I don't know, right now this is more of a "this is where I got to" PR - I put a comment on the issue of why I don't like this solution though I'm stuck |

Solution is not great, just leaving PR draft for now until we decide what to do on issue
Also would need to do something about
use SilverStripe\Admin\AdminRootControllerwithin framework, either a class_exists or use extensions hook to add/update the button
