How-RL-differs-from-SL-and-UL

Click-through rate prediction is the task of predicting the likelihood that something on a website (such as an advertisement) will be clicked.


Ads selection

  • Used Upper Confidence Bound (UCB) Algorithm which involves Exploration and Exploitation simultaneously
  • 10 variants of an Ad from 10,000 users were considered
  • To find best ad from a set of ad versions so that maximum click and highest conversion rate can be obtained
