Status of MIDI and timemap expansion

I've been following the various issues regarding generation of MIDI and timemap with expanded repeats and jumps, but I am not sure what the current status is, nor what the roadmap is for those two features. My own experiment is not producing an expanded MIDI, but I am not sure I am doing it right.

Can anyone help clarify? Thanks in advance!

It is not working because you are using MusicXML data. The time map expansion implementation relies on MEI xml:ids, meaning that it can work only if you load MEI data.

Thanks for your reply. As a stop-gap measure, I've implemented an XSL transformation that expands a MusicXML score to an expanded one.

Is MusicXML support for expansion on your roadmap?

Not really since this is essentially a MusicXML processing issue. It would be essentially a modification to the MusicXML importer for which a PR can be made.
