Orca Slicer Printago Edition (alpha)

Changelog:

  • Fixed issues with AMS printing & status
  • Version bump to include "alpha" - releases will follow this pattern until our full production release (alpha, alpha2, alpha3, etc).

As a reminder:

Versioning: To maintain compatibility and ease of use, Orca Slicer PE's version number aligns with the upstream Orca Slicer.
Configuration & Usage: Orca Slicer PE is tailored for server use and is not meant to replace Orca Slicer or Bambu Studio in your existing workflow. It has been optimized for minimal interaction, with most dialogs disabled to support automation.
Preferences: It's crucial to check the preferences on the first run. Specifically, we recommend enabling slicing profile synchronization if you're leveraging a Bambu Labs account; it makes setting up Printago just a few clicks away. This feature is typically prompted on the first run but is disabled by default in Orca PE for smoother automation. Remember to restart Orca PE after making this change.
Connectivity: Orca Slicer PE allows you to log into your Bambu Lab account to print to any connected printers or operate in LAN mode for printers on the same network as the host computer. After creating your Printago account, you'll need to have Orca Slicer PE running along with a web browser pointed to Printago Fuse.
Get Started with Printago: To begin automating your Bambu printers, visit printago.io to create an account.
Orca Support and Enhancements: Orca PE will focus primarily on addressing bugs and enhancements specific to the PE version. For general feature support and slicer bug fixes, please refer to the [Orca Slicer GitHub page] (https://github.com/SoftFever/OrcaSlicer).

This release represents a significant step towards streamlined, automated 3D printing workflows. We're eager to hear your feedback and look forward to improving Orca Slicer PE with your help. For support and to join our community, visit the Printago Discord.

Happy printing!
