The site provides a catalog of board games with user authorization, comments and likes. There is also an API.

The first thing to do is to clone the repository:

$ git clone https://github.com/polina-koval/BG.git 
$ cd BG

Create a virtual environment to install dependencies in and activate it:

$ virtualenv venv  
$ source venv/bin/activate

Then install the dependencies:

(venv)$ pip install -r requirements.txt

There is a file in the repo ".env.example", this file for use in local development. Duplicate this file as .env in the root of the project and update the environment variables SECRET_KEY, EMAIL_HOST_USER, EMAIL_HOST_PASSWORD.

$ cp .env.example .env

Once pip has finished downloading the dependencies and the variable is updated:

(venv)$ python manage.py runserver

Navigate to http:https://127.0.0.1:8000/catalog to the website and http:https://127.0.0.1:8000 to the API.
