I wanted to ask if there are any plans to support opentofu. It is already technically possible to just use the terraform provider to bump config for opentofu as well. The only problem I'm having with this approach is locking the providers in the .terraform.lock.hcl file.
Renovate seems to ignore the provider source, e.g.

provider "registry.opentofu.org/hashicorp/random" {

and treats it as

provider "registry.terraform.io/hashicorp/random" {

So after a renovate update I have a lock file that still points to the opentofu registry, but has terraform registry hashes in it.

I created a minimal reproduction here:

Steps to reproduce:

1. I started with a minimal example and an outdated terraform random provider:

2. I created the .terraform.lock.hcl file with

tofu providers lock

and commited the lockfile

3. I ran renovate with the minimal config committed in 1) and merged the renovate PR

4. I git pulled locally and run tofu init which fails with checksums do not match
