would be a great addition and I look forward to when you have the time to implement it. Thanks for this awesome software! |

+1. This is a much needed feature. Do you guys know if this feature is being worked on? We have a lot of colleagues who don't have an email address for example, so they could only sign it on our end when collecting an asset. |

This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had
recent activity. It will be closed if no further activity occurs. Don't
take it personally, we just need to keep a handle on things. Thank you for
your contributions!

Any news? |
This will be use full. we are using an iPad and make them sign-in to their emails, or sign-in to snipeit and accept/sign when they come to central office or to the warehouse to pick their equipment, because we require them to sign when they get the assets |

Hello, |
Checkout asset when user comes to collect
Hi,
A feature request: is there any chance that SnipeIT could have a feature whereby when a user comes to collect an asset and I check it out to them, they can read and sign for it there and then without waiting for the email. For example, it would work as follows:
This would make it work great on a tablet where I can check an asset out on a tablet device and user can read and sign for it using their finger straightaway.
I hope this makes sense.
Thanks!
And again - fantastic piece of software! :)
