System: WIN11 22H2 X64
Notepad3: 6.23.203.2 X64
Sometimes when I close a notepad3 instance which contains a unsaved text, I cannot see the system dialog that should have popped up to ask me to save the file.
I don't know when it could happen, but it has happened several days these days.
I have to kill notepad3 instance from task manager.

I encountered the same issue:
My laptop is connected to a second monitor that is set as the primary monitor. When I minimize a window with unsaved stuff and then try to close it by hovering over the icon on the taskbar and pressing the X from there, the window reappears and the system dialog appears behind it. The focus is on the window and not on the dialog. That issue does not occur if the window is on the primary monitor and i try to close it from the taskbar of the primary monitor.

(Same system and Notepad3 version as op.)

Hello @chariothy , @King-of-Kings-980 ,

Feel free to test the "BETA/RC PortableApps", version "Notepad3Portable_6.24.527.1_rc3.paf" or newer, see in issue #1129.

"Notepad3Portable BETA/RC PortableApps" version can be used with or without ".7z" extension.

Also, feel free to test the "BETA/RC Setup", version "Notepad3_6.24.527.1_rc3_Setup" or newer, see the 2nd list in issue #1129.

Comments and suggestions are welcome... 😃
