The cmus-current-song program uses the 'cmus-remote' binary to query the current song that is playing in the CMUS music player. It does not have any configuration options, and simply displays the current song information when run. If no song is currently playing, the program will not display any information.

The program will parse the output of the 'cmus-remote' command to extract the necessary information about the current song, such as the artist, track title, and album. Here is an example of what the output might look like when a song is playing:

$ cmus-current-song
